I really struggle with these verses. I’ve wrestled with a couple addictions I’m not proud of nor happy with. Been trying for a while to put them off. When I hear things like, “Do it by the Spirit,” I often get discouraged. As if my struggles are a sign that he’s not with me. So I have to fight off constantly the thoughts that tell me “I’ll never make it” or “your struggle is too much to forgive.” The verse I cling into for myself is that only blasphemy against the Holy Spirit is unforgivable. In other words; don’t quit. But I still wrestle with this every day of my life. Please pray for me.
The spirit is water for our soul and the food is bread, which of course is the word of God. "Man does not live on bread alone but on every word that comes from God". Our "daily bread". Great teaching thank you!
Thank you for another great teaching, Gabe. One thing I respect about you, you never fill your time with “empty words.” Everything is thought out and delivered well. I praise God for you and Joel, and all of FAI!
Thank you, Gabe. I know it seems kinda trite to say this, however, it really does seem like these words are within our grasp in our near future. I realize there is still much to take place, but it does feel as though we are living on the cusp of the fulfillment of all of these things. I must admit that my soul like Lot's is tormented daily by the society around me, however, I also realize that is why I am here...I am in His Majesty's service to be a light and witness while He who sits at the right hand of the Father is away. I long for His coming, and even so all of the terrible events will unfold before me, I know just like Habakkuk, and John, that I will wait for my Lord to come and restore all things so that God may be all in all. Restoring all things means to rip this present evil age out of the clutches of evil men and into the hands of our loving God that brings a new age of peace. This means that I must welcome the destruction from the seals, trumpets, and bowls and yet knowing all of this I look to the results with joy and cry out, "Maranatha", "Come Lord Jesus".
Absolutely love this study, guys! One correction… I’m no Greek scholar, however, the word you used for “it is finished” appeared to be (in your study) “teletestai”. That appears to be an erroneous misspelling of the legal term: “Tetelestai”. The Greek word “τετέλεσται” (tetelestai) is used in the Gospel of John as Jesus’ last words (“it is finished”) before He gave up His spirit on the cross. “Tetelestai” comes from the Greek root word of “telew” meaning to bring to an end, finish, or complete. Either way, your maranatha Bible study is the greatest study of eschatology I have ever encountered. Just want to be helpful!

Good catch.
No more sea because no need for the cleansing power of the salt water.
Rev 3:12 instead of 2:12
This is the day the Lord has made, we will rejoice and be glad in it. Amen. 🕊🤍❤️🤍🕊
