One of my favorite covers of a Twice song so far. fromis_9 really captured the essence of Twice by being energetic and fun rather then trying to be "cute". What really bothers me about groups covering Twice is that they overdo the cutesy thing, because while Twice are cute, they are often more energetic and upbeat then they are cutesy. It's a very fine balance which is what keeps Twice's songs and Twice as performers from being cringy and makes it seem natural. Twice also have a combination of people singing in a cutesy style (for example Momo and Sana), smooth soft voices (for example Mina) and broader voices (for example Jeongyeon and Jihyo) which also creates a nice balance which often gets lost in covers as the groups focus on the "cute" thing. I love fromis_9 so I am biased, but as someone who has been a Once since pre-debut and pre-fandom name (since Sixteen) I honestly think fromis_9 captured that balance and essence the best out of any cover I have seen.
