That’s freaking cool! I knew this phone since i have worked in the telecommunication industry for almost 10 years. I had all the fancy-smancy and rare phones at that time. I kept changing them very often. Once i had a collection that made it possible to use different phones on each day. I wanted that phone but my service technician buddies told not to buy due to the failing flip motor. This model wasn’t avaliable in Hungary so it was a grey market phone and as such it was difficult to get parts for them. I also knew about another samsung phone what is had an automatic antenna. Eventually i ended up buying the world smallest samsung phone A-800. The girls went crazy for it when they saw me taking out from my pocket.😅 Even if it had no color display. It was a great phone but i sold it after 2 years and had an e720. I used it for 3 years as i already lost interests for cell phones. After that i had the iphone 2g 8gb and ever since i using only iphones.
11:40 (badinerie) is possibly the classic among the classics, the one that more or less every known phone manufacturer back then has tried at least once. And this rendition here is easily among the best, well helped by the very solid bass of the FM chip. Though it can become a problem, like in the case of the SGH-A800 version in which it drowns the melody. Too bad it isn't as complete as the famous monophonic version from Nokia, but it still put LG's attempts to shame, including LG using SMAF.
