  • Here's the fourth chapter in my series of Onshape tutorials. Today we are looking at how mate offsets work and how to get the desired result on the first try!
I've decided to start doing some Onshape tutorials as there are too many out there that aren't as good as they should be or don't go into enough details and I want to try to do better! I intend to focus on specific areas and will try to pick topics that I don't think are covered well enough either in the Onshape training or other tutorials I have seen online.
This is intended to be a series and I hope to get better at it over time, so feel free to leave your feedback in the comments!
Note that I assume that you are already somewhat familiar with Onshape and I won't go over the very basics. If you haven't already done so, make sure to go through the self paced course in the Onshape training center as they are well worth the effort even if you have experience with other 3D CAD. At the very least, go through the Onshape fundamentals learning pathway!
If you are looking for good Onshape content, make sure to check out @TooTallToby 's excellent series available on the @OnshapeInc official channel under the "SOLIDWORKS Expert Learns Onshape (Series)" playlist!
