Thanks for the video. I have a Samsung soundbar which uses a similar remote and the batteries leaked acid inside. I was able to pry it open and fix it thanks to your video.
Just did all this. I used rubbing alcohol, cotton buds and even a bowl of soapy water for the plastic and rubber parts. The Left/Back button works fine now. My kids uses this remote and it was "oily" on the circuit board contacts. Works as new.

So. What exactly were you doing regarding fixing the back button ? Not clear. I have this problem and I am curious if your fix worked.

The camera work sucks. You can't even see what the person is doing to disassemble it half the time.
