So the SMCO500V sounds the horn when transmitting. Smart, the silent transmission on the older SCO500 actually delay the emergency.

@@Undercoverelevator212-s2n Yk what that makes a lot more sense now that I think about it. I assume that’s why testing the older models had such a long pause before sounding?

@ Yeah. On the older models you can see the green LED flickering for 12 seconds before sounding. That’s the silent transmission.

@ That would explain why the smoke test is so long compared to the CO testing. Good on first alert for fixing it and making it faster
