Bill gave so much to music, you are correct. He died February 2, 2024 in Orlando. This clip was from 2003 at the Bix Festival in Davenport Iowa. He died 21 years after this performance.
Oops - I mis-read 2003 as 2023 and was mixing it up with when Bill told me he did the Bix festival again in 2021. The last email Bill sent me was on August 20, 2022.
Bill died about a year after this concert - he was playing great, until he knew he couldn't. R.I.P. Bill Allred - you gave so much to MUSIC.
