I don't really watch these rap dudes nowadays but this was one of the first few interviews where I watched it all the way through. These brothers are highly intelligent and on a purely different type of time. This interview provided a fresh perspective of us in the ghetto and shows a different train of thought taking place among us in the hood. Bleezy I respect you my brother and the rest of your army and wish you and your movement much respect. We need more of you 💯

He's promoting peace, positivity, and the development of the children and community. He has dropped innumerable jewels in this interview that a looooot of rappers with a ton of more resources and a ton of more attention and followers are just not saying, and in fact they're promoting lifestyles that are self destructive and often times they aren't living themselves. And please keep in mind that this is Brownsville, Brooklyn, a place where they're are being systematically oppressed and subjected to traumatizing violence on a daily basis. TBH if stereotypes served true then they aren't supposed to speaking like this. How many inner city, Black street gangs, with three letters, that will give an acronym like "Dad's Over Deadbeats"? How many rappers from Brooklyn that are telling our youth NOT to gang bang and actually giving them the truth about what happens AFTER you make your mistakes and go to prison?
If he was light skinned with his pants tucked in and pulled up to his navel and mimicked the vocabulary and enunciations of some of his counterparts? Then maybe you may perceive his message as having "intellect". I'm sorry but the Black intellectuals doesn't always look and sound like Carlton Banks. Sometimes it's as pure as the message. And not only did Bleezy bypass the books and lip professing, but he actually got together with a group of friends and participated in the birth of an organization that has matured into a phenomenon.......
W💫💫💫...... An organization that has done more in regards to the unification of Bloods and Crips than any other NYC organization speaks volumes. You know what else speaks louder? The fact that instead of trying to look and sound like an "intellect" he's actually out there doing the work that the fancy looking intellects are scared to do: Throwing cookouts, amusement park trips with the youth, giving them positive directions and messages, basketball tournaments, music studios. And he's not stealing and robbing, nor 9 to 5'ing for survival. He spoke and reflecting self employment. This man already has made history at an age where he's supposed to be dead, coming from where he's coming from, and claiming the affiliations that he's claiming. According to statics, and the life cycle of the Black man in the ghetto especially Brownsville Brooklyn(one of the last few places un-genetrified), and judging from his accomplishments and the fact that he's STILL ALIVE writes him off as an intellect in my book.
