Josie, I completely agree with you about the trainers. I just got home from spending a month in London, Marylebone village in fact, and everyone wears trainers. To me, it just looks like women have given up. In the old days, women wore low HEELS their whole lives and managed to make it to ripe old ages...think: Queen Elizabeth. I wonder if those low heels actually made women's feet and legs stronger? And those shoes were made of lovely leather, not plastic. It must have been so much better for their feet.

Even the leather you find on shoes made in Asia, is no longer the quality leather that used to be used on all footwear/purses etc. Now you must pay a high premium for good quality leather--which I do.
Would have been much better on the feet and posture. But just think , if you see what many of them are wearing from the shoes upwards, not even a pair of ballerina flats in leather will do. Some run around in "active wear", so the trainers complete "the look".
Yummy pumpkin spiced loaf. Such a lovely treat to spend time with the girls. Wow Charlie has definitely put a wonderful display of food on the table. I’m not a fan of the chunky trainers. Thank you for sharing ❤
Josie, they do make submersible water heaters that are sized for cups/mugs. I used to use one when I was away at University--if you don't want to wait for the Aga to heat it up. I, also, have done away with my microwave. I've never trusted them to be healthy.

I heard as I was making it you were talking about healthy broccoli which I had lots of in the mix. 😄That banana bread looks so yummy and also the pumpkin spice. Is it easy to make? Tastes so good in the coffee. Pumpkin latte🤩
I know what you mean about sneakers! I think you could pull anything off but maybe some low profile sneakers could be a way to try some? Like the Adidas Sambas or Gazelles. They really are very comfy and I wear them with anything, even dresses! They have some lovely neutral colour ways too. But if sneakers don't feel right then you do you x your style is gorgeous!

I think the shoes look really cool actually, but not something you, me, or most of your viewers would wear just based on what we like (assuming that we’re all similar since we are watching your vlogs) 😆 These kinds of shoes specifically fit the modern day, sportsy/chic style more than anything and that’s why they look so cool with it LOL.
