The other problem with Jimmy going out west is he NEEDS to be playing 95% of the games in the reg season. Cant coast to the playoffs in the west like you can in the East.
The NBA's new rules basically mean of your a star player and you take the money you aint leaving till the contracts over or because contenders cant really trade for more stars the NBA is now focusing more on having quality depth then loading up on stars
I feel like all these Jimmy takes are undercooked. 1. Heat already said no to Beal. The interest is gone due to his no trade clause...even less interest now due to cheaper and better "All-Star Tyler". 2. Mavs would have to trade half their team. So, no. 3. Rockets said they like their team. That's a no. 4. Gsw's are possible for Kuminga, Wigs, etc. 5. Nets? They could BUT why? It makes no sense. Surely they have learnt from their past star chasing. Pat Riley would rather Jimmy walk for nothing in free agency than move him at the deadline. He simply doesn’t do big deadline deals. Jimmy Butler has never been traded to the teams he list as preffered location. Only exception was Miami, but that was a S&T, not really a trade per se.
@sporting logically i dont think you realize how important dillon brooks is to houston. their defence goes down the shitter if you trade him. with sengun injured, and adams with his chronic knee problems, the rockets likely trade for a solid defensive 7 ft rim protecting center as insurance. if anything the history with fred vanvleet and jakob poeltl, i can see rockets just getting a center and maybe some 3 pt shooting, or a defensive guard thats cheap of the caruso type.
This man has had enough chances, it's over, you got to the championship twice and lost both times it's done. Take your money, Miami needs a younger guy to build through.

Don't see Rockets trading Jabari tbh. I would replace him with Tate and maybe another protected 1st. Don't see them unloading any young piece for Butler and if they do trade for him Butler needs to accept just a 2yr extension at most..
Feel like hed be alright for Atlanta. But they deffinitly not ganna give up thier young talent for him, maybe would do it for deondre hunter and bogdon.
I actually think that Fred VanVleet needs to be the guy traded in the Butler Deal. Amen Thompson is too good to sit on the bench. I think Fred, Whitmore, maybe a filler, and a Suns first and maybe this years pick. Whitmore is the odd man out in Houston. I can see the Brooks and Adams thing working since Houston is deep but they’d need to send away Jeff Green and Tate too and at that point the Heat will want so many picks it’s not worth it. I think the framework has to be around Fred. But damn the Rockets would be nice with Butler. I’d love to see it because I’m tired of this Heat team. They gotta retool and a couple picks a young player and Fred’s expiring would be a good package for Jimmy
The worries need SIZE , /5 position Not jimmy butler... They are not gonna give up Holli nothing for him so he is not going there and the Warriors do not want him.
Why would Miami do that? Knecht isn't good enough to warrant that extra year on Rui's deal. I'd rather have cap space this summer and sign Brandon Ingram
No to the warriors. If it was 4 years ago then yes. Don’t fit in here and too many flags for him. Rather hey him in a team friendly contract like Derozen but Derozen hasn’t been good as well. Butler would ruin the chemistry.
Anybody who trades for Butler will regret it dude is old, always injured and wants to get paid the max. Heat knows this thats why they're trying to dump him. As for Butler being an upgrade to Brooks dont make me laugh. Brooks is not a star but he is a defensive pillar and he is always available to play. He also makes less than half of Butler salary and he is locked to a long term deal.
Couldn’t have said it better. It’d be like when the Lakers traded for Westbrook almost. Meaning it wouldn’t work and it should be something that same team that were to trade for him should regret. He’s clearly declining as a player, and wants a max contract to which a team he would be traded to most likely would not be able to hand him because they wouldn’t be able to financially do it. As a Mavs fan, I’m praying they don’t trade for him, I doubt he and Luka may get along when he seems selfish as a player and would just be a bad fit and ruin the chemistry the Mavs are now starting to build up to go back to the finals and win a chip

@ICONOCLAST Don't worry the Rockets don't want a washed Jimmy Butler. You can keep him and resign him for a massive overpay. We are happy with Dillon the Villan.
Please not the Rockets, they have a good thing going with the young guys
Shi if its only jimmy im fine with letting him go. Tyler been doin his thing i would like some draft capital
The Rockets are hunting for bigger game than Jimmy. Giannis
Fr. Theyre the richest with trade assets and are holding the Suns future. Giannis or KD is Rockets main target or they can even get Antman if he keeps being unhappy in Twolves
Favorite RUclipsr 🔥🔥🔥
We don't even need to trade him...!!!! . Just getting rid of him will make me one of the most happiest Miami Heat "fan" 😂😂😂😂😂
We should call him "THE BENCH GUY" .....Always sitting injured!!!!!!!
Don't be ungrateful man .
Yeah like when he lead the team to the finals he did it from the bench
I think the Rockets should pass on Jimmy
The other problem with Jimmy going out west is he NEEDS to be playing 95% of the games in the reg season. Cant coast to the playoffs in the west like you can in the East.
The NBA's new rules basically mean of your a star player and you take the money you aint leaving till the contracts over or because contenders cant really trade for more stars the NBA is now focusing more on having quality depth then loading up on stars
There not trading Wiggins 😭😭😭😭 he will NEVER be on trade talks …. Kuminga , pods , melton , moody, 2 draft picks .
Hey, been a while since I clicked a like to roll it from 999 to 1k. Neat.
I like the Rockets, but I think for the team and Jimmys sake, they should take it year by year with the contract talks or at the very least bi yearly
Jimmy isn’t getting traded . He wants his money the timing of this report is really funny considering Heat just getting on the ball
In summary, after the smoke clears, Jimmy will very likely opt in UNLESS Steph requests Jimmy. The end😅
Yes Rockets is the Perfect Fit for Jimmy Butler. And in return we get Dillion Brooks, Jabari Smith Jr, Reed Shepard and Amen Thompson. Dillion Brooks, Jabari Smith Jr, Reed Shepherd, Steven Adams and Amen Thompson are a Great Fit and Perfect fit for Miami Heat along side with Tyler Herro and Bam Adebayo.
Boy you on dope if you think we giving all that up for old ass washed up energy pron jimmy , no trade at all , he dosent make the Rockets better … Dillion is there consistently
Don forget green senguin ime and the ownership rights to Toyota center why stop there 😂😂😂 would u like a key to the city as well 😂😂 yall stink with jimmy nobody makes trades anymore now that the aprons are here
@@richbase7005hopefully My Family and i will enjoy our new players from the Rockets is Dillion Brooks, Jabari Smith Jr, Reed Shepherd, Steven Adams and Amen Thompson. Because Jimmy Butler is Born in Houston TX and so Jimmy Butler Is going to the Rockets because that’s his Home in Houston.
Pat Riley would rather Jimmy walk for nothing in free agency than move him at the deadline. He simply doesn’t do big deadline deals. Add that to the new CBA rules making it so hard for contenders to make trades and you know Jimmy is gonna be in Miami until at least the offseason where I’d wager we end up re-signing him anyway. As a Heat fan though I’m neither here nor there. I’d love to keep Jimmy and I’m happy for his time in Miami but not sure how much business sense it makes
I freaking love playoff Jimmy. If we lose him then I'd instantly lose interest in the Heat. Smh #GoHeat
If we let him leave for nothing, our team is screwed for the next 5 to 10 years. We need to trade him and get an high return for the rebuild, miss the playoffs and try to get a top 3 pick in the draft.
@@lyndaaugustin6326 and us real fans would not care even a little bit. Don’t forget we got and lost LeBron James buddy we are very much used to shedding dead weight bandwagon fans.
If the front office deems Jimmy isn’t worth the money then so be it. We’d have a dope young core with room to add a new star if necessary. We’d still love and appreciate Jimmy for the memories he gave us, but even he knows how this all works

@@hansduroseau define “screwed for the next 5-10 years” because it just sounds to me like you’re spoiled. Relative to most of the league we’ve been one of the best and most consistently competitive franchises the last 3 decades so I understand why you’d be spoiled, but please do understand that you’re spoiled.
The reality is that Pat would want a Superstar offer for Jimmy Butler and there’s no team that’s giving out superstar payment.
Like Pat wants a KD package so unless he gets that Jimmy is staying
Nuggets need em
tbh tyler herro looks ready now to be the main guy. i love jimmy and will probably follow him to his next team lol
Herro is not good enough to be the main guy.
3 team trade
Butler to Houston
Ingram to Miami via New Orleans
Jock landale, Cam Whitmore to Miami via Houston
new Orleans recieve
Steve Adam, jaesean tate and Jeff green from Houston. Houston would also throw in some 2nd round picks.
the money matches
50Mill for a 35 year old Jimmy Butler?? Respectfully this man will be a free agent if he doesnt resign. Aint nobody dumb enough to pay for that.
I feel like nuggets would love to have him either for MPJ or Murray but there's no way Jimmy would agree to go to Denver.
@crepinhauser5274 Nuggets need more 3pt threats, not less. westbrook should never play at the same time as jokic. jokic needs snipers around him, not westbrick and jimmy
@@mgl2708 right now they need a bit of dog. When they have dog (beside Russ) they can get 3s.
EDIT: it's not happening anyway the nuggets don't have financial room for him.
Send him to the warriors
Im pretty sure only the media wants the GSW to keep and continue to develop kuminga . . .. . BRO he's a 4th year . . and he's still not efficient, streaky, and plays such that Kerr is willing to bring him ( young explosive, yatta yotta) off the bench. GSW fan here and im looking forward to who they trade Kuminga for.
To GS for Kuninga, Podzemski and pics.
Let’s see
As much of a fan I am of him. We don’t need him in Dallas. We’re good rn.
Watch Miami go chaotic and ship Jimmy to charlotte or Washington for shits and giggles
Doubt it. With Butlers shenanigans, he still led to the finals 2x. You gain respect after that.
Steve Adam, landale, tate and cam wit more or Holiday would make the money work. Throw in a pick.
Jimmy is from Tomball Texas, basically Houston he wants to come Home. He would play hard for his Home team.
Don't see Rockets trading Jabari tbh. I would replace him with Tate and maybe another protected 1st.
Don't see them unloading any young piece for Butler and if they do trade for him Butler needs to accept just a 2yr extension at most..
a trade is coming!
... i don't really know where though
Feel like hed be alright for Atlanta. But they deffinitly not ganna give up thier young talent for him, maybe would do it for deondre hunter and bogdon.
I’d hate if my team did a star trade. They never seem to work and they cripple themselves in the long term.
The worries need SIZE , /5 position
Not jimmy butler... They are not gonna give up Holli nothing for him so he is not going there and the Warriors do not want him.
I like Brandon Ingram to the Heat. Idk who the 3rd team would be that'd take Jimmy Butler but who knows
Don't want Jimmy at Golden State because he the same player as Wiggins 2 way player with a high contract unless he's part of the trade.
Heat fans know, you got to see it to believe it
Watch him go to the bucks. He honestly could be the difference maker for a good team to make a finals run
Im pretty sure that those teams were named because those are the teams jimmy said hes ok to go to
As a warriors fan, nah
Lakers: Butler
Heat: Rui, Dalton, D angelo
Why would Miami do that?
Knecht isn't good enough to warrant that extra year on Rui's deal. I'd rather have cap space this summer and sign Brandon Ingram
No to the warriors. If it was 4 years ago then yes. Don’t fit in here and too many flags for him. Rather hey him in a team friendly contract like Derozen but Derozen hasn’t been good as well. Butler would ruin the chemistry.
So either they trade Butler or let him walk for nothing in 2025 free agency
The Warriors never offered Kuminga for Paul George
I could see the grizzlies or pelicans trading for him too
Who would want a past his prime, often injured Butler who doesn't get along with younger players?
It would be perfect for the clippers, but they would have to include norman powell or trade Jimmy for Kawhi straight up
Heat aint doing any of these deals except Warriors one cuz its a robbery lol
Anybody who trades for Butler will regret it dude is old, always injured and wants to get paid the max. Heat knows this thats why they're trying to dump him.
As for Butler being an upgrade to Brooks dont make me laugh. Brooks is not a star but he is a defensive pillar and he is always available to play. He also makes less than half of Butler salary and he is locked to a long term deal.
There's no chance you actually would rather have Dillon Brooks than Jimmy buckets😂
@TopNic21 Bruh I dont want to pay 50M a year to 40 yr old jimmy buckets. You realize he is an expiring and wants a max deal right?
Exactly. He just wants to get his last contract and then chill until he retires. It would be extremely stupid to give up assets for him
Couldn’t have said it better.
@@conorwatchvidz exactly. And he is gonna be a free agent why would you trade for someone like that? Reminds me when Morey traded for Chris Paul when he could have been signed in free agency a couple months later. Just a dumb move.
Mavs couldn’t. They’d actually have to trade everyone they can, assuming Luka Kyrie and Klay are off the table
Jeff Teague said it best for Houston, it would be a Min all over again.
Jimmy just gotta sit with the fact he ain’t gonna get a ring
It’s not worth it for HOU
Maybe GSW
Not DAL at all
I don’t see why GS wouldn’t want to trade for Jimmy. Only thing significant they’d have to give up is Kuminga and a first or something. It’s not like they even want to pay Kuminga. I’d say GS is most likely and then Houston right after
And Andrew Wiggins
@ he’s not that significant when you’re getting jimmy butler in return
trade is unlikely. Heat would want more than what any team would offer, plus matching that salary will be nearly impossible
Id let the rockets at least play out the rest of the year before i mess with the roster. Let the team and young guys develop
Why aren’t the grizzlies an option seems like a perfect fit imo
Butler for AD
Why would the Mavs gut the best team they've had around Luka for half a season of Jimmy Butler?
Spurs or rockets with Jimmy would be contending for the conference finals ngl. If the Thunder didn’t exist I’d have them at the top. Also depends on what they’d have to give up.
Both the Spurs and the Rockets are mainly young teams who are still growing into whatever their potential is. Jimmy, plus a bunch of inexperienced youngsters, does not scream "conference finals contenders."
@ the rockets def are. Especially since they’re alr great without him. They have Adams, Brooks and some offloadable contracts. Spurs have a bunch of stuff but ur right abt them
Jimmy to wolves for Rudy and they trade Randal to nets two seconds and future first for nic claxston
Lavine for butler. So the bulls rebuild can finally start.
Kuminga not getting traded
I'm warriors fan we good we can't pay him
hope the 76ers get Butler back when he was here before Brett Brown didnt know how to use his talents on the court
lol wouldn't get my hopes up
Jimmy is basically the same player as Embiid and George at this point outside of being a better playoff performer.
Why would Rockets settle for Butler when they can get Kevin Durant, Giannis or Antman. Youre forgetting they have the most important Suns picks from Brooklyn trade. No way Rockets trade their depth and young core for old Butler lmao
wolves not trading ant anytime soon 😭😭😭tf you talkin bout
Rockets got this without him
I'm glad they sending him to the west if that happens. Removes Miami as a threat to my Celtics.
It’s [Shahmz] not shams (i.e. rhymes with tom, not jam)
lakers im not even a fan i just got a weird feeling
Suns should take him !!! Take Beal and Nurkic
