    My understanding is that heat pops the bubbles (either with a heat gun or lighter). Good luck! 😃

    Such thoughtful tips! I especially love the idea of pouring slowly from a height to avoid bubbles-that’s so practical.

      Going to try them next casting. Let me know if you try them. another person said heat to the resin might help...?

      @@MyMinimadness Gently heating resin (e.g., with a heat gun or a hairdryer on low heat) can help release trapped air bubbles. This should be done after pouring the resin into the mold but before it fully cures.
      Adding heat can accelerate the curing process. Be cautious-too much heat can cause the resin to cure unevenly, warp, or even crack.

    If you’re doing Rococo, the round ones would make great ceiling medallions.

      Yes they would, but I have another technique too. Look for it to come.

    Top tips for resin
    1. Label the measuring cups so you don't accidentally pour "A" into the "B" cup & end up with set resin in the measuring cups.
    2. Pour a thin stream of resin slowly from height, this helps to stop bubbles forming.
    3. Pour your resin in a small black bottle with a needle applicator, this enables you to get tiny amounts of resin in tiny places of the mould & also stops bubbles forming. The black bottle is useful as light cannot penetrate (more useful with UV resin than 2 part resin).
    Tips came from my daughter who is quite good with resin, though she does say that resin is temperamental & sometimes even if you do everything right, for some reason it still doesn't work.

      I asked you questions in the video...did you prep your furniture for painting French white? How did you prep your resin pcs for painting...please do a video if you havent. Show your process. It would be easier to see pieces out of the dollhouse. Your rooms are so beautiful! I was thinking of you when I painted the white frame. ; ) susan

      @MyMinimadness Hi Susan most of my resin pieces I do with acrylic paints the pigment comes out much better you have be careful not to add to much. I do have a video how I do my resin pieces On my channel several year back. My miniature furniture I normally paint it white and distress it with either markers or use the sand paper. You normally paint it a dark color than add the lighters colors than distress it. I do apologize for not answer you sooner been catching up on my messages. I was waiting your videos at 3:00 am I have severe insomnia and must of dozed off my apologies.💕💕💕

      @@TinyTreasures5755 Thank you for the info! I will look back and see if I can find your videos. I too have sleep issues. I think of miniatures going to sleep and upon waking. LOL Are you prepping the furniture piece with a sealer, and what white paint?

    • @TinyTreasures5755
      @TinyTreasures5755 9 дней назад

      I really don't use any sealer on my furniture to be honest I normally use what I have I even use markers to age some of the furniture you can use markers to age your furniture as well . Good job on the mirrors I would use mirrored paper for some of my mirrors. Lol

    Running over the resin when its in the mold with a lightee should pop the bubbles..you would think that would be flameable! 🤔 be cautious ⚠️ cant wait to see more..im so far behind!❤🥰
