I've been a Gotham fan for a few years and only just found this channel now that I'm getting back into chess, and I gotta say...your content has helped my game quite a lot. I haven't had a skyrocket in my ratings or anything, but you've helped me with some concepts that I always had trouble with before.

Watching RUclips doesn’t do shit for your chess

@@michaelreed2787 actually it does, you just have to focus on concepts she's teaching instead of her!

@@jishanchandel5929 Disagree. She is doing all of the heavy lifting related to calculating without mentioning lines. I don’t think you become a better player by watching other people play

Unfortunately, I only just discovered your channel. You are a fantastic explainer. And even if your opponent doesn't deserve your patience when he takes too long to make a move or lets the time run out, you maintain the spirit of the game and explain it brilliantly. I would be angry if I were you Haha. Thank you very much for your wonderful content. I'm on my way to achieving ELO 2000. +1 subscriber and +1 like!!! You are a brilliant chess player and A brilliant chess content creator!

    Nice instructive video as always.
28:25 I would rather take the bishop with b pawn, the follow up is Ba6+. if white don't take carefully, black can win the queen (CMIIW)

so from 1700 above its all a matter of finding tactics. there was no endgame theory in this particular video but do you suggest that we have to study endgame theory?

14:40 what about Bxc6? Threatening Ba6+ which looks very deadly forcing white to waste another tempo with the queen?

Do you really not calculate in this time control? Seems like just sensible moves with basic blunder checks.
