Recovery program is taking away the history of Canadian coins. As a kid I learned a lot of history and dates re events from coins. Whoever bright idea doing this didn’t think or care about this. I would like to see the books re the cost of doing this re equipment, labour etc. etc. to see what the actual overall profit is. No caring for Canadian history.

its getting harder with the alloy recover program i have a1991 i bought in Calgary in 1991 or92at a sear coin department for7.00 i believe its unc condtion and a few 2001 no-p bought in b.u condition and some in my change

Unfortunately I have never seen a quarter older than 1962 in my pocket change. I'm convinced the government has been recalling them because of their silver content.
