Jacque and Megan, Do you know the full background story to the Knock apparitions? What led up to the apparitions and what was happening within Ireland when it happened? Knock is not really a Marian shrine, it is the first global site where The Lamb was shown on the Altar, being surrounded by angels in adoration and Our Lady, St. Joseph, and St. John (He of the book of Revelation). Next time you go there, read Isaiah 6, then Revelation 4-17, and 12. Then you will fully understand what really happened at Knock. It is an apparition of Silent Adoration of the Lamb. Knock will become a global shrine when the time comes that people within the Church and the Laity fully understand the significance of what happened there. It is not a Marian shrine, it is the site of the first global apparition of the Lamb from the book of revelation. The time will come when this shrine will come to prominence in the Church. That time is yet to come.
...and because Mary was present at this event, it is also technically a Marian Apparition... whatever the Magesterium eventually declares about it. All Marian Apparitions point to Christ, ultimately, which would not make this prediction all that different from the others.
Have you ever heard the explanation for why the Irish do Mass and the Rosary so quickly? It was born out of persecution from when it was illegal to be Catholic, so they got into the habit of praying as quickly as possible to avoid being noticed by neighbors for being gone as long as it would take for a normal Mass or Rosary. I suppose that tradition has outlived its time.
It is absolutely fantastic to listen to two beautiful young ladies speaking of a Woman - of whom it was said, 'Henceforth ALL nations shall call be Blessed'. You are both human beings and Christian - what matters. I grew up in N Ireland - was crazy. If you ever get a chance - go to to Medjugorje. You will be changed. That's a guarantee. The Holy Spirit is so prevalent. God bless you both !!! This is a great beginning - sharing instead of fighting. Whatever you believer.
I learned something from this too. I have been to Knock but never realised the silence was about adoration of the Lamb on the Altar. More should know this.
Older church in Knock is very beautiful with a Harry Clarke studio stained glass window of Our Lady. Important Rosary rally in Knock this Saturday. Great to listen to your perspective. God bless.
Lovely to hear your chat about Knick. I was in Lourdes recently and your right , visually and scale there is no comparison. However spiritually, it is the only sight in the world where the Lamb appeared along side Mary, Joseph and John the evangelist, hold big the book of Revelation in silence for three hours. I’d say in Gods Devine timing the full significance of the Knock apparition site will be revealed. Will be attending an All Ireland Rosary Rally there this Saturday, requested in prayer to two people. - Co. Mayo was particularly devastated by the famine 35 years earlier. - Fr Don Calloway y/t talk on the POWER of the Rosary - join Fatima Crusade daily international Rosary with Fr.Pilari. 🙏🙏🙏
Knock is the only silent apparition. It is highly symbolic and for many represents Mass and specifically silent Adoration. The Blessed Mother, Joseph & St John holding Sacred Scripture, and of course the Lamb on the Altar with angels. To me it represents a call to Adoration and has significance that was for that time but also for the future. It has future significance too as the symbols are from the book of Revelations. It seems to me to say 'stay calm, stay at the foot of the Altar & all will be well' to the people of Ireland. Knock is not very highly commercialised which I like a lot. Also, the place where the apparition happened is not 'Man made beautiful' it's in Mayo in Ireland and the place itself was very poor and humble but extremely naturally beautiful. The little cafe is like your Granny's kitchen & the soup and homemade brown bread are delicious! Pope John Paul II sent a golden rose to the shrine in honour of Our Lady of Knock. 🙏
The little kitchen there with food was amazing and the people were so friendly! During my time in Ireland, the Irish people were so, so kind! I can’t wait to visit Ireland again.

There are miracles and apparitions attributed to non-Catholics, even Protestants. I think a miracle to a Protestant was even used to support a Saint’s canonization at one point, but I forget the case. I think your answer that it happens all the time is good but I would clarify that the Church investigates specific miracles to confirm they work as a devotion to the public rather than just a private revelation, if not something fabricated. I think you were trying to say that?
Interesting I’m Catholic, yes Mary always points to Jesus if she points to something other than Jesus it’s a false appreciation, -do Protestants have any apparitions

The apparitions at Zeitoun are very interesting. Witnessed by a multitude of people in Egypt.
Great video!
Very interesting discussion.
Im going to our Lady of Champion site this summer. It'll be my first marion apparition site.
A picture paints a thousand words.

It's not a Marian apparition, though. The lamb of God took centre stage here, and it should be all about that. A very unique apparition.
There is a museum at Knock

If the devil can appear to Mohammed it can appear to Catholics correct ?
She should also got to Fatima.
I would love to!
Megan, hopefully one day you can bring Jacque out of mystery Babylon and idolatry.
