this is one of my favorite ww1 songs and one of my favorite french military songs. because it truly shows the dedication of the brave French soldiers and their true devotion towards their country. even when there was death all around them in every direction even when there seemed to be no hope of survival or victory. they had sung songs and managed to still have the courage to keep fighting and to never surrender no matter the cost or sacrifice needed. now if that isn't the determination then I don't know what is.

Où on peut trouver la partition?

Да, гармония у песни сложная, и кажется, что местами будто аккомпонемент не попадает.
    В целом, достойно.

do you think it's funny to call the brave men that left everything they loved behind so they sacrifice their lives to protect their people back at home. those men who fought at Verdun are braver and more dedicated than you will ever be. so why don't you think about how easy your life is compared to the lives of those brave men. who had to wake up every day to see death all around them. and almost every day they watched their friends die right in front of their eyes. i bet you couldn't last a week in the hell hole that was the battle fields of verdun
