Congratulations! I just finished reading the Bible from front to back and the commitment and dedication it takes is not something to take lightly or minimize regardless of how many people do it regularly. I too am going to start reading it chronologically but I will be using the Bible Recap plan and hope to finish in a year.

Hi, thank you for this. I just finished reading the bible on my own last night.I was just dancing and so happy that I did it! So, I was excited to find someone else who also finish the New Testament this year. Also, my eyesight is getting bad so I using audiobooks now. I also had to use some study guides for a few of the books. The gospel of John was difficult for me. Also, the first half of Romans beat me down to my knees so I needed some help with that (FYI, the 2nd half of Romans is great!).

Our family has read through the Bible around 7 times over the many years. Just read through, not specific Bible study, those are separate....btw takes about 1 1/2 year to get through...

Well done!! That's huge! So pleased for you! I believe that when we take more time and really study rather than just read the bible, that is far more valuable than just racing to complete in a year. As someone who is probably your Mums age I had never read it all until this year, mostly because it felt like a failure that I hadn't yet. But I really didn't get to go deep on anything. You need to read like 3 chapters a day, so you can't look up everything in commentaries and topical studies for 3 chapters! You are doing a great job, I'm reading again this year and my bible plan takes me through all the themes and stories but misses out the repetition (repetition drives me nuts!). We all need to read it, but as long as we are in it every day there's no timeframes imposed by God! :)

I got the plan Bible in 52 weeks for women on amazon and read the whole Bible last year. It’s something I’ve always wanted to do and it’s grown my relationship with the Lord and my love for Christ and all he’s done. I do individual studies that I get on the Daily Grace Co now and I also do SOAP studies. I study with my Women’s study Bible NIV, my She Reads Truth for personal reading and my Candace Cameron Bure NLT Bible I use for church. ❤ I love all the different translations and cross reference sometimes.

If you love God’s word then you would use traditional text. If the Greek compilation or translations you use take Jesus’ Deity out of 1TIMOTHY 3:16 and John 3:16 or make Jesus lie to his brothers in John chapter 7 concerning going to the feast then that is not traditional text.
Modern Bible translators translate from a corrupted set of codex's which jesuits, catholics and satanists compiled. They worked to replace reliable codex's to translate from, instead using Codex Sinaiticus which was created in the 1800’s which they pass off as the oldest and best “old” Bible; Sinaiticus, they claim is 1500ish years older than it truly is. Then there is codex Alexandrinus which “appeared” about ten years after KJV 1611 was published, and codex Vaticanus which appeared in the Vatican around the 1400’s and was rejected by the scholars that worked on the KJV.
Not every verse in scripture was changed but there are changes throughout. In a nutshell, handing Bible Translators something “messed up” to translate “from” makes whatever they translate “to” wrong from the start.

that's not very nice. :( She's studying the bible every day and that's the point. God never imposed a timeframe or race to read, He just said to do it every day! Besides, studying and reading are very different things.
