Great guide thx. For those who doesn't know : - Perfect note it's when your tap the note on the orange section - Normal note it's when you tap on the white section After playing your note a "glow "will appear, white for a normal or orange for a perfect. With this, you can determine how many notes you can skip. Tips : If you are missing some song like weakness instantly press F and redo the song.
Knowledge modifies spellcasting speed which allows you to play songs faster. Having that +3 will and knowledge works great for yourself as well. Including having Knowledge on gear will never hurt. Since the faster you can play your songs the more efficient you can be as a bard. Another thing I've noticed and didn't see covered in the video is having crossbows/ survival bows. Buffing with Rousing Rhythm and Ballad of Courage will make even a survival bow viable in battle. Since you can chip away while in the back line especially and team fights and get early damage as a solo player.
Wow, thank you for going over all of this information in such depth and detail. I've been trying to main bard, but have been finding it difficult to really find quality information for the class like this. Awesome stuff!
There's a LFG channel in the game. The moment you enter the channel and they see your class is a bard they'll instantly invite you. I was only lvl5 and two lvl 17's invited me.
Start with rousing rhythms for the +will, and do it twice to buff the next rousing's duration you play for you and your allies I personally do rousing ->beats->ballad->harmonic->aria depending on what I'm running
Can you do xanzibars cleric guide and tell about the items. Should I stack just will or does magic heal boost my cleric with flat ratios more? Also the spells for bosses and pvp seem to vary a bit.
i know you ranked all songs, but what would you recommend for playing with a team? also for different team comps, for example what would you use with archer fighter and cleric fighter?
In the video he mentions essential group buffs aswell as which songs are beneficial to casters and physical classes. Inn short if you have a caster in the team you should have the song Chorale of Clarity and possibly the Story Teller perk. Regardless if its a physical or a caster team you want the following songs: - Rousing Rhythms - Allegro - Accelerando - Shriek of Weakness - Tranquility - Harmonic Shield The following are good or really good songs: - Song of Silence (Prevent opposing teams from using abilities) - Din of Darkness (Find rogues / free damage through walls) - Piercing Shrill (Find rogues / free damage through walls) - Beats of Alacrity (self only) - Aria of Alacrity (self only) - Ballad of Courage (self only) Usable: - Unchained Melody (Opens any chest aswell as doors, useful when chasing teams) - Peacemaking (Only applies to physical attacks and abilities, not spells) - Song of Shadow (Can be used for tactical plays) Perks Must-haves: - Charismatic Performance - Superior Dexterity - Wanderer's Luck (Killing bosses? Use it) Good: - Melodic Protection - Rapier Mastery - Story Teller (Wizard/Cleric teams) Usable: - Jolly Time - Lore Mastery Either way, listen to it again (a few times) because he talks about each song/perk and how they are beneficial to your teammates. Any song/perk not listed was ranked Ass-tier by the big dawg.
Apollo, could you explain the purpose of that "playing great music" with a timer. Does it apply any additional buffs, or is it something to be cancelling?
What about Will in stat priority? Wouldnt it make your spells stronger and last longer and it would scale them really well since your starting will is so low?

The number of times I have died to bards hitting me through the walls and floors. its so broken, Like there is no counter play at all other than to run away and hope you dont run into other players or ai grouped up.

hell yea thank you som much for that if been staring to play bard and im alwayse happy to learn thx mate :D
The silence song also blocks skills like second wind, judgement etc
Song if silence works on skills as well as spells. Which is why you want to use it on fighters.
that's how you do it. pretty straight foward

what about aleegro ?
@@mdjv it’s slower to use it in your self buff chain than it is to not use it, mostly depends on how good you are at cancel skipping/swapping though
@@rush6487 Ho you mean it take more time to cast alegro and your loop buff than the loop buff alone ?
Thanks for your answer, appreciated 😘
Excellent! Thank you

ballad of courage is a party buff also peacemaking affects your own teammates so its pretty bad.
Ballad of courage is a self buff only
I tried to learn by myself and came to similar conclusions, the rousing rhythms bugged text is good though, it always felt long

Cool
Missed out on song of silence also stopping skills.
Yeah my bad on that. I mentioned to use it on fighters but not that it stops skills.

It's a song you have to channel
1:42 anyone know what the "echo sound effect" means on Piercing Shrill? is it a debuff or flavor text or what?
it's literally what the name suggests, you will hear a loud annoying noise that overshadows all other sound for like 2sec iirc
@@21bitconnect36 ok I thought it was like a damage over time on top of the damage

The way the spells scale it's not worth stacking will
The 3 note flute debuff feels random whether it works or not if you miss the first note since they changed it
You have to hit both notes perfect afterwards else it doesnt work.
Is it worth getting better instruments or not? im guessing only if they have +1 all?
They can roll up to +3 all so they are pretty worth
Why is note skipping a thing...
Rip +3 all
