Well, as far as I can remember every time he made those videos he would mention what the Ukrainians would have to do in order to avoid Bakhmut falling. His analysis would continue to predict it to fall, and it continued so on, until it finally did. Not much to complain about when that's what exactly happened.

From an American perspective, this applies. As America has fought wars of aggression since after the second world war. Fighting for America during this time would be considered foolish. But this war the Russians are fighting is righteous as they are fighting to protect Russian people in Ukraine and regain historic Russian lands.
The problem is that there are people indoctrinated by nationalism who are willing to give their lives for some useless ideological reasons. Nationalism is a bit like religion - you believe in shit that is absolutely made up so that an elite (elected or not) is able to control your behavior. They can essentially force you to go to war and give up your life for them even if you don't want to. "It's for the good of the country!" they would say, while they cower in a bunker and watch you get blown up from a far. All countries indoctrinator their young in the school system, it's really disgusting.
When you'll grow older you'll notice that most of peoples are complete ret*rds (even some supposed clever ones), and that mass of people doesn't even get a clue of what you just write.

It could be a fake, but if you think of it, when an army fights such a heavy and bloody war for 2 years already, some commanders and troops might get mad. In old practices, units that got into such a state, would not be allowed to area with civilians until they get full rest and get their brains back into right place. It is not unusual in human history and it is important for command to take this into account.

Well it speaks volumes when my government (America) is coming to their senses and taking a reality check on continuing funding for Ukraine. So are many Western governments. But it took them, including mine, having given so much military equipment that it’s left our military very little and will take time to replenish.
As an American veteran that’s been put in places we had no business in and then needing to leave in embarrassment I wish we’d stop sticking our nose in every body’s affairs.
Whether or not my fellow countrymen are aware the world has changed and not every country or administration is afraid of America. Many are tried of being our whipping boy. We in this country have ridden our WWII reputation. That was 80 years ago and many of that generation has passed.
Our track record in regional conflicts just plain sucks. We have always taken on weaker, overly hyped enemies not ones with real teeth. But the world is catching up and we can no longer think we are the only bad boys. I wish we’d mind our own business. Once again we are involved into taking on all the madmen of the world. We tell other countries to fix their problems when we can’t fix our own.

2 years in the war whoever wants to fight is probably in it already. Even Ukraine mobilizes another half a million it’s probably gonna be half a million who doesn’t want to fight, along with their families. Politically, this is not good for Zelensky thus Zaluzhny got fired.
Sadly, militarily it does make a difference, just like how the 300k mobilized by Russia stabilized the frontline. Any conscript sitting in trenches is better than no one.
