my piano teacher is making my crush and I play this. I'm honestly really stoked.
EDIT: Wow, 2 months can feel like a lifetime in 2020. So much has changed! Anyways, we had to put off practicing because his mom got COVID, but his family got better, and we are now back to practicing. We had to wait until his whole family recovered (5 kids including him) And now we've almost got it. Yay!!! So excited!!!
I'm sorry to hear that his family had to go through the suffering of the virus.. But I am very glad that recovery is in progress! I hope this song can give some happiness to you and people around you in this difficult time!
I wished me and my crush could play this too. But she stopped piano 3 years ago ;_;

I mean sound of music is my favorite movie
I am 57 and my 16-year-old son is going to perform with me exactly this same song for his year-end online music recital. Of course, our speed is no match like yours, we can't play that fast without making mistakes. The fast runs especially on the melody parts are really very challenging.
That’s so lovely! Take it a little bit slower in the passages that are challenging, and that’s totally fine. It is always better to build muscles correctly first and try to speed up as you get used to it. Hope you enjoy :)
