The only reason i know of this game is because of one image of one character, and that sold me enough to give it a chance 🐀 Should've watched like a minute in, and its Niko. Thats how little I know, yet am curious about.
@@toastercannibalism188 it doesn't take a long time to complete it, nor are there many achievements but the experience is very unique. The ost is great and sets the right moods. I highly recommend giving it a try. I don't like puzzle games but this game is one of my favorites of all time.
This game is THE perfect example of how passion creates a great experience, not budget or insane game development skills. I'd recommend this game over a vast majority of AAA games.
As someone who has done everything you can in OneShot, I’m so excited to see other people playing such a wonderful game. I will admit, yeah PC feels like the best experience, but I like the nice backgrounds and other stuff that come with the fake desktop! I’d say it’s a nice trade-off!
@@breadbybread Yes, if you have access to a pc or laptop that would be the preferable way to play though. Its's kind of like Undertale as in 4th wall breaking, but it has no battle system. Still an amazing game through and through.

I played this game back when the solstice update wasn't even available yet. It's such a hidden gem and more people need to experience it. I'm glad it's coming to switch. It's a good buy for anyone looking to play a new game.

Hi, if you are watching this trailer now unsure of what Oneshot is or if you should play it, heed my advice. This is a must-play. This is one of the best video game experiences I've ever had and it's truly a once in a lifetime kind of game. If you have not played this game, I'm begging you to give it a try.
Don't beg like it's going to kill you if no one plays it because not many people like this type of game. I've seen a "Vtuber" play this before but she got bored later on and she skips many dialogue. Not many people enjoy story driven puzzle games like Oneshot. Not like Undertale that has enjoyable gameplay. So let's just enjoy the game without worrying it not being popular.

Wow, this really is it's own seperate edition. It looks like they'll be working the console into the narrative rather than just making a fake desktop and calling it a day. The new additions (like the wallpapers and bios) might even make this the definitive version of Oneshot.

I remember playing this back in August 2021, and it became one of my all-time favorites. Would erase my memory to replay this. For the best experience, don't look for anything about this game on the internet. It's best experienced on PC, although if you want to break the immersion and get this version first it's still a great game.
I discovered this game back in October of last year. Within just a few weeks of playing and finishing it, it became my second favorite game of all time. Everything about it is immensely well done. I have _never_ had a game get me so attached to a character as Niko. I've been waiting for the console release since it got announced back in December.
Wow crazy to see Oneshot getting a re-release and on console too! I remember playing this forever ago when it first released, it was always one of my favorite RPGmaker style games. Huge congratz to Night for this!

This was fun. I'm really glad the Switch userbase is getting this deep cut. It's very cute, but also melancholy and unsettling enough to stimulate the mind without throwing horror and jumpscares at you and the pixel art for the scenery is top of the heap when it comes to the last decade of indie games.
This is one of my favourite games, it has incredible meta aspects and some very loveable characters! I cannot wait to replay it and cry all over again the way I did with the PC version :')
I know I'm just echoing other people here, but OneShot is by far one of my favorite games ever, I've never gotten so attached to a character as I have with Niko, and I truly enjoy that the game is getting such a polished treatment. Everyone should take a shot at this narrative.

Omg I love this, it's like DDLC+! It takes the meta elements of Oneshot and alters them for a console-friendly experience, while also adding a few extra features "outside" of the game.
I am *so* getting this game once it comes out on Switch. It's one of vanishingly few games I've played that made me feel emotions. It was my Undertale.

I played this game for the first time about a week ago, and seriously, it’s one of the best games I’ve ever played. I’m absolutely stunned how a game this good has gone unnoticed for so many years. I’d definitely recommend playing this on the pc first though, because it’s such an incredible experience on a desktop.
I'd recommend playing it on PC for certain reasons I don't want to spoil, and you won't need a powerful PC to do so (my laptop can hardly run Minecraft but it runs OneShot perfectly fine), but if that isn't an option at all then the Switch version seems like a fine enough version of an amazing game.

It's pretty cool how OneShot was successfully ported over to the Nintendo Switch. Knowing that they made a whole "OS" for the port, it might as well work for every platform. Pretty neat!
okay, so two things that i'm really noticing here, aside from the whole desktop thing: 1) stick control and diagonal movement?? 2) SOLSTICE TIMER??? Edit: upon rewatching, I have noticed that: a) the solstice timer is counting UP, not down? b) the solstice trio is also there?? what??
I remember playing this back on 2017. Really nice game. It's more storytelling rather than you battle with enemy from what I can remember. More solving the puzzle

Not only did they add a fake desktop to make the game playable on console, but they also added in character bios for all the characters too. I am so glad that the game is accessible to even more people now.

This game was out in 2016 and it's a masterpiece and will always be, trust me, i still play the game on Steam. It changed my life, you will see soon what i mean by that.

the fact they managed to incorporate the aspect of finding or changing files on your machine into a switch through a mini virtual machine. amazing.
Was a little sad about no Silksong, but this announcement more than made up for it

Okay so ive seen this charecter before but i know 0 about this game but the first 7 comments ive read so far tell me to watch nothing about this game which means its on omori/undertale ranks so im excited to get this
I hope the desktop puzzles and meta stuff lives up to how cool it is on an actual computer
This game will take your heart, rip it into a million shreds, and put it back together. Definitely worth the playthrough
i saw a silent playthrough of this in January 2021 and I highly suggest it!

The clock at 1:26 originally counted down the days before the solstice ending was added real time, perhaps that means that the game is gonna release 83 days from now, on august 2nd give or take cause I am not accounting for the extra hours, just the amount of days

This game was out in 2016 and it's a masterpiece and will always be, trust me, i still play the game on Steam. It changed my life, you will see soon what i mean by that.

i played this game on pc a couple years ago and i cant reccomend it enough, its incredible that a game like this got ported to switch and i think everybody should play it
