Seeing how his life was at risk after his father passed away and lee in jwa posing a threat since the time of his father, knowing how his younger was ki11ed by lee in jwa, seeing his politicans getting massacred because of groundless rumors (lee in jwa) behind them too, his brother almost coming close to slash1ng his throat, his party members plotting against him. I mean all of it has made him who he is now. This is realistic to me. Only few people can retain their humanity after going through such dark experiences. Yes he is wrong and I know his character has regressed but imo it's a realistic depiction of how these dark events can change even a good moral person into a paranoid person who can comprise his morals and justify his wrongdoings.
