Raw oysters taste like you have the sea itself in your mouth - like a taste of Heaven. When I lived in Key West we lived on conch fritters, oysters, pink and red shrimp, and local fish.
I was thinking that somebody must like them if restaurants keep selling them 😂 crazy how different peoples tastes can be. They were unpleasant for me, to say the least. But I love all the rest of the seafood and maybe I will like the cooked oyster. Haven’t tried it yet. I’m jealous that you got to live in Key West 😃
That is my kind of video, especially the cooking your own food part, not to mention it’s in my favorite place ever. Going back in April and can’t wait. Love the content!!
Thanks guys! Still thinking about those fish tacos 🤤 thinking about making a whole separate video of that day, fishing and cooking it up. Have fun in the Keys in April! Do you have anything planned that you want to do while there?
@@NickandJulie those tacos look amazing. Really looking forward to kayaking in the mangroves and taking selfies with statues. Can’t wait to eat at Mason de pepes too
@@NickandJulie not in particular. My fiancé and I went there for a week and ate breakfast there for 5/7 days because we loved all of their breakfast items and coffee 😂 we’re going back in a little over a month.
Good Information! Caroline's Cafe on Duval is a good stop and so is the Conch Republic on Front St. Both reasonable with good food! Hurricane Hole U.S. 1 Stock Island is also a good spot. There are so many good places on Key West just don't forget your $!
Thanks for the recommendations! Adding to my list for the next trip. Oh yes, it’s easy to spend lots of 💵 on eating out here! My favorites so far are Bagattelles, La Creperie, and Hobo’s Cafe in Key Largo 🤤
we got rainy cloudy days for more than half the time we were there of course 😅 that’s not the case normally though. It’s perfect weather usually but not for us 😁

Awesome! Thank you! Have fun in Key West! 🏝️
You missed the most reasonably priced local spot for Cuban food, El Sibony, 900 Catherine ST. I lived there in the early 90's, best food deal around!
we’ll have to check it out next time! Thanks for the recommendation 😀
El siboney is legit. I went on this specificly to see if yall went there lol
Yes I’ve been there several times and I agree 👍

We love Banana Cafe. Cute little French place with good vibes.

Oysters are better when they are fried or oysters Rockefeller. Soft and easy to chew .
I like them better cooked too. We had some yummy roasted ones at Pepe’s cafe.
Key lime pie on a stick from Kermit’s is the bomb!
Its good! I love the Blue Heaven key lime pie 🤤
It doesn’t look too busy, what time of year was your trip?
This was filmed in December 😀
What was the weather like in December?

Bring the plate closer to you, do not bend down to the fork, bring fork up to you, a helpful hint is no not overload the fork. just sayin
Thanks 👍 any restaurants you love in Key West that we haven’t tried in the video?
If your boyfriend is happy tell him to let his face know lol.
😆 he doesn’t show much emotion and that’s fine.
Stouts is closed and sold. You didn't mention Herbie's or Island Fish
Are those places good? If so, we can check them out next time!
@@NickandJulie Herbies has the best comfort food around ,as well as one of the largest assortments of cold craft beer
Great video!! Good info as well!! ~~/)~~
Glad you liked it!
Music should be in the background!!!
The music is fine, thanks!
Key West is known for Wendy's
I forgot to add it 😭
