This presentation provides an overview of carbon cycling and carbon sequestration in agricultural peat soils, carbon measurement methods, carbon flux towers, the National Agricultural Soil Carbon Observatory (NASCO), the Irish Lighthouse living lab farms within the SignPost programme and modelling to develop new tier 2 and tier 3 emission factors.
