With the autostack, instead of counting out items I just leave 1 in the storage chest, then when I've finished I can quickly autostack everything back into the chest. Also when you dive with a diving helmet, hold the boogie board too and you'll walk really quickly underwater.
I use a mixture personally. Often I’ll do as you say. Leave a token item to allow auto stack if I’m doing many things that day, but if I’m mindful of something else I’m doing (like a mine run straight after Franklin or something like that), I want to ensure I’m not carrying excess baggage. Ah yes. That’s true with the boogie board. These days you can get the water speed boost with the new swimming buff. 💪
I’m torn to going back to controller. For me, since I’m not adapting to KBM for Fortnite, it’s extra hand training time to transition. The biggest benefit so far is pocket and chest management. Moving a mouse is far more refined and quicker. Everything else is similar but different. I’ve been meaning to do a video on controller usage on Dinkum for a while now. 🤣
@@AlexiGiovani It's that lack of refinement with drag and drop combined with all the options for hot keys that keep me on mouse and keyboard. I also have to admit, that I learned to touch type in the early 1980's on a typewriter. I have been playing PC games since the end of the 1980's. The console option for me as a pre-teen was Atari, I predate that modern controller. Please ignore the old gamer, shaking their fist at the clouds.
Im quiting Dinkum. It is a really good and fun farming game. Has everything i want and no bs talking with npcs. I love this! But... I cant make money. Its rash. Always broke and lot of grind to make few bucks. Even the fruits i need a lot of cooking stations to get a few more dinks for them. A day of fishing make around 25k. I need 8 days to pay my debt and buy new spot for another shop (forgot the name of the license). Its a pain!

Oh definitely. Controller definitely slows things down even though there _have_ been some improvements to controller support. Thanks for watching and sharing.

we need a seeder that drops one seed per tile
Omg YES! That’d be awesome. Are you going to suggest that on discord? 🤪
I need to use at least some of these habits.
Really hope they were applicable and useful to you.
I really feel for you folks playing with a controller, I can't imagine the pain.
To be honest, I didn’t know any different, until I started playing recently on my new PC. 🥰🤪
I've been using my PS controller since the beginning of playing dinkum as I'm less comfortable with PC

There’s an auto stack button. Just FYI. Like on your controller. :)
There is now, but it was only added recently for controller support (I recall James coming into chat to let me know during a livestream)
