I installed this cat back system on my SXT about 3 weeks ago. It sounds great. Its loud enough to be noticed but not obnoxious or annoying. It makes the car sound like a sports car where the factory exhaust had no sound. The stainless steel material should last way longer than aluminized steel. 100% satisfied!
So-Cal user of this system and, I know its not @ V8 levels. The car shifts right before the drone noise through 4-6 gears and with the V6 it is a quick shift. 7th and 8th not really paying attention when its getting to where it wants to be cause I'm on it by then looking for it. Would love to see this in the cold air just like the video shows but just want to let others know. It is legit. stock air intake thanks to CARB. AND @ no fault of MBRP did my gas mileage go down.. The sound of it is addicting, and puts a smile on the face, and the foot on the gas pedal bottom out.
Just installed this exhaust, sounds amazing! Ps:for those who wonder, you can keep your stock tips on your sxt,but will sounds a bit louder with the mbrp tips
How’s the sound cruising between 30-50mph? Is the drone bad? I had Botla exhaust on a different car at one time and it made that car uncomfortable to drive at those speeds for extended periods.
Owner of a 1 week old 2021 Challenger SXT. Did the rear resonator/suitcase muffler delete and hate the sound inside the cabin with drone and loudness. I just ordered this exhaust system to replace the OEM one. I am hoping that cabin noise isn't loud or drone'y at all? Thanks.
@@rmac6420 Yes, I did end up getting this after a week or so with straight pipe and it was significantly better. Mind you it was quite subtle and not very loud at all (I do not have the Challenger anymore) until you stepped on it. But for day-to-day living it was a super nice option to have. It wasn't droney or excessively noisy by any means.
Tim B “ style” is cheap and sounds cheap. People only do Tim B when they’re on a budget and that’s okay. Borla S or Atak, MBRP or Solo Performance is the way to go
That was one modified lawnmower . It's actually embarrassing to even have after market exhaust as the car portrays as a muscle car and sounds like a modified moped
At least your not an asshole ..I previously owned a 3.7 mustang and an a 04 Cobra, made them both sound really nice, and I'll do the same with my 2023 Challenger 3.6..not MBRP but Borla will sound amazing and have zero drone
You must be pretty young. Years back 300 plus horsepower is what you may be able to get after laying out a lot of money for a whole bunch of aftermarket stuff for your small block V8 chevy, ford, or mopar. The fact that a V6 can get over 300 horsepower (or a turbo 4 cylinder can as well) is insane for us old guys. And the Mustang GT with 460 HP on a small block V8? That was once unicorn territory. So you can make fun of the Dodge V6 all you want, but truth is it's pretty damned good for a Naturally Aspirated 6-cylinder (and with a supercharger, you can get well over 400 horses). My 57 Chevy with a 6-cylinder had 105 horsepower. And the car was way heavier than a Challenger. So just count your blessings rather than dissing everything.
To each their own but that just doesn't sound good. I have yet to hear an aftermarket exhaust on a V6 that sounds very good. If your going to buy a muscle car then buy the muscle, get the V8.
I have both--Mustang GT and Dodge Challenger SXT. Both are fun cars. But when the snow is flying, the Challenger is WAY better with its AWD. Plus, high horsepower on icy roads is actually a drawback--especially on a RWD.

This changed the character of my 2019 SXT, love this exhaust
Just got installed MBRP on my Challenger SXT plus and it sounds great, thanks MBRP for a good V6 exhaust system 👍🏻

does this MBRP cost more MGP?
@@blakehou8733 hmm don’t know, got it on after a week. I got around 23,5 mpg - do a lot of highway. So what are your MPG and driving patterns?
@@lemmyDK I drive a lot of local,and its around 19or 20, mine is 2022 GT.
Installed my MBRP! Love the sound! One bad ass exhaust. The clamp have much to be desired. Over half are defective but overall I love the system!!!
V6 or V8?

I’m getting this installed next Friday anything I should expect sxt
Picked a perfect day to do a run
I’m looking to buy one pretty soon. Are these street legal? Toronto police have been handing out exhaust tickets recently
Sounds good I'm going to have to grab a set
Hello do you ship to Europe?

Just bought one!
Is it good?
Any droning on the highway?

Way too raspy and too much drone . Tim B style exhaust is WAY better. Overpriced crap IMO.

I got a better sound with just $400
What did you do?

“It’s not the fastest thing I’ve driven before” while sitting in a v6 challenger 😂😭😂😭 should just review a fuckin VW Jetta while your at it bud 😂
Yes,that was an incredibly stupid thing to say, the 3.6 runs as quick as C4 Corvettes and nobody bashes on them

Why even fuck with a V6 let alone put a new exhaust on it. Get a real muscle car.
V8s don’t come in AWD. Besides, there’s not many V8s out there that can run with my V6
V6 or v8 some times it's just hard to resist working on your car
Why u on a v6 video bitchin about a v6?🤣🤣😂idgaf if u said that shit 2 years ago lmfao
Tells that to a Ford GT driver, dude. Bet he could smoke your ass in his V6 any day of the week.

JuSt BuY a v-AtE, shut up. Lol
So like every muscle car before the 90’s wasnt muscle Bc those v8’s didn’t make over 300hp
Why? I murder V8s

Gross
POSER MUSCLE CAR
Will the 3inch from the RT work on the v6?
would this fit on a 2014?
Just do a muffler delete it's cheaper and sounds a little better imo
