I imagine they do it like in BPM, where songs don't have an "ending" per se, they are permanently on a seamless loop, and the ending is very sudden (in BPM, it's triggered by the last 4 shots of you defeating the boss).

@@Allan_Stone I mean it the other way around, a song that was designed to play on a seamless loop might not be the best song to be played as a beggining+middle+end song. but the other dude said it first: they're not that "loopy" and actually have the typical structure it's just that the "middle" part plays on a loop and then the "end" part plays on a loop on boss battles, so you can actually do a single loop of each and you get yourself a "normal" song. It wouldn't work very well if it weren't for the boss part...

It would be a really, really good modern DOOM clone, but the rhythm game concept (I know, I know, BPM exists) and the freaking good music made me more satisfied than playing DOOM. Which is a big thing because DOOM 2016 and Eternal was fantastic!

The rythm component is way to central in the game to say that this game is just a DOOM copy. I'd argue it's a BPM copy, if anything

You guys realised, this game isn´t a simple fps shooter and for real not a doom clone?!
Its basically a rhythm game, cause the song evolves to more details, when you shoot in rhythm of the song. So the lovely voices will be unlocked on higher stages, while on lower one, the drums and guitars will warm you up quite well ;)
@@lialeth5823 I dont see the boomer shooter part, boomer shooter involves it actually looking old and arcadey like the new Warhammer 40k Boltgun. Even modern doom isn't that much of a boomer shooter.
@@dragonvarine7553 "Boomer shooter" these days mostly refers to arena shooters, with Doom definitely being the prominent one lately. Even then, this game does have some pretty arcade-y features, such as the multiplier, score, and boost pickups. Definitely by modern terms a Boomer shooter.

Very rarely do I see a game trailer these days and think "yeah, Im going to ask for some days off when this comes out", but this makes me feel the same kind of anticipation I got pre ordering wind waker at block buster.
It just so happens that I have a day off when this releases. Well technically its the next day I have off. But when I get home from work I'll be playing it right away! 🤘
