Why has the show gotten so bad it has to rely on click bait and lie. If the pulls were not going to be shown they just had to cut that part out. But the click bait... Come on, what is happening to the show?

I truly appreciate how Mark shows respect for his techs, which I'm sure they deserve. I love the show! In 83, I bought a V code 70 Charger R/T. Original drive train long gone, but with a 383 magnum, modified, with a 4 spd. Had it for a year and traded it for a brand new 750 Kawasaki. Hindsight huh?
I don’t know,I think I’d be more pissed about my car sitting there for 4 years and hasn’t had its restoration started yet more than finding out the engine and trans isn’t numbers matching. I get it takes a long time for one of these cars to be restored right and get the shop is busy but 4 years just sitting is a little ridiculous, especially seeing who the car belongs too.

I've seen 3-year waiting lists, JUST FOR stock Harley Davidson motorcycles...so, 4-years for a 'bring your own, we'll make it better than new' isn't shocking, at all. Go watch a few 'maintenance mechanic' videos, where nylon ties suffice for putting the right bolts in, and you'll see the difference between 'you should be ready to go next week, for $2,000' and 'we'll cater to whatever you want for $40,000 or more, and use the right parts in the process'.
Because the dealership can’t take years to find parts and fix it for hundreds of thousands....... he has all that time he isn’t actually working to memorize things that could just be looked up

That really is what made me stop watching too much BS and not enough of the real building. I don't mind them goofing off getting out the shop having blowing off steam having fun but the idiotic stuff is very contrived. There's plenty of shows like that to watch. But there isn't a really good Mopar building out there.

Bill Goldberg is 100% class I attended a Wrestling match in Phoenix I had handy cap seating because im miss my left leg. we were escorted down to the floor and went through the dressing room There was a guy that was a quadruplegic and I saw Bill Goldburge And said to my Friend Theres Goldburge The guy in the wheelchair stopped his Chair A Bill Goldburge went over to Him and put His arm around His shoulder and Had A picture taken with him. My buddy and I said Hi to Him He noded But spending his time to Take a picture with that Guy in the wheelchair was probley The High light of his life Being a Quadruplegic would be very sad life And Bill Goldburge gave him a wounderful time Class Act 100%

I have been building cars all my life! I am now 60 and all of the race cars and race bikes are a part of history! I do build RC cars and quadcopters though and have some that will do over a hundred miles per hour and are way cheaper LOL!
Next time you guys paint a winged car nose, prop it up off the stand. It's unseen once assembled but I would fear that would be a future paint failure point. Our shop uses the cardboard centers from spent rolls of tape to hold edges of parts off the stands.

Basecoat Clearcoat is a bad idea if you're entering car shows or reselling for top dollar. it's an incorrect coating. the best part is, i never have to argue with anybody about it again. Yeah, it has excellent benefits, no arguments there. Anyway, unless you find the exact engine that came out of the car and put the correct coatings on it, it will never fetch a million dollars

Looking at bad body work. I worked at a Auto processor as Quality control. I day I was called over to the repair side and shown a new forester that had been rejected by the dealership and asked what I saw wrong Obvious, There was a section that was not factory paint and looked basically rattle can. Going through shipping records it was found that the vehicle took at least 3 weeks to deliever but only should have taken a few days, This is speculation only, no proof. The Subaru Tech felt that the truck driver hauling it damaged it and instead of reporting it he took it to a cheap body shop to have it repaired This is only speculation and I am not accuseing anyone of wrong doing, Just putting this story out.
One to make you go wtf. I worked on a 65 Dodge dart ( Brakes, Transmission) I found someones " Custom Bodywork" Duct Tape over rust and then Bondo over the Duct tape
Let me guess! Duct tape over holes in the lower quarter panels, frosted with bondo and a quantity of screen wire! Old body man! Seen it! Fixed it! Never trust a body shop without welding equipment!

I'm not a Mopar fan but those cars are awesome to look how they were painted built marks restorations are pretty good love his attention to detail
