The £64,000 question on tonight's Who Wants to Be a Millionaire was based on this painting and I wouldn't have known if I hadn't seen your excellent video. I didn't win the money, obviously, cos I was watching it at home but I was very happy to know the answer. If I'd been on the tele, I would definitely have referenced your excellent RUclips series. Cheers Marek
Having been through art school 30 years ago, I can now see the need for a new approach. All hail Marek. I think The Laughing Cavalier is waiting in the wings for your brush....
Appreciated the passion shown toward the background brush! Reckon I could manage to cock the background up let along the rest. “Just suggest a nose”! Sandown High School art dept would be proud of us! Good stuff Marek! 😂👍
These videos are fun, funny, and inspiring. I sorted out my art supplies the other day and discovered I've 150 pencil crayons that I've never used coz I didn't know I had them! And ten different types of tape! I shall have to have a go at these 15 min mediocre masterpieces 😀
That is a treasure trove of crayons. Please send me your efforts via twitter for gallery @mareklarwood . I am going to do Dali's Persistence of Memory on Monday. Stay cool.
Nice vid, I didn't think it looked too bad in the end, looking forward to the scream. Maybe put down a dust sheet under you as you paint, if you've got one.
After the Mona Lisa you obviously lost confidence and went straight for an easy one. Looking at the original it probably only took 10 minutes to knock out. Good try 10/10
It's amazing what you managed to not quite do in 15 minutes, well done.
It's not that amazing honestly.
Thank you for these, Marek! They make me strangely happy!! 😊
Strangely happy is always better than happy. Stay cool.

The real question is how much would you have given me if you had won the £64,000. (I think £20 is acceptable). Stay cool.
Beautiful Marek, like a handsome replacement for Bob Ross :)
I have only just discovered Bob Ross off the back of this. He's very soothing.
@@marekl amazing
I love this.
Thanks dude. It gives me something to do all day and most of the night. Ha.
Masterpiece! Would love to see you give The Conjurer by Hieronymus Bosch a go!
Excellent recommendation. My favourite part of this is all the recommendations.
These are great. More

Laughing Cavalier is a good shout.
Great idea!
Jeeezzz I'd love to have your painting skills, let alone the storytelling skills 😆
Now is your time! Bob Ross for the modern (chaos) age.
I must get round to watching Bob Ross. Stay cool.
Thank you Marek, I'm in lockdown at the moment, and you, sir, are a funny. bugger. Lots of love, stay safe xxx
Thanks dude. Take care and stay cool. x

Thanks George. I never did GCSE art, but I reckon I could have got an 'A' in about 20 minutes.

Absolutely loving this series
Thanks dude. Share to all of your friends and acquaintances, but from two metres away.
Suggestion: Goya's "Saturn Devouring his Son"
It is so bleak though Ezra.
@@marekl You could give it a cheerful twist though I'm sure.

nice work mam keep doing
Thanks. Did you mean 'man' or 'Mum'. I am happy with either.

Good idea Tor.
Keep up the good videos Marek! Been a fan since the impractical jokers days many years ago, love this painting series too!
Thanks Connor. Stay cool.
Thank you for these Marek, this is helping my sanity (For some reason I'll work out later...)
Thanks dude. Stay sane.
Has anyone pointed out that you made the jacket of the old bald guy almost the same blue as your top in the video?
You are the first person to point it out cool dude.
Looks hell of a lot better than my bull 💩
This is truly An A Marek An Gothic. In Gaelic I guess.
Have you tried Twitch for your art? There's a section for "Creatives", might be fun and worth your time.
Will look into it. There are so many platforms it takes about a day uploading something to them all. Stay cool.
The viewers' gallery at the end, anyone else hear the VisionOn/Take Hart vibraphone music?
It is in honour of Tony Hart. I loved the gallery.
These videos are very good. I'm looking forward to more.
Do Madonna by Anne Redpath, please.
I've not seen that before. Nice painting.
Someone's probably suggested this, but you could do Magritte's The Son of Man 🍎
It is under consideration. Stay cool.
I'm sorry I have no head right? This is the guy, i know
Well, slap my arse and call me rita! Its uncanny!
You can't slap arses in 2020.
Damn political correctness.
This is almost as good (bad) as The Poke's - "The 12 Sandwiches Of Christmas"

Easy!?! You try and do roofing.
