I've tried every single one of these tints. IMO Ciele tint is the most flattering, great coverage, long lasting tint I have ever tried on my mature ,more dry ,large pores. Smooths my orange peel areas and hyperpigmentation issues like no other and gives a amazing glow that plays soooo nice with light powder where you might need.
I have oily skin with large pores. Do you think it would work for me?
@@mels7360 I think so!!! You would definitely have to powder it but it plays so nicely with light powders like kosas or even with a stronger matte like huda. By Kristina Studio on youtube is another great creator to check and she is oily skin and loves the Ciele tint and has a video on it!!

I just got the new Lisa Eldridge skin tint and as someone who has found most skin tints to be a waste of my time bc they don’t do much, I am in LOVE with this one. It just somehow perfects my skin to where my melasma is less noticeable even though it isn’t covered. My skin just looks beautiful and healthy. I’m seriously obsessed

The fenty skin tint is my first and only tint and I absolutely love it! I have combination skin that both leans oily and has some texture and I find it blurs my skin nicely and doesn't look greasy. By the end of the day I do get more oily, but it ends up looking more like a natural glow to me. ALSO, I'm autistic and really struggle with thick textures on my skin and always disliked makeup as a result, but the fenty skin tint is so light that it made me really start to love doing my own makeup!
LOVE the fact you have natural freckles 🥰, not only are they gorgeous but they really help us see the coverage on the skin tints. Don’t ever get rid of them. People draw them on (I draw them on 😅) these days. Thank you for an awesome video! So much work went into this and it shows 💜
I have the fenty skin tint & it lasts all day on my oily skin! I agree on the blending too, I don’t feel rushed to blend quickly nor does it feel like it’s gonna slide off. And yes it can look a bit “cakey” at first (not in a terrible way) but my oily skin lessens it throughout the day.

I just bought the Lisa Eldridge skin tint and it is the best skin tint I ever tried and it comes in 18 shades.I have the shade T 6,in summer I will wear T8 or mix both together.
I've had the maybelline skin tint for a little while now but hadn't reached for it in ages. I was doing my mum's make up for an event and I was originally gonna put my armani luminous silk on her but she was curious about getting the maybelline skin tint so we decided to try it out. Looked so beautiful on her mature skin, gave her a stunning glow, evened out her tan AND COVERED ALMOST EVERYTHING. She had some blemishes that I thought I was going to have some trouble covering and I didn't even need do much concealing. I was so impressed I'm back to wearing it myself and am now adding it to my professional make up kit!

I have the Hourglass, Chanel Waterfresh Complexion Touch, Saie Slip Tint, and just received Lisa Eldridge Skin Tint. I have mature, textured, combo/oily, acne skin so my needs many. Let’s start with the LE: I love it! It’s light weight, thin, but pretty good coverage considering it’s a skin tint. It looks like my skin but better. I do have to use a high coverage concealer for my acne scars but other than that it’s perfect! Chanel: It a seamless blend that is lighter in coverage than the LE. It blends beautifully though. I use it when working out or to run errands. Hourglass: of all the tints I’ve tried this is my favorite so far. I can wear it all year and have it in two shades. I’ll see if the LE bumps it out of first place. Saie: Another YTer recommended this who has a similar skin type as me. It’s very long wearing and it doesn’t get greasy through out the day. It was the 1st skin tint I ever tried. I need to repurchase the Wet N Wild Tinted Hydratator because I used it all up. I didn’t realize that it was a skin tint. 😂 Thanks for the in depth video Morgan!!!!

Thank you for doing a video purely on skin tints! This is the type of product that can be really great if you've gotten to an age where you feel foundation tends to make you look worse overall (for me that was around the age of 35). I have to say that the Glossier one is great...I don't like their new foundation but love this skin tint. It has very little in terms of coverage but I never have to worry about making myself look worse by applying this, which takes no effort at all. It doesn't highlight dry patches or lines but actually helps blur them out. I don't find it overly dewy or drying. If it had SPF (and still sat so nicely on the skin) it would be perfect!
i love the saie one! i have dry skin, and i live in cali. i dont rub it onto the skin, i pump some onto my hand and then i take a finger and spread a lil bit on my face, dotting everywhere so its even. then i go in straight with a brush (i use the elf dual complexion). i agree, it doesnt have a great set down, but if you use a little bit of loose powder, it looks FLAWLESS. and, if you powder lightly, ou still get the set down with the glow shining through, not compromising the moisture level(it helps y dry skin, i dont look crusty at the end of the day)

I am 51 with extremely dry skin and the Saie has been a life saver. I think if you are very dry or mature like me the Saie and hourglass are great. If you are more normal to oily the saie may be too much for you. Love your channel!

As a skin tint freak, I very much appreciate this video. Glossier remains one of my favourites because it's shockingly buildable on my skin without ever becoming patchy and it lasts on me. It's just enough tint to even me out on good skin days. Of the recent releases, I'm liking Kosas (feels so hydrating, wears well, great color match), Lisa Eldridge (elegant formula, perfecting, does require that I fully prep my face beforehand), and Ciele (dewy but not greasy, perfecting, but such messy packaging.) The only ones I've absolutely loathed are Ilia (just does not work for me) and the new ABH balm tint. The ABH balm is the first makeup I am returning; it's that bad. 😢 I'm dry, mature skin, and live in a very dry climate.

How is the LE in comparison to Your best tint?
@lenka156 I wore it one day do far. I liked it but want a few more wears with it. I would still choose my Hourglass right now. The LE was super light coverage for me. I want to try another drop or two.
I loved the Saie one so much for extremely dry, eczema-prone skin! It’s my new holy grail. I’ve tried so many products that are described as hydrating and dewy but on my skin they turn completely matte by the end of the day. This is the only skin tint that keeps my skin looking super healthy and actually hydrated. But I can also say that anyone with anything but super dry skin will probably find it to be a tad too greasy
I absolutely love the Saie! Just finished it. My skin is really dry though. I have the Hourglass tint, but at the end of the day it goes matte on me, so a little dying then. I’ll use it up, but won’t repurchase.

I have oily/combo skin and love the L’Oreal true match nude tint. It works surprisingly well on my skin and is so effortless to use. Definitely use it with a brush or fingers as a sponge just soaks it up. Would love a tinted moisturizer version of this video as there is a plethora of products marketed as such that aren’t quite skin tints in my opinion.
I had the opposite experience! It set into my expression lines so horrible and slipped all over the face day long ! I was super shocked as everyone loves it but each with their own !😊
I prefer BB creams and skin tints or serums for summer heat. Full foundations are good in winter when you dont have the heat melting it off your face!😊

I know that Covergirl CG smoothers BB cream isn't technically a skin tint but it is amazing on the skin. It has beautiful coverage ,skin like while being light and not drying on the skin. It's a hidden gem. I also love the matte oily skin version . No one ever mentions it and I'm sad because it's an excellent OG product that is a equivalent to any skin tint on the market.
Oily skin and I use the tarte maracuja skintint in the purple packaging.
Works so well without feeling heavy.
i’m forever loyal to my purito bb cream! i might have to try that wetnwild tint cause it sounds like it checks the same boxes of affordable and decent coverage with a “my skin but better” effect! i have normal to dry skin with a fair amount of discoloration btw
I just purchased the wet n wild tint and have used it for a few days now. I have dry to normal skin too and it looks really nice. It does oxidize a little bit. Can't beat the price.

The only one I have is the *ILIA Super Serum Skin Tint* (SPF 40) drops. It’s great if you have dry skin, because it’s quite dewy, almost oily if you are too heavy handed with it. Good light-light/medium coverage. I use a regular sheer sunscreen under the tiny first, just to get a full base layer of protection first, then I layer the tint on top. That’s the thing about foundations/tints/BB creams with SPF; if you were to use the amount you actually need for good SPF protection, you’d look CRAZY due to having a thick layer of color on your face.
You covered a lot of great ones! I'd also add: MAC Face & Body, Beauty Blender and Ciele (desert skin). I've heard great things about the Iconic.
MAC Face and Body- to me, the best foundation ever! Every time I try another foundation, I ask myself WHY? Its amazing!
Love the Iconic London Skin Tint and I only really like skin tints in the summer. My skin is very dry and sensitive with hyperpigmentation and the Iconic skin tint really makes my skin look smooth and even.
As an oily skin girl, the Maybelline skin tint is literal FIRE. Lasts all day long and doesn't look oily. And although the Wet n Wild Tinted hydrator is hydrating, I find that it still looks so beautiful on my skin. Just set with an awesome powder and you're gold. 😊❤
The Maybelline skin tone is such a strange product. It's a lot more coverage than a skin tint and the fact that it's self-setting is not something that is normally in the tint category. It feels like I missed marketed product

MAC foundation pump fits both the L’Oreal and Maybelline tints (in place of the dropper). SO MUCH CLEANER!
Pumps from Amazon will also fit all bottles that have the droppers. I bought mine for my Estée Lauder DW original which doesn’t have a pump. 😊

I have a very dry slightly mature skin.
I'm fairly new to skin tints. I've only tried 1 for about 4 months. I have an oily t zone and normal skin everywhere else. I use the loreal skin tint, and i love it! Good coverage, but not heavy, and sets well. When i do get oily, i just blot my face, and it does not disrupt the makeup. I'll be picking up the wet and wild one and maybelline ones, too.
I was hoping to see the new Live Tinted Hueguard skin tint in the video. I just got it last week and absolutely love it.
Hourglass skin tint and It cosmetics nude Glow are my faves...Hourglass in the centre and It cosmetics blended in on the outer portion of my face 👌🏾

I'm 52 and have ultra dry (and somewhat sensitive) skin; my local summer's include both high humidity and high heat. For summer, my go-to face products that do the best for me (ie offset skin and climate) are: Josie Maran's Argan Face Milk, and either Dr Jart's BB Cream (what I used last couple summers) or Danessa Myrick's Tint (haven't tried this out in super humid/hot yet, though) 💚
BTW - I mentioned the JM Milk, because last summer all my moisturizer felt way too heavy and clogging (without using anything on top of it); this was the only (okay and first, as once I discovered it worked perfect for me, I stopped looking) I found that fit my needs. I.E. - Including in case it may help someone else...

I bought the Saie slip tint because a more mature influencer recommended it. I have mature skin as well so assumed I’d love it. I hated it. It’s exactly as you described. It feels clotted somehow and for me, with dry skin, it never dried down. It remained not glowy, but greasy looking and sticky all day. I tried for weeks to get it to work but finally just pitched it. I use a tinted sunscreen now (Colorscience) and it’s much better for me.
I have combo skin and I love the Hourglass, Danessa Myricks, Caliray, Beauty Blender, wet n wild hydrator, loreal skin tint, chanel water fresh complexion, I also liked the iconic london skin tint. I want to try Lisa eldrige and ciele next. (Not that I need anymore) its a problem.😅

My all-time favourite skin tint is the Lancôme Skin Feel So Good. It is hydrating, mattifying and illuminates the skin in a very beautiful way.
I love this one so much too, including the scent. It is so overlooked and I’ve always wondered why. Sadly though, I think they may be discontinuing it, so stock up if you love it.

Same! Even using a curler, my lashes are so straight. I recently bought L’Oréal’s Panorama mascara waterproof and it literally curls my lashes.

My skin is combo with very oily bits 😉. I find the Laura Mercier oilfree skin tint too greasy on my skin. I love the Fenty eaze drops and hourglass skin tint.

Mature skin weighing in here…that Wet n Wild tinted hydration is absolutely fantastic. I have both Light and Light Medium.
I have oily skin and I’ve been using the e.l.f. Halo Glow Liquid Filter as a skin tint. I typically pair it with my Tower28 Serum Concealer. The Halo Glow gives my skin a nice healthy glow while the concealer gives me coverage where I need it most :)
Very interesting, I have dry skin and love the Ilia skin tint - it gives nice coverage, blends out well and gives a glow. Probably because my skin is so dry !
I would really like to see Skin Tints with a higher SPF. I think of skin tints as what to wear in the summer.
It’s nice to put away our full coverage, foundations and slap on an SPF skin tint to even have the skin and go on with our day.
The Chantecaille with its SPF 15 is like why bother.
I do like a luminous sunscreen in the summer with a little cream blush, some mascara, and go.. easy and pretty
Try the Ciele! It’s SPF 50+
To get adequate spf coverage, you need a full ¼ tsp of product on your face-if you tried to get that through makeup you’d look comical. SPF in makeup is always just a bonus, no matter what the number slapped on the bottle is.
You should try the Chanel that’s like the rose inc the Chanel one is so so beautiful is unreal. I have tried tons of foundations and skin tints but that never is just another level, really try it you will loveeee it ❤

I have combination leaning towards dry skin type and my fave is MAC Face and Body for years. It’s amazing: light but buildable coverage, natural luminous finish, long lasting and easy to use. I have Chanel water tint and it’s okay but not enough for me to justify that price tag. And I just got new Lisa Eldridge tint, I hope I love it.
❤ I absolutely loved your insight to skin tints! Hands down!!! With that being said, I am a mature individual with normal to dry skin. I tried Wet n Wilds barefocus skin tint with 5% niacinamide. It too is absolute fire! I work in the medical field around heat and steam and this product holds up extremely nicely! My face looked gorgeous throughout my ten hour shift! Would recommend this product to everyone but especially mature skin type.
Rose Inc is truly my holy grail 😂 I pump a little into my fingers and rub my fingers together and then apply and it’s always such a flawless beautiful application! I’ve used it for 2 years now and cannot get enough of it.

I seem to struggle with the hourglass skin tint some times. It feels heavier on my skin and sometimes just feels like a normal moisturizer VS skin tint. I keep trying to make it work though!

If you haven't tried Purlisse I highly recommend it. It's a tinted moisturizer with skincare. They also have blush and concealer.
I have the hourglass and when you applied it, it looks the same as on me: I don’t feel it gets absorbed into the skin, instead it sits on top of the skin so everyone can “see” you have a foundation on your skin because you see patches of color.
Same issue for me and it also had no coverage so it wasn't flattering in any way for me

Try putting a TINY bit of the Ilia with a dense brush. (I use the red clover shaped Shiseido one.) Looks incredibly natural. I have oily skin, but, if applied this way, I love it.

Beauty Blender Skin Tint is one of the best! The first to I purchased it I went to Sephora to purchase the Kosas Face Oil. I hated the Kosas which the Beauty Advisor applied. The Beauty Advisor recommended trying the Beauty Blender Skin Tint. That might have been the all time best recommendation! I have repurchased it 3 times and will continue to repurchase it.
I’ve only ever used the following: primer, concealer, foundation, and blush…I try to keep things as sweet and simple as possible.😊
I mix the Fenti and Summer Fridays skin tint and when in doubt that’s always my bullet proof foundation.

Thank you for this, being super incredibly oily, I’ve stayed away from skin tints since 99% of them are usually dewy and hydrating. I was recommended the saie skin tint at Sephora and I couldn’t figure out why my blush melts off everytime I wear it 😂 your explanation makes much more sense now

Ciele is my holy grail!! If you have large pore issues Dynessa was not very kind for me like Ciele tint but if you don't have that it is very nice and has a pretty satin finish as it looked beautiful on my smooth areas

I would love to try danessa myricks yummy skin but it seems to be too yellow for fair complexions
The glossier one is for people like me. It’s the only “makeup” I wear since I don’t want any coverage, but an even complexion in the corporate world. This doesn’t wear long but it’s beautiful ❤

Combination skin, Oily T zone. used to be a total oil queen, but ahhhh we all age. I have used Kosas, Laura Mercier and Hourglass. I love Laura and will pick up another soon. I want to try the new Supergoop protectint, but, very worried about shade match, which means a stop to Sephora. Kosas seems great, once I found a shade. Hourglass I am worried about my shade but enjoyed it for as long as it lasted on my skin, last summer. Hope this helped. Really interested in Fenty now.. and saving up to use Chantecaille, but love LOVE their Future skin! Hope my experiences help.
Wow dear Morgan, what a super video, and so much work for you👏👏🤩🤩👏👏🤩🤩, and i can imagine your face had to take break, when i used makeup (not everyday) my skin is always more dry, i take extra good care of it. I loved this overview!!! I purchased the ones from Hourglass and DM, could not try yet. What i love, is mostly medium coverage foundation because of my redness. But when i use a skintint, it's the Chantecaille, or the Chantecaille Future Foundation, i know, foundation, but so light weight, sort gel texture, but i think you know it. Yes, addicted to Chantecaille skincare here, the last 3 upto 4 years, before that time i always used Clinique for decades, was satisfied, but getting a bit older (53 now), i got tired of the alcohol in it, although fragrance free. Chantecaille is a splurge, i only purchase it when there are good sales, but it's amazing! Further i love the Sisley Tinted Moisturizer so much, i think the most, until now! But the shade range, they really have to work on that. I ordered the Lisa Eldridge, and think i want to try the Kosas as well! Thanks for this very helpful video, Morgan!!!😘😘😘😘

The true match looked so beautiful on you. Most of them did. Love your content. The wet n wild is my all time fave too. I miss the cushion foundation it was my favorite too. Love that one so much. Unfortunately the denessa myricks did not work for me. I wanted to love it but it looks so heavy on me.

Congratulations on 300 K subscribers Morgan ! I think i'm one of the fewer people on which L'ORÉAL didn't worked, it set into my expression lines and moved all day on my face, also not much left after 5 hours ! Each with their own, skin tints aren't my jam , i like medium coverage !😊
I actually think the L’Oréal True Nude looked so beautiful on you. I tend to lean away from drug store skin tints/foundation and I didn’t think I would be saying this. But geez it looked so nice.
I'm mad because too faced discontinued my favorite skin tint, but the wet n wild bare focus niacnamide skin tint that just came out is AhhhhMazing!!!! I've tried the covergirl one with the balls and it clings to my dry patches, so I don't like it that much but I can make it look ok if I used it as primer under my Laura Gellar powder foundation. So I at least found a use for it so that I'm not wasting $20

I know it's an older formula, but I still love the Nars tinted moisturizer. It's that rare product that actually has true cool tones for the ghostly pale among us, and it lasts all day, even with my kitchen job.
