If you hit the earshot buttons right as you're rounding the corners and flying up on him, it'll lower and fire the second you both see each other. Won't be as easy to dodge since the reaction time will be lowered.

At least in console, ranked matches are very active. I find a match approx every 10 seconds of matchmaking. If it takes longer i just re-queue and instant find. Non ranked on the other hand..

Every time I try to be more aggressive with them and perhaps build stagger with vientos or kick, I eventually end up losing the match. They simply have more AP than me and thus can take more hits like a champ 😢
I can’t wait for the tank AP hit. Crazy how everything else that was super heavy with a ton of AP got a 1k+ nerf but these tanks are dominating the leaderboards
I got frustrated with FROM's netcode and stopped at around B rank. Everytime someone shoots me it is like rolling dice to see if the projectile hits. I'm also a dual earshots enjoyer.
If my advice is worth anything, don't stop. Enjoy the game for what it is. I can feel your pain when you see a shot pass by you but still get hit. Maybe earshot is the answer for you too 😂
Thanks for your feedback my friend :3 The thing is that this is the build that i used to climb in S rank, and there are only a handful of builds that can decently compete against tanks. Tanks can AB as i do, dodge as i do, stagger as fast or faster as i do and do the same or more damage as i do. Add the LCB hit detection and netcode and you get the idea :3 S rank climb is not about who has the most ethical build, it's about how you can compete against your opponents build and right now, this is the build that if find most success against tanks. Obviously i have other more creative builds if you checkout some latest videos, but i saw no point on handicapping my self with them when i grinded for S rank. Also while i was doing it, i did not encounter any other lightweight carrying dual earshot so i guess that tells something :3
I use a similar build and use manual aiming to defeat tanks. Just kite them and manual aim since they are often too slow to even notice the shots being fired without audio feedback.
@@zhaizo what's worse is that there is at least one moment, which I checked frame by frame, where you get hit by lasers that you dodged practically at the same time as the warning appeared. About 17 frames of reaction time (counting since *very* start of visual cue and long before audio cue) plus fire animation and projectile travel is STILL not enough to make up for the network. This is insane.
I hate how the network issues practically forces you to play tanky, BVO's or kite/rat builds just to win. If only us AC players weren't spread far too thin across the globe
Regardless of ping however, is the games hit registration that does these whacky stuff. The hit registers if it happens in the attackers screen. So if you see you hit me in your screen but I dodge in mine, your hit will register. Imagine this elsewhere, for example football 😂 In my eyes it was a goal but in the goalkeepers he blocked 😂
@zhaizo that's why meta builds dominate over whatever creative build you use. The network favors certain weapons that are undodgeable. It's frustrating but for some reason im addicted to findint a build that beats the meta
Thats the rock paper scissor of the game. A lot of fights are won in the garage. Tanks/heavies usually beat cqc lightweight/medium, cqc lightweight/medium usually beat rats, and rats beat heavy/tanks
This is a small map so can't keep decent distant If you are not a kite. Add some latency and hit registration issues and you die from shots that never connected in your screen. Also this build is close range so can't do much else 😅
Eh really? I really like to keep the tanks and heavy close. I use similar build (Schneider frame with kasuari head and leg, dual viento and two truenos, with missile FCS). I straight come at them close to use vientos to stagger and launch the truenos. The only difficulties with my build are when facing those lightweights. In that case I'll kite them with truenos then vientos after.
@@asjoe444Close range lightweights are all about impact. If you can't stagger quickly, you're as good as dead. Vientos and Truenos are bread & butter for that very reason. It can start to feel stale, though.
Youd of done alot better against this guy if your build was faster and you actually used the cannons properly. You should focus on building up more stagger with your guns before you finish off the enemy stagger bar with twin earshots. Even staggering the earshots can be good as well. Fighting tanks as a lightweight is hard but the one you fought here wasnt overtuned enough to cause you this much trouble
Thanks for the tips. After many matches with this build I find viento too risky to build stagger bar on tanks so I just decided to just engage with earshot. The build as it stands, in order to get lighter but still keep dual earshot need to lose AP and defenses which is something I do not want 😊 I got some other clips that i do better 😁
@@zhaizoi dont like criticizing peoples play style but hes 100% right. Ive been playing with a very similar build to yours and you gotta stagger them first and get bith earshots direct hitting them. Personally i use handmissile to build stagger.

I would consider a kite build or a missile rat/boat a counter to vientos cause you know, i have to chase then. For me, tank with lasers and whatnot is not a counter but rather some sort of "i win button". At least i feel that, the effort that i put to play against them is more compared to the effort they put to play against lightweights, but i could be wrong :)

Fun fact: you can kick heavy weights to microstun them out of a charging animation, but you obviously have to get really close to do so

You're running vientos and you're upset about there being a couple counters to them.
