ricky rua LOL. You are dead on except Bob Ross says "We don't make mistakes, just happy little discoveries." I don't think you can say that with a razor.
He was able to see him holding the bottle of water and first sprayed in the air somewhat above him, so he knew it would happen. But a warning would have been better yeah.
You have inspired me to switch from a salon to a true barber shop. I am trying out all of the different ones in my area. Thank you for documenting all of the amazing different cultures and histories of professional male grooming.
I love the way you have incorporated so many different things from your visits around the world to your advantage....That is how any art/artist should grow...
DAMN NOMAD! It's been really cool watching you grow, I can't say when it is you started your channel but I was subbed then. Back then you would get hundreds of views at first, and I'm sure I was one of the first 500 subs, hell maybe even first 100 subs. I just knew I loved the concept, traveling the world to find out all the secrets and skills of the local barbers...and you went to the upper class shops and the lower low low barber shacks haha the cool thing is some of the best barbers would be in those ran down shops, especially the Indian barbers. I know there was people like Haircut Harry that had the concept of traveling around the world to get his hair cut and face shaved in various barbershops but he would just show the video of him getting the service. The fact that you are a barber yourself and would interview and give your own insight was genius, and I'm happy for your successes Nomad! Cheers to your shop and your channel...Fabian from Atlanta, GA, USA
Greetings from Brazil my name is gabriel and wanted to thank you for the videos. They are incredible . I'm starting in the world of barbershop and have available such a rich and diverse material, so full of references inspires me every day. To learn more and more. Keep it up! Success. Cheers...
My cousin is a Barber from Puerto Rico. He gave me a shave like this. It was the best experience I ever had with a Barber. Makes a big difference. I left feeling like a Million bucks.
I remember when I first started watching Nomad when he first started...I want to say at the time he had HUNDREDS of subs but his videos were always great and I felt like I was lucky to come across him thinking that a lot of people wouldn't catch on but man did they ever. It's really cool to see someone grow through RUclips, especially when it's a cool guy like Miguel who just loves the Barbershop. Well done Nomad Barber
Love these videos..... The information and shaving techniques shown are awesome!! Watching the video with Kem actually helped improve my technique.... Props to the Nomad for doing this and forget the trolls who try to pick the videos apart!
I think its really great that you've been able to go around the world and experience what you have and pluck the best parts and put it in to your shaves, very good inspiration example, you'll inspire a lot of barbers, including myself, Thank you.
Thank you so much for putting in the quality of barbering and really emphasizing in the tradition . The face massage , shoulders, client being comfortable, and sharing things that are great. Most barbers know all this, but still feel a sense of appreciation for people that share the knowledge. Could you please tell us what the post shave lotion was? I personally use a rose witch hazel astringent , then a cold towel, then a chilled Baxter of California post shave balm. Thanks nomad!
I seen about all your videos and its awesome that u apply the foreign traditions of barbing and massaging to your techique. I wish more barbers would open up more to the turkish and indian ways of shaving. Keep up the cool work u do
i don't know why but I never expected you to be British.. This is the first video I've watched of yours where YOU talk. Whoa! Surprised but I love your accent :) thank you for all your wonderful, relaxing videos!
I started watching the series a few days ago. I think I’ve psyched myself up for my next shave and haircut. I usually stop shaving the week before a haircut to give the barber something to work with. I do enjoy a good hot shave.
I’m a big fan of all your videos, but this is one of my favorites. Really enjoyed how you demonstrated some of your own techniques in this video. I’m from the United States but would love to come to London for a proper shave. How far in advance do you recommend someone making an appointment?
This is great. As a female human that hasn't experienced this and doesn't understand what all the products/steps are for this answered a lot of questions.
Your journey around the world is really over ? And how am i gonna do without your videos ??! Im addicted! Btw where is your shop? I promise one day i i'll come over !!!!
I m really impressed nomad tht u had explore the india and its barber shop vry carefully nd deeply and i appreciate tht u r implementing it as well. Keep it up
I have frequently recommended that wet shavers/shaving enthusiasts should study professional barbers if they really want to understand and develop the absolute best shaving technique. In my opinion, only watching other wet shavers short changes one's knowledge but I have seen a lot of resistance against that line of reasoning. In any case, WELL DONE tutorial. I thoroughly enjoyed watching.
Thank you for what you do! I enjoyed all your videos and the different techniques you used from your travels! I've recently graduated from barber school, and want to master the razor among other things. Could you make a video on a close shave? Against the grain, on how it should be done, and what not to do, problems new barbers run into and such. Along with any advice and recommendations. Thanks again!! - grateful fan.
I have a Scottish face: Sensitive skin and very thick beard hair. Whenever I get a straight razor shave, it is usually is followed by a day of razor burn. Still worth it to get a proper hot towel shave!
I'm 80 miles away from you, bit of a trek for a shave but I'm sure it will be worth it. Also, as I'm "follicley challenged", do you do a head shave too? Just saying... :-)
I don't care what anyone says, you're my hero. Haha. You influenced me to purchase a straight razor. Now I just gotta find somewhere around me that can sharpen it.
The shave / massage session with Baba in India is very relaxing mentally, and yours is a handsome face to shave. A full, hour long, unedited version would be appreciated here in Texas. Thanks.
Great video Miguel, loved your travel series. Hopefully I can get a great shave like this the next time Im in london. Your indian friend in hampi would be proud.

I feel more relaxed than the chap getting the shave
Dan HomePhysique nope. Take it from me, the guy getting the shave is in relaxation heaven
You're like Bob Ross but instead of painting, you're shaving. Very relaxing to watch.
Now that you mention it...
Dude. Spot on! I love watching Bob Ross videos. The nomad has some tremendously relaxing videos
ricky rua LOL. You are dead on except Bob Ross says "We don't make mistakes, just happy little discoveries." I don't think you can say that with a razor.
LOL. Good on you, sir. You definitely cannot.
ricky rua I thought I was the only one relaxed by this..... I feel better
"We want the customer to be as comfortable as possible, they come here to relax" *sprays him in the face with water without warning*

Watching this made me really sleepy for some reason.
Same here
You get a tingling feeling? You might have ASMR
Watching pretty much all of them make me sleepy. It's about the only thing that does.
It's because it looks so relaxing. Shaving is pretty relaxing too.
Agreed, Pumpkin. So soothing...
You have inspired me to switch from a salon to a true barber shop. I am trying out all of the different ones in my area. Thank you for documenting all of the amazing different cultures and histories of professional male grooming.

Oh my lord the face massage after the post-shave oil it applied looks godly.
This is by far the best shave I've seen. Fantastic touch. Very relaxing.
There's nothing better than getting a shave from a professional. It's so relaxing and you come out looking your best.
It is wonderful that a barber can give another man such comfort. Pure joy.

I just graduated hairstyling school and I'm working in a barber shop. Your videos are helping me so much! I wish you could be my teacher!!

Nomad Barber for a hundred more years!
Amazing, he truly took a little bit of everything he experienced on his trip and applied it to his own shaving service.
Finally, someone who seems to both know how to shave and makes it a relaxing experience.
Randomly stumbled onto that Baba episode on Facebook and now I'm addicted to this whole channel. A sub well earned.
Can you inbox me the link?

If I did not love my beard so much, I would definitely go to this guy or a Turkish barber for one of these shaves. They look relaxing AF.

Pretty awesome, you could see the fragments of inspiration the nomad has gotten from much traveling and experience

That cosmic energy joke made me laugh hard :)
I love that you can hear the razor blade doing its magic, especially in a video such as this
Great video. So you were a barber yourself all along. :O Didn't know that.
I was SO relaxed after watching this video. You ever think of doing ASMR vids? You have a new subscriber. :)
Great video! Should of incorporated some of that 7 shakra technique 😉
This guy used the best tricks all around the world he wondered and found the skills and now he is using that in his own shop 🤙🤙
I really like that T shirt :)
You can buy one from The Nomad Barber! : )

Do you ever get the urge to use some Ketchup when shaving?
Just seeing this and i´m already relaxed. So nice!
Do you go with or against the grain on the gooch?
straight razor down there? no thanks
+aguyandhiscomputer No kidding. Straight razor to the face is freaky enough.
would you imagine sneezing while shaving the gooch with a straight razor? it would be a bloodbath
why is watching this whole experience so relaxing to me

You make this look so easy. I'm just starting to learn shaving. Much harder than it looks
Guys are more likely to have tension in the jaw? Weird, I would assume women are more likely.

Why, why did that legendary engram not give me Hawkmoon?
why is this game following me around RUclips?
