- I tried to do a more serious run this time, and somehow pulled a deathless run.
There's still quite some more to improve here, but as for the impatient being that I am, this should be pretty much it.

idk if this is faster but in world 1-1 of jelly mario, the first pipe takes you to the secret zone that takes you to basically the end of the level, in the original it was the 4th pipe but they changed it for jelly mario
EDIT: I also just remembered that you can go through pipes by just hitting the side hard enough, might save more time
Did know that warp, but I thought it would be way slower since that route involves 3 sections to beat 1-1, and the game has pretty significant loading lag, along with Mario losing his momentum completely.
Although I didn't know that slamming the pipe can give you access to it XD
@@CsQ_RandomRepository Yeah, I figured that out on accident, if you hit it hard enough it will move the pipe out of the way of the loading zone and you can go into the secret area, I tested it a little after I made this comment and it is kinda precise but it's definitely possible and seems faster, I didn't time it though. What I got to work best was as soon as it loads, hold right and tap up, then tap up as mario starts to turn, and once when parallel to the ground, you should barely miss the goomba and have enough speed to warp through the pipe
It might take some tweeking but it should work, idk what to do for the sub world but shouldn't be too hard to get the same warp glitch to work
I will get a recording of it and post it if you want to see exactly what I do
I've found out some other interesting glitches just by messing around with this game, for example, you can fit mario into almost any block if you make him jump into it enough, even the sign at the beginning
EDIT: I just got all the way in and it seems only the outer blocks of it have collision, the inside is just normal air
@@adicsbtw And if you do exactly that on the vertical part of the end pipe you can clip through the wall and catch a glimpse of what the warp zone looks like.
The death barriers on out-of-bounds zones are way lower than the usual death barrier, so you can go under the warp zone and see its full glory. Entering the warp zone pipes from the other side warps Mario to 1-3. Unfinished place for sure, but something worth noting.
