I'm embarrassed to have only finished the Metal Cooler team so far. year 1 player. and i feel it too. end game content is on the table, but a few sbr,esbr, and other off meta challenges are harder without tons of the f2p units. almost finished the ginyu squad recently, then its on to bardock. then i can finish beepan cause i forgot about all those units too. :( better late than never i guess
A year hasn't passed for me, and I've done like a great chunk of the f2p characters like 70%>80%, I got them rainbowed. Only a small few aren't, and a great chunk are fully eza, and a good few aren't for character needed reasons😤😤😤 by next year I should have like 1,500 characters or 2k 😅😅😅

So working on their ezas but its def not ez. Glad I have a decent amount of stones, prob a few k to grind from missions and content. I always was a f2player since around the time Jphanta started
the only problem is zeni to me. It's pretty much impossible to run f2p units that aren't new unless you eza them, and eza cost a shit tone of zeni for some reason. I really wish they'd reduce the cost of awakening in dokkan
The only thing with the Ginyu and Bardock squads, I wanna grind them out but with the extra 5 copies for them, how would you awaken them? The missions should only drop the initial set amount and no stage for it to drop. Any advice?
Either get the medals one by one from baba shop which will take some time or for ginyu you get 5 kais of each type when you do their skill orb event mission.
Are you a global or JP player? Cause if you're on JP, both bardock and Ginyu force medals would be found in the baba shop. If you're on Global, you'll only find the Ginyu Force ones as of now. I believe we'll be getting an update that adds them in soon
The medals are randomly dropped by the stage boss at a low chance. Edit: I remembered wrong, that's not true. But you can use the trick where the same character of the awakening line can fully transfer the SA level. It's only a 50% chance for the ur, but if you wanna try a 5SA ur a few times it will eventually work
To farm them? Any wicked bloodline character will do. In their team? The str metal cooler you can get in stage 3 or the lr int metal cooler you can get from battlefield
What one would you say is the easiest to farm, started my jo account a week ago and got the new lrs and don't have a good way of farming for their medals, I need one that can be done quickly as these grindy events can get
None of them are worth farming besides for stones. Go to work for the same amount of time it takesbto grind these out and you can just buy stones to get the best units and have time to have a life.

One big argument for the metal cooler team, is that they all have 7/7 links, and as such you get so many boosts from them being link lvl 10.
I’ve grinded all of Ginyu Bardock and Cooler teams and I can say for all of us these are one of the most soul draining process especially the eza part
the metal coolers are good for the last stage of battlefield which i find pretty funny since most units do really bad in there

They're tedious but getting that LR team bardock/goku ginyu LR after so long is an unmatched feeling.
an annoyance is that a rainbowed f2p unit only compares to a 55% summon featured unit and that sucks ass

I have my Bardock team and Ginyu on SA level 10/15, don't really feel like I need that extra oomph for any stage
Not only is the giny/bardock f2p good they also have good dfe units
ginyu force medals are a pain to get i have to wait tell they come in the shop witch sucks
The grind is painful but i recommend using a auto clicker set up and do smth else
