I think the level break for Ground Zero should be 14 - i.e. when you get the Flea, you get the big boy version of the map

All of us had to deal with the learning curve. I dont understand why every game needs to be child proofed. This is tarkov, not sbmm cod. Let the new players get destroyed like we did. It actually has the opposite effect, you get dunked on by chads repeatedly, develop a power fantasy, and then become determined to be the chad you once hated.
This is tarkov not teletubbies, yall need to get a fucking grip. New players SHOULD be frustrated and discouraged. I gave up on this game 3 times across 3 wipes before finally getting max traders and becoming the filthy rich chad i used to hate.
USEC checkpoint is the place on the road called checkpoint. Near sawmill with the black SUV that spawns violet card.

It can also be that if your Scav level is above 20 then you also can be on the "higher" lvl GZ map.
I think they simply put you into the next best lobby with available scav slots

This patch is huge! Pretty rad from BSG and some really nice QOL changes, PLUS finally making it possible to report from the profile (whether that turns out to be good, or bad because of mass targeted reporting) I guess we'll see!

Anything above a 25 kd should be reported on sight. BSG has to verify before banning, they arent just going to ban because an account has high stats or high reports. Legitimate players, even the best of the best, will not be banned. Streamer hardcore alt accts etc will be perfectly safe, there needs to be hard proof of cheating in raid reviewed by an employee which is why it has been so difficult to make headway. BSG will not have the bandwith to review everyone quickly so i expect the ban waves will be slowly ramping up, rather than a windfall overnight.

I think they should make the seasons change much quicker year round similar to how the time moves much faster in tarkov. I think 4 months of one season is too long so having a more rapid change maybe like cycle every 2-3 weeks from winter --> spring ---> autumn etc. wouldn't it be so cool to see like fall foliage all over the place and things are all orange and then like next week its snowing
Nice one buddy. The skills have changed in the skills tab too. Memory skill gone and the library unlock changed and I'm glad about that too :);
I think playing as scav being independent of level just means itll put you in the first raid it finds, so later in the wipe itll put you in the higher level more as a scav since more PMCs are playing it.
Usec checkpoint is between the big rock that looks over scav house and sawmill.
Agreed on the level 15 thing. I haven't played in a while, but even back then, the jump in what you're able to do once you've got Flea Market access is pretty massive.
usec checkpoint is the checkpoint along the road to outskirts, near the cult circle.
The USEC checkpoint is where the black van is that can spawn the violet card.

Scav matchmaking on Ground Zero probably just means you can go into either queue and likely just takes the first lobby available on your servers

Just played on reserve was weird, horrid and I didn’t like it. Was very noisy, and inside a building near an opening, ie. Window/door or hole it sound windy inside, as you would expect as you move away it lessens and then disappears. I feel like this will play to the advantage of pmcs not in the
the noise area as they’ll sure have better situational awareness from the sound.
We’ll see if it gets better.

@@logangottlieb2814 pass, only had a short time so it was a scav raid I did, no one around the building didn’t hear any shots, and the building I was in had no windows left 😂
Now they just need to add the ability to sort your stash while loading into a raid. Why we can't do that already is a mystery.

They should add raiders to Ground Zero higher level lobbies! Also looking forward to another npc faction like peacekeepers to add more to the combat encounters
Adding raiders/rouges would be AWESOME, like some kind of AI PMC faction maybe.

What would be REALLY REALLY cool is if they made the BTR travel the entirety of Tarkov where possible and than have it so we could utilize it for map to map travel. Now that would be cool. It could also be an optional extraction method as well but perhaps really expensive.
You would still have to load out and load back in to maps but maybe have the stipulation that BTR map entries would only be into existing raids, so your would essentially be scaving into existing raids but as your PMC. This would create a whole new dynamic to raiding and essentially make Tarkov open world without making Tarkov open world.
What do you all think?
This is an epic QoL patch. I hope interchange is playable again with the lighting fix.
Wouldn’t be surprised if bsg reverted the lighting back to what it was (super dark and turning interchange into a useless unplayable map) but I haven’t played the update yet. But if we thought the lighting was better they most likely ruined it.

I shot a player 16 times with 56a1 last night. Needless to say I stopped playing last night after that cunt killed me and walked away from that fight. So lame. When I use canted sights I’ve surely never tanked 15 bullets or more.
I’m happy to see GZ is back as PMC so I can do many more offline raids😂
The jump in version number likely means they combined a few minor patches. It's called "semver" but it's pretty much artificial, this could have been 14.2

i did a scav run on ground zero and i was in the higher level matching and im lvl 18

lvl 20 is perfect bc you level from 15 to 20 really quick, and it gives the lower level players access to juicy kits which keeps it feeling liKe tarkov
How do you stash loot in it? I can't even look in the thing's direction without it shooting me

As a Woods mains, Im not too sure about the BTR, specially on the Northern region like Sunken Village and Scav Bunker. Not sure mixing the BTR with possible Cultists / Rogues is a good idea.

I spawned into ground zero lvl 5 and spawned with a team of 4 ai scavs who proceeded to headshot me after 3 seconds of spawning in can they fix that pls

Ground zero will now be sweaty. I made $20MM in 8 hours there this past weekend scaving. People will camp the exits to get their PMC kill tasks completed.

yeah SBIH basically requires you to stockpile bolt action rifles like there's no tomorrow and take one with you into every raid. You always have to take your bolty whenever you engage in pvp - no matter the risk

@@Squee7eI've been having a decent time grinding ASHBY so far with night raids admittely on the best ASHBY maps (shore, customs, lighthouse). Just do it if you want a change in playstyle and it's enjoyable

the snow should always be in the game from Nov 01- March 31
Snow was a nice novelty but that wore off after the first few weeks. Especially with how bright the snow is despite wearing goggles or glasses to eliminate this. Plus, the sounds of the snow are unbearably loud. Even after the update is was annoying to run or walk on snow. It’s neat for a month or two on and off but not a whole 5 months. That’s just absurd.
realy dislike changing existing quests/ vendorlevels of items after the start of wipe other than that wasnt expecting the btr but woods is the worst map for it imo because xray vision/ aim for an long range Ai on a kinda open map is not realy the play

I honestly think sound should be more prominent but at lower range, so you can hear people even when they're completely idle and hear people clearly when they are moving and vice-versa. If both camps have info, both camps MUST use the info to act, you can't just camp it out, and if it's lower range, people can still run away if necessary while pursuers will be wary if they lose someone's tracks.
What I'm saying is that the sound pop should be integrated in the gameplay, but not as a "sound pop", just queues, like how you can know it's a scav near you by the constant shuffling.

@@mjay6245 The Audio is way to low... it has to be increased by 100 or i would even say 200%. Right now, no ones moving at all cause they are scared to get into an ambush where they have no chance to backup or have a Plan B. Steam Audio was way louder and more fun to use it to your advantage or work with it for a Fight. The Audio right now is crap.

But why though? The Guide is actually a challenging quest that breaks the mold of "Fetch X / Kill X Y times / Mark X" that you are presented with over and over and over again.

@@thrombocyte2054 Don't know but I'd personally rather do a quest like Psycho Sniper twice instead of the guide, it's just way more fun to me, besides psycho sniper actually has more to do with knowing how to fight and all that stuff when for the Guide you need to have good luck with cheaters and know how to sneak around or wait 40 minutes on every map idk
