OMG! I cannot believe how well that worked! Just got the nicest linen dress and after it's first day out I got three really obvious snagged threads. Just tried this and you cannot tell it ever happened!! 💖
So now the snag is on the inside? I understand it's not visible anymore this way but it's still there then right? Or does this technique make sure you pull it 'back in' to its original pattern?
Stretch the fabric as many times necessary until the pulled thread is released , even if is not stretchy fabric. I just did on a pair of suit pants that had snags because of a dog.
Hey maybe you can help me. I have a satin dress and i was wearing it with a rhinestone belt. After my night out i realized like many little holes from the belt on my dress. Can i fix this ? 😕
What do you do if you can’t access the opposite side of the fabric? My comforter has dozens of snags but I cannot access the opposite side of the fabric without cutting the comforter open. Any suggestions?
If you're still struggling with snags that seem unfixable try using a slim, blunt tool, like an awl and push those threads to the back so they will at least not continue to get pulled on and creating a bigger problem.
please help. I bought a very expensive comforter and my cats ruined it with snags. I live in Redondo Beach. How can I find someone to fix it. I saved for a year to guy this comforter and would be so grateful to find someone to fix it for me. Thanks so much.
Thank you! That tip saved a brand new fine knit jumper!

This tip just saved my vintage Chanel dress. Thank you!
THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR THIS! Just fixed a brand new item which arrived with a snag!
That is really helpful. I have lost some pretty, fine scarves to snagging but now know what to do. Thank you.
Thank you so much for this! I thought I had just ruined a brand new set of pajamas and you're a life saver. Thank you! :)
Thank you for this tip! I was about to repipe an entire comforter, but fixing the snags themselves is much easier (not to mention more affordable!)
I recently had a kitten cling on to my new pants several times, I need to try this on them, thank youuu!

yes, it is now on the inside with less chance of it getting worse.
Thanks!!
Worked perfectly after cat attack on pants. Thanks!
SPEACHLESS... thank you so muchhhhh, you saved me lots of money.
can i use this technique on sating pyjamas as well? or would it still be too big for it?
Hmm, that pulls the snag to the wrong side, but what about the thread run created by the thread pull?
Sometimes, depending on the fabric, you can work the thread back into its original position. This can be difficult and time consuming
@@Threads any tutorial on this ?
@@axllebg No, I don't believe we have a tutorial on this.
Thank you! This saved a new skirt of mine I snagged on the first wear.
Brilliant!
Would this work on a shoe lace?
Thank you for postinggg. This is a lifesaver
Worked perfectly
This is brilliant, thank you!!
Genius!
How do I fix it if it has created a pulled thread?

Great idea!
Cat kinda got my dresspants as she was kneading on it, thanks.
Awesome
thank you so much I just saved my sister's life lol
How would one fix a snag on the front of a bra, where you can’t directly access the other side of the fabric? Thanks!
So cool!

What if the garment is reversible?
It's a fine knit top (new) and it's like pulled in so it's not flat on outside and looks wrong 😢

Am I the only one where, now the snagged thread is pulled to the wrong side, but I’m unable to extricate it from the needle threader????
Thank you!!!
