  • In this talk, focusing on Christ’s call to the churches in the first three chapters of Revelation, John MacArthur challenges church leaders and pastors to call their churches to repentance if need be. “We all like calling the nation to repentance,” MacArthur suggests, “but what about calling the church to repentance?” Have you ever heard of a church-a whole church-that repented? Have you ever been part of a church that openly, genuinely, and contritely repented for sins against its head-the Lord Jesus Christ?

    I work as a taxi driver I was listening to this sermon but when he reached the closing point (we love Christ) I couldn't stop my tears and I immediately busted into prayer regardless I had passengers inside. May Christ be glorified

    Praise the Lord! Ps. John MacArthur is a faithful servant of Jesus Christ as His child, and to Christ ALONE goes all the credit for John's ability to preach the scriptures so aptly! God the Holy Spirit, Who indwells every true believer IN our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, enlightens us to God's Spiritually Priceless Word, so we who are genuinely saved can work out our own salvation in fear and trembling! Glory!

    Yes I have called , guided by the Holy Spirit, we all came together to repentance and it was a blessing., all the Glory to God .
    My God, I am too ashamed and hurt to turn to you, because we’re in our iniquities over our heads. Furthermore, my God, our sins have grown as high as the heavens. 7 We have lived in great sin from the days of our ancestors even until today, and because of those iniquities we, our kings, and our priests have been delivered over to foreign kings, for execution, for captivity, for plunder, and for humiliation, as is the case[a] today.
    1 Have mercy on me, O God,
    according to your unfailing love;
    according to your great compassion
    blot out my transgressions.
    Wash away all my iniquity
    and cleanse me from my sin.
    Create in me a pure heart, O God,
    and renew a steadfast spirit within me.
    Do not cast me from your presence
    or take your Holy Spirit from me.
    Restore to me the joy of your salvation
    and grant me a willing spirit, to sustain me.
    Then I will teach transgressors your ways,

      We are either chosen for heaven or hell. If we are chosen for hell then that means God hated them.

    At about 30 minutes in Pastor McArthur looks at each church Wow I thought that it was only non-believers that were the problem within the 5 churches but in 4 of the churches the problem are also the believers with the last church Laodicea ( the average end times church? ) He stands at the door and knocks - Jesus is not even in this church 😱
