Years ago, I recall a wise young person telling me that the word EGO is really an acronym which means "easing goodness out." I've never forgotten this statement and, now at 78 with a beginner's mind, I continue to learn through this wonderful podcast the value and embodied necessity of humility----and I am grateful!👍

This podcast has particular resonance for me as I was recently at Plum Village where I was fortunate to meet Brother Huu a few times. I would not have expected that the Parkinson's disease that I deal with, and the anxiety that comes with that as a symptom, would call me to respond with a recognition that it is humility that I must cultivate in relation to both my physical and my spiritual well being.
