"Batten Down the Hatches" is an old navy term used on wooden sailing ships to use narrow strips of wood called Batten Boards nailed over the edges of canvas covering the hatches in preparing for severe weather conditions.
Anyone who speaks more than one language definitely gets a pass on idioms. But I'm guessing some yacht makers are now implementing buttons on hatches to honor this channel's reach and influence. :)
Personally, I love the dark woods. They immediately make me feel relaxed and like I’m on a yacht, not in some house/condo/hotel. The woodwork in this “little ship” is just gorgeous. Assuming it’s done in house, they have some great carpenters. Our family home had the same wood for feature walls here and there.
I’ve never seen a Nordhavn interior that wasn’t finished in beautiful dark woods, a yacht tradition. To my taste, the Nordhavn interior finishes are the best I’ve seen. I would never choose anything different. I’ve seen some rooms where walls were finished with wood from the floor to waist height and the rest up to the ceiling was a lighter colour textured finish. I like that as well.
I guess actually sailing across seas to world destinations would be the way I’d like to live aboard the most. So these and the Berings are great to check out.
I love watching your entertaining vessel walk throughs. I have been in the maritine industry just about all of my life. Mainly like the engine room scenes. During my Navy days I was an engineer. Later I crewed on a 300 ft NOAA research ship as an unlicensed engineer which had four diesel electric Fairbanks Morse apposed piston engines and aux. (3). Finally I retired from the Washington State Ferries again as an engineer. Worked all 21 or the vessels with locomotive 16 - 278 EMD's to 16 - 645 EMD but the last vessel was just a small 40 car capacity and we had two 6 cylinder 850 hp Wartsilla. I noticed in your larger engine room showings that diesel centrifuges by Alpha Laval are used. They are a real savor if for some reason in some countries we ended up with some really dirty fuel. Thank you again. Brings back the days as a kid my parents had Tollycraft and Chris Craft cabin crusiers...... No Showers and no black warer tanks required then. Just basic FUN boats and we cruised the inside passage in British Columbia and favorite was going to Princess Louisa Inlet.
This seems like an incredibly well thought out layout for an owner operator who might occasionally bring in crew. Lot's of places that could work perfectly well for either an owner/operator OR for crew. I still think I would prefer a bering, but I wouldn't be upset with this by any stretch. A great yacht!
This yacht is a perfect combination of owner operator, live aboard, long range cruise. I agree about the color of the ceiling causing a glare In the pilot house. Black or a white that turns dark as the light hits it.
Thanks for bringing us this look of the Nordhavn 80. What a lovely boat. Just my 2¢, button down the hatches is actually: "batten down the hatches." This comes from old time cargo ships with cargo holds that have covers. During stormy times these hatches would be covered with tarpaulins and tied down to prevent losing the hatch covers. Losing a hatch cover during a storm would result in the loss of the ship. The other term is to Dog down the hatches. This is a US Navy term. Smaller hatches for personnel movement onboard Navy ships have "Dogs" that are in addition to the normal latches. Dogging a hatch will make it as watertight as the rest of the bulkhead or deck. Nordhavn provides main deck doors to be "Dogged Down" in the event of extreme weather. Thanks again for the video, you made the N80 review a lot of fun.
I think this would have to be my favorite of all the vessels you have shown. The layout appears to be very well thought out. And it has some very nice adaptations and accommodations that would gravitate toward an older owner. I especially like the separation between the main living areas, the guest quarters and the crew quarters. Extremely logical layout that is definitely geared toward functionality and easy access. This vessel appears to have been impeccably maintained. Thank you for doing such a good job in showing it. Your curiosity and the comments you make during your explanations make your presentations very personal and constructively practical. Very well done guys, and again, thank you so very kindly. Bruce😊
This might be my favorite yacht so far. The owner and I are almost on the same wavelength. Needs room for a 2nd crew. Put a tub in the master's suite and it'd be perfect.
This is one beautiful creation. If I was going to live aboard a boat, this would be it. Thank you guys for all your hard work bringing these to us.🖖👌✌👍
Have you seen the Bering 77? It seemed even more solid. What's really special about them is the weight is not an issue - it makes them more stable. Both absolutely incredible boats
Victoria. I totally agree with your last comment of the outtakes. You are fabulous. And that Rico guy is pretty cool, too. Thanks for creating these videos for us.
I love how this is instantly recognizable as a Nordhavn, from the exterior design to the layout and interior design. It’s probably not to everyone’s taste (I love it!), but they are always true to their origins. Thanks for an amazing tour Victoria and Rico 💙
What a magnificent ship, it would be a tough decision Nordhavn or Fleming then I really adore the classic lines of a Fleming perhaps you can show 78 or 85 Fleming. Love your big yacht reviews so we all can sit sigh and dream a little, thanks for another amazing review.
Love Nordhavn yachts :) Looking forward to see the boat :) Funfact! Nordhavn is a small area/dock in Copenhagen Denmark, it even has a small trainstation there :) Greetings from Denmark
So the one thing that prevents Victoria's opening every storage hook an crany : THE RAIN ! Victoria : let's go quickly Rico : Shows the diesel fill, the anchor locker, the first wing station and then the second wing station. Business as usual :-)
This is my absolute favorite style of boat. Not that I ever will, but I dream of months at Sea going to Alaska for whale watching and the Pacific islands. In my mind I’m comparing this one to the Bearing 77 and there are details I love about both boats. However that being said my preference is still The Bearing 77 because of the greater range, steel hull and the bridge is amazing. I know nothing about a composite construction but I would more comfortable with a steel hull
Excellent as always. You two are delightful, entertaining and knowledgeable. A great team producing excellent videos. I toured new NORDHAVNs a few years ago at Dana Point. This one is truly very creative and well fitted out. Thanks again.
Loved the tour, I'm really beginning to take a shine to these explorer type yachts. Speaking of taking a shine, my youngest cat "Jellybean" has become addicted to Nautistyles! As soon as she hears Victoria's voice she runs and jumps on the tv stand and watches the video from about an inch away! It's kind of cute but when I'm trying to have a coffee and daydream about leaving the Canadian prairies for a life on the high seas and all I see is a small cat, it kind of deflates the illusion. Keep up the wonderful tours and if a Jay Benford 55 ever comes along please try and get aboard for a review! There was one called Teddi Bear in Victoria British Columbia a few years ago, but it was sold to someone in California. Really unique layout on a medium size yacht, but it makes sense and is gorgeous!! Cheers!!
I like that the flybridge is farther forward than a lot of boats I've been seeing. I'd want to as far forward as it'll go so it feels like it's flying above the water. It also makes more deck space behind it.
OUTSTANDING !! as always you two. What an impressive team also great editing Victoria. Thank you so much for sharing. A great Yacht to reside on. This is a very smart build. Victoria is as funny and professional at the same time. Love the outtakes. Victoria you are so really fabulous as always.
Very impressive.... Two John Deere engine's. I also like the single person elevator, although not big enough for a wheelchair, good enough for elder's with walkers and crutches. The grill and hot tub on top deck is convenient. Along with electrical pulley on second deck for heavy toys. Very spacious inside and out. Beautiful woodwork, granite and marble throughout the yacht.
Awesome video guys. I really loved this vessel and was worried it might make my final choice confusing (between this and the Bering B80) However, after seeing the specs, the B80 is still for me. Don't get me wrong, this is still an amazing vessel. Thanks for the continued quality of your output.
A little about that elevator, it’s pneumatic powered and free standing so you can put it pretty much anywhere ( no elevator shaft required). Because it’s air powered it can never get stuck, if it loses air pressure it just slowly goes back to the lowest level. I recently toured a home that has a 2 person 3 story version of that elevator.
I actually toured this boat at FLIBS. First time I’ve seen one of your videos of a yacht I’ve toured. You did a great job, as usual, showing me things I didn’t notice on my quick walk-through.
Thank you so much for walk around. That crane on bow really neat, Redundant lift systems. I love the sight gage/ glass FUEL watch tank level system super always working fuel sight system. I like how Captain has quick access to machine spaces. One thing you always miss, is show the ANCHOR control button. Just for people watching who wonder how they operate them. You my dear, Love your energy, how happy you are showing off these great very long distance wonderful built vessel ( I call it a ship) Again thank you so much for what you do. The 3 heads on each deck all I can say is A+ WOW.
I believe it would be awesome for you both to do a sit down video, talking about Bering Yachts vs. Nordhavn Yacht. To me, they're both the best for every day people, to travel the world. You too have been on both of their flagship yachts (B77 & N80). I'm biased towards the builder in Turkey, but I believe that two people who have physically been on their vessels, would make for an amazing Q&A (maybe RUclips Live) video.
Love watching your channel I have learned so much about yachts from you both. So how do you think this yacht compares to the Bering 77 you toured in regards to build quality and longevity? I wish you both continued success and look forward to your next yacht tour video.
Thank you so much for watching. Since we were fortunate to visit the Bering Shipyard and really see how those yachts are build and have not had the same opportunity to see the NordHavn shipyard... it would not be fair comparison. But looking at the final product they are both quality build
Nordhavn has a tour of a 68 at the shipyards in TaShing, Taiwan. Not a complete tour. They do their design in California and their building in Taiwan/China. The new N41 is built in Turkey. Probably close to the Bering Ship Yards. I don't think you can go wrong with either boat. To get one new, you are looking at probably the same build time.
Well guys what a great review. Also the count Down editing and art work very cool. Looked like a New York aid firm did it. The yacht is so well layed out. Here's what I think they missed. In the deck tie downs for jet ski on the upper deck by the Davit crane. Also in this day and age a beach club fold down with stairs into the water for divers. Also the 3000 NM range seems a bit short. I love the John dear motors. Would ELECTRIC pods with a 360 degree rotation have been a better choice. I'm sure owners pick what they want. Also fly bridge hard top, I would have stuck solar there. And SWAPED the heavey marble showers for lithium batteries bank. Also I would have added a very large exterior freeze chest, with locks. Reason when your salt water fishing and on top of the fish you would want to fill a freezer with fish and not have to bring them inside. Also I love all the docking stations. But a remote, or cabled controller could have free up all that space cut over all weight and cut cost in the build. Video was great, camera work spot on. What a great yacht. In the specks can you add the yachts classification. Up to ice class, ect hull thickness. Any reinforce area up in the bow. Kind of like the yacht all seas has 3 inch steel plates in the hull around the bow.
I've been watching all your videos and love them. It's all vicarious though, because I am not a sailor. But I still really enjoy them and love that you show the crew quarters. I judge how much I would like the owner by how well the crew is treated. Thank you for these.
"I'm pretty fabulous"! Couldn't have said it better myself! You also could have left off the fabulous part and it would still be a true statement! 😍😉 Great boat 🚢 and great video👍! Love the colors inside and out. Nice to see something other than a plain white boat and it's easy on the eyes ( just like Victoria!) when the bright sun is out!
Happy to hear that! it definitely has been one of my goals when creating and editing the videos to make sure everybody could understand where they are at any given time, amazing to hear that I’m accomplishing it 🙏🏻
Thank you for another great tour Victoria and Rico! They are always welcomed weekend entertainment and I learn something new every week. The panel woodworking on the cabinets are incredible, I'd love to know the type of wood if anyone knows.
The latches on the hatches are called "Dogs". Side doors from decks on Nordhavns also are dogged. When deployed, the Captain, or Bosun Would order "Dog that hatch" to lock the dogs, and so make the hatch water tight. Love your vids. Thanks for posting.
I think I'd go for the Bering 77. One of the main reasons would be less regulations on 77ft vs 80ft , if I'm not mistaken, another would be steel vs fiberglass. IDK, I would just feel a lot safer cruising around Alaska with a steel hull - the ice scares me but trees/logs scare me more.
Tried hard to google those regulations, but could't find any "scary" ones ;) which could make you stay below 24 m at all costs. 1. The 24 m is "LLL" (load line length) limitation. It's about 94% of waterline length, so any Nordhavn 86 and below are definilely "below 24m" yachts. Maybe even Nordhavns 96 are "below 24m". ;) 2. Judging by what I found, it may be critical to stay below 24 m OR 200GT, that is not exceed both. The most "scary" requirement is manning, but for yachts >24m LLL but
@@tun7166 Interesting info Timmy, do you know how these rules apply to Cats, the same or do they have different criteria? (I'm into early stage research on these issues, provisional on a lottery win of course)
3000nm range at 9 knots, it's longer if you dial it back a couple knots. But I do agree, I think I prefer the Bering more than the Nordhavn especially due to it having a much longer range. Not that I am in the market for either. I am somewhat curious about the Nordhavn 475 as it will be in our price range when we are looking to upgrade in a few years.
I think it is misleading to compare a Nordhavn to a Bering. The Nordhavn is an Owner Operated boat with crew support - maybe. The Bering is a boat designed to be professionally crewed and is bigger at the same length. This N80 has 1 crew and room for 6. The Bering 80 has room for 10 and a crew of 4. The Bering is a bigger boat and probably used as much for Charter work as private sales. The Nordhavns are pretty much exclusively a privately run boat. As for range - you can double it by dropping one or two knots in speed. It's really drastic.
@@rtbinc2273 I am curious about the workload for that captain on the Nordhavn 80. It's true that it is smaller than the Bering 80, but it still is a lot of boat. If the owners had an elevator installed due to some mobility issues, how much of the routine maintenance are they going to do?
The fuel fill still doesn't have any spill protection. Just a simple piece of fiberglass around the fill to keep any spills from reaching the deck would add alot of value for a minimum of cost. They have been asked time and time again to implement this, but they ignore their customers. Guess that's why companies like Bering are rising, making record number of boats, while Nordhavn is losing momentum and putting out less and less boats.
Nordhavn has never built more boats than they currently have in the build cycle. Cannot build anymore. Still the largest manufacturer by a huge margin in this space. Your comment is incorrect. The facts are that this class of explorer yacht is exploding in popularity so all manufacturers including Bering, which is a very different but also good boat are extremely busy.
Victoria, your energy exhausts me but I love it. You do a great job of pointing out the boat's features. I particularly love your rating scale for showers. Good for 1, 1.5, 2 or more. I like the way you and Rico think. You two would look great on a boat like this. Let's buy some lottery tickets - LOL.
So have been wondering how an owner of this yacht could possibly take care of this boat with only one crew member? Just doesn't seem possible to me. Cleaning the outside at sea would be a few hours, engine planned maintenance at least a few hours, and interior polishing, cleaning, laundry a few more hours a day, then cooking. Doesn't leave many hours to relax. Maybe a weekend yacht but not a long distance cruiser where you would need to stand watches too. Comments?
Have you watched "Aboard Mermaid Monster"? Admittedly it's a Nordhavn 55 but it's 2 adults, two pretty small kids and a dog who live aboard and cruise the eastern seaboard mostly. They manage, although they do look a little worn out after a longer passage.
@@michiganengineer8621 I've watched another channel with a couple living on a 55. The thing is, the 80 has over three times the displacement of the 55. It is that much bigger!
@@seadog6351 Oh I agree, the cleaning especially would take quite a bit longer. But the mechanical checks shouldn't add much if any time over a 55. The trick to the cleaning, at least as far as the interior is concerned, is _never_ let the dirt get too far in front of you. Just do a little each day and you can keep it under control. Hull cleaning on the other hand WOULD be a different story. You'd probably have to dedicate 2 days per month to keeping the hull and decks presentable.
@@UbiquitousTech I don't know the legalities of it, but I would say no. You as the owner would tell your hired captain "Take me to (wherever)". It would then be said captains responsibility to plot out and execute the course. And YOURS as the owner (Admiral perhaps?) to make sure that all of the paperwork and fees are taken care of.
Nice little ship feel with everything one needs to explore the world. That is as long as one has the $$$ to buy, service, run the boat & afford a crew. I love the woodwork throughout & high end appliances & other main plant equipment. Great tour from you both & thanks for all you both do for our dream boats & your candour.🙏👍🇨🇦
She says she 's pretty fabulous...... correct. Great couple that are living their success. Well done! More power to you both. What a beauty ... the boat !
Time to say that I love your videos, and, TBH, as an almost 60 years old man, I am still dreaming of a live aboard , which is (just mentioning the laws and rules) quite difficult in Germany. And, for the moment, way off the amount of money I can afford. But no need to complain, I have an RV, which is my element of freedom. But my little videos about my trips to Norway feel so little compared to your professional work. It looks so easy and effortless, but I know, how challenging it is to create such videos. And so I really appreciate your wonderful videos every time, from a small live aboard "entry level" yacht to some super yachts or intriguing exploration vessels like this one. Seeing myself explore Alaska with some good friends on this ship is a dream worth to dream it. I hope my English is readable. Thank you so much. Greetings from Lüneburg in Germany!
Love it when they have tons of refrigeration and freezer space. Have spent so much on ice and trying to keep perishables in the past Very good design. Maybe not so sleek and minimal but "real world" design.
It is indeed a stunning vessel. Nordhavn were my first love in a long distance cruiser. So beautifully crafted and such clever design. Then you showed me the Bering yachts. It would be a really hard decision, but that sauna might just sway me and the metal hull. But still who knows. Seeing this in person might sway me, if I had the kind of money needed for one. Great tour as ever. Thank you both.
Thank you for the video you guys do a good job your wife is always learning something new. As a retired yacht captain them crew quarters suck they could be an improvement on that engine room is great and yeah I agree with that the white overhead should be dark anyway thank you looking forward to other videos
I've seen a lot of Nordhavn boat videos and I must say, this is the one I would want out of all of them. Of course I'd ask James Knight from Nordhavn to go completely through it before I would buy it. Because he has worked for them for over 20 years, an he is the one that says exactly what he thinks about these boats, from them being good bad or ugly. Overall I really like this boat mainly because of the layout and elevator it has since I'm a disabled veteran. Thank you so much for showing it. Love your videos and keep up the great job.
I'm sorry this one slipped through my radar and I'm only just getting to this one now. WOW, hull number 1. I'll take hulls 2&3 thank you! I know you'll come back and read this Victoria - as you said, thank you! Again with the stripes Victoria...I love them and your styles! Rico, as always, in fashion, with the navy shirts! I love the Out Takes as always. It was sad not to see inside the elevator which I think is a great idea!!! It would certainly be great taking my 91 year old dad out for a sail with his artificial knees. Hydraulic no doubt...I think some of those showers needed two faucets/rainfall heads on them to help share the water around such large cavities. A dive compressor up front would be good with the plumbing back to the stern. Or perhaps the compressor in the engine room with 'storage tanks' (not the actual dive tanks) up front so that filling of dive tanks does NOT need the starting of the compressor each time. That's about the only things I would add. Loved the layout and room on each deck. It's a small shame that one needs to go all the way up to the fly to rinse off in the Jaccuzzi after climbing out of the salt water at the swim platform. Maybe one day someone will solve that problem! A larger swim platform with a sunken Jaccuzzi/plunge pool in the rear of the boat would be great - you could displace some of the crew quarters to achieve that. Who wants crew when you could own and drive this yourself? Nice work guys! Love it.
Being a composite build you could request carbon fiber/kevlar hull for added strength. This boat is over 200,000 lbs lighter than the Bering 80 and will never rust and repairs are a breeze. Nice long range cruiser.
I really enjoy the outtakes!!! What a surprise to have a "Galley" style kitchen on a yacht. That's a design that could become popular on every other boat ever made!!! Love from Vermont
Beautiful yacht ‼️ Certainly more than 2 people could handle....in my opinion. Sooooooo many badges and switches. Love the single person lift. 👍🏻 Certainly a go anywhere boat. Thanks guys. ✌🏻️
It is allways pure joy to watch your yacht and superyacht tours where every minute your own passion is to see and to feel. I am fascinated in yachts and superyachts since nearby 30 years and my first designer i knew was jon bannenberg. Your videos are allways very impresive and entertaining after a hard work day. Please keep on filming and producing in your passionated style.
At last a BBQ that has room for more than one " American Porterhouse Steak" ! Beautiful Woodwork ! The owner did a great job in picking out colors. The showers need rainfall fixtures. Pull Out drawers are awesome - all cabinets need them. Aircon units accessible - N120 was torn up on those by Steve D'Antonio. Nice to have a place in the Galley to sit down - very nice touch. More room on the fly for those " American Porterhouse Steaks" ! To me, this is Nordhavn's sweet spot as far as size 75-80 is their best size.
One thing you didn't mention is the wood doors on this boat are beautiful. The manufacturer created the veneer center panels so that the grain reflects in the middle so it looks like a tree is growing in the center of each door. Nice.
We are back with another PREMIERE, so looking forward to seeing all our NAUTI people in the Live Chat in the morning!

Awesome, excited to show you guys!
If you like long range yachts check out our explorer yacht series
I love the interior of this boat. The owner clearly built it for themself, not to impress others. That’s the essence of cool.
I like the interior as well with the classic cozy woodwork instead of the modern sterile Ikea look that most new boats have.
It's batten down.. generally. Love this boat spent a summer on a 60 ft model once. You guys do a great job reviewing these vessels on the fly.

Funfact! Nordhavn is a small area/dock in Copenhagen Denmark, it even has a small trainstation there :)
Greetings from Denmark
Thanks for watching!
I always pronounce Nordhavn the Danish way in my head.
So the one thing that prevents Victoria's opening every storage hook an crany : THE RAIN !
Victoria : let's go quickly
Rico : Shows the diesel fill, the anchor locker, the first wing station and then the second wing station. Business as usual :-)
I was wearing one of my fav hats 👒🤷♀️😝🤣🤦♀️
I love your dress. You don't have the style. You are the style !
Fantastic vessel. I have a 95 year old mom and the elevator would give her so much freedom and mobility! Day heads, galley, amazing!
awww thank you…sooo happy to hear
Excellent as always. You two are delightful, entertaining and knowledgeable. A great team producing excellent videos. I toured new NORDHAVNs a few years ago at Dana Point. This one is truly very creative and well fitted out. Thanks again.
thank you so much for watching and for your positive feedback
Nordhavn 80 is absolute perfection
😝🙏🏻 thank you kindly 😁
Very impressive.... Two John Deere engine's. I also like the single person elevator, although not big enough for a wheelchair, good enough for elder's with walkers and crutches. The grill and hot tub on top deck is convenient. Along with electrical pulley on second deck for heavy toys. Very spacious inside and out. Beautiful woodwork, granite and marble throughout the yacht.
Hahahahha😌
I know right
Hope you are having a blessed day there?
Very cool!
Victoria....you are so right on the last words you said in the outtakes.....LOL
According to my extensive research watching Bugs Bunny and Yosemite Sam; it is "batten" down the hatches.
Lovely tour as usual.
You my dear, Love your energy, how happy you are showing off these great very long distance wonderful built vessel ( I call it a ship)
Again thank you so much for what you do.
The real question is steel/aluminum vs composite.
Can't imagine what it must be like to go on holiday on a ship like this never mind own it. Stunning!
@@NautiStyles Thank you for the reply. All the best to you both.
@@NautiStyles Very diplomatic reply!
🤷🏼♀️ 😝
How could U MISS ur FAVOURITE thing, the DAY HEAD ?? Beautifull Yacht, high quality and ofcourse NORDHAVN !!!
😝🙈🙏🏻 oh wow thank you so much
What a Beautiful Yacht, I love the flow of your videos, I do not feel lost as to where you are in the yacht. Thank you.
Whatever you want, chestnut, and walnut are very popular
african cherry
Insane perfect owner operator size , elevator and hot tub makes it 5 star dang
Been looking forward to this review...absolutely love Nordhaven boats.
Glad we could deliver!
One of the main reasons would be less regulations on 77ft vs 80ft , if I'm not mistaken,
another would be steel vs fiberglass. IDK, I would just feel a lot safer cruising around Alaska with a steel hull - the ice scares me but trees/logs scare me more.
fair enough
Tried hard to google those regulations, but could't find any "scary" ones ;) which could make you stay below 24 m at all costs.
1. The 24 m is "LLL" (load line length) limitation. It's about 94% of waterline length, so any Nordhavn 86 and below are definilely "below 24m" yachts. Maybe even Nordhavns 96 are "below 24m". ;)
@@marifaceawl7192 As far as I know, cats are absolutely the same. Beam length doesn’t count
Love how tidy it’s kept amongst the round the world capabilities crammed into it.
Another great tour as always. But a "Long range cruiser" with only 3000nm range? Would take a Bering B80 over this one without question.
The under 65 foot Nordhavns are fine, but they just can't compete with Bering when they get into the size range of this boat.
Ohhhh, thanks for pointing out the limited range, I missed that! Then, it's a matter of a Bering vs this one with larger fuel capacity, in my mind.
Thank you Victoria and Rico for a great tour. Always fun.
Our pleasure!
Lovely yacht! What is the price of this excellent yacht? I’m torn between this or the Bering yachts, which is your favourite ?
The tours are always more interesting when Victoria is extra sassy! She had it working here!
Been waiting to see this boat for ages, so glad you guys gave us the tour, I’ve been really enjoying your videos!
Our pleasure! Moore to come!
I love the thought of just cruising and exploring.
Pretty cool boat - but the Bering is still my fav!
Thanks for watching
Guys you are amazing, thank you
yeay, thank you
The fuel fill still doesn't have any spill protection.
So, it is owner/operator with a professional GT200 skipper?
Victoria & Rico thanks for this tour. NORDHAVN 80! Very cool expedition yacht long range cruiser.
Oh I cannot wait to see Victoria again
Nice little ship feel with everything one needs to explore the world. That is as long as one has the $$$ to buy, service, run the boat & afford a crew. I love the woodwork throughout & high end appliances & other main plant equipment. Great tour from you both & thanks for all you both do for our dream boats & your candour.🙏👍🇨🇦
Multi million dollar yacht, $50 liquor...
She says she 's pretty fabulous...... correct. Great couple that are living their success. Well done! More power to you both. What a beauty ... the boat !
Wow, thank you kindly 🙏🏻🙏🏻💙
Thank you so much for your amazing feedback 💙🙏🏻
Love it when they have tons of refrigeration and freezer space. Have spent so much on ice and trying to keep perishables in the past
Very good design. Maybe not so sleek and minimal but "real world" design.
thank you so much!
Please tour EVERY Nordhavn possible!!!! 😍😍😍😍
Thank you for the video you guys do a good job your wife is always learning something new. As a retired yacht captain them crew quarters suck they could be an improvement on that engine room is great and yeah I agree with that the white overhead should be dark anyway thank you looking forward to other videos
Love the "wash each other " and "cigar cutter " laughed so much thanx for the EXTRA!!! luv you both!!!
'Dresser',or 'chest of drawers' are freestanding bedroom drawer units. That was a very well set up ship.Thank you for another great tour.
I love the gally style gally. Actually the entire boat is beautiful!
This is now my number one world cruiser. Just a tad above the boats from Turkey. (old age prevents my remembering the name) Bering. I remembered
batten down the hatches.
Prepare for a difficulty or crisis
"a natural tendency in times of recession is to batten down the hatches"
Great boat 2x👍
It is allways pure joy to watch your yacht and superyacht tours where every minute your own passion is to see and to feel. I am fascinated in yachts and superyachts since nearby 30 years and my first designer i knew was jon bannenberg. Your videos are allways very impresive and entertaining after a hard work day. Please keep on filming and producing in your passionated style.
Wow, thank you for your amazing feedback! will do!
You had me at the woodwork! Spectator grain!! Ok. In love!
She is beautiful……and so is the Norhavn.😊
One thing you didn't mention is the wood doors on this boat are beautiful. The manufacturer created the veneer center panels so that the grain reflects in the middle so it looks like a tree is growing in the center of each door. Nice.
Now that's a great 80 footer! And you were right Victoria, all the gear was for'd although you may have been pointing the wrong way.
One of the best boats ever.
You can travel anywhere in great comfort.
It feels like being on a 100ft yacht, a lot of boat for being a 80ft yacht, well laid out design, just super super nice! Great presentation👍✌️
I am falling in love with these Nordhavns!
Appreciate all of efforts to make these wonderful videos. Most of us would probably never have the chance to see such beautiful boats.
Our pleasure!
Thank you for the tour. There's no substitute for being there, but this will do. Amazing fit and finish. Heavy duty everywhere and everything.
Glad you enjoyed it!
Victoria fabulous as ever!
And so is Rico! 😁
😝🙏🏻😂 Nice to know that you guys watch your videos all the way to the end
@@NautiStyles Yes I do, on all of your videos! 👋😎

Thanks so much!!
Do a comparison of Bering, Nordhavn and CDM!!!
