To be honest I always understood the villian as a kid and even wanted them to win sometimes and as I get older I think of some of them as the hero Lucifer, Prometheus, Joker, Scar, Thanos, DarthVador etc.

Antiheroes aren't evil, typically they're survivors in a hostile environment. Often they're morally neutral, but with a hint of good. Think of Riddick.

Suddenly the little villain inside me is summoned after listening to this, surprisingly to start my homework. So it triggered me out of my mental breakdown., tsk.tsk.
Daryan's eyes smoldered with the dark fire of memory, though clearly as he wished to color it. The Prophet listened, as he recounted the day when his change came; he knew he was listening to the tale of a fallen savior. "I wished to be free of the pain I had known since the day of my Awakening. The 'pristine memory' the Awakened enjoy is not a gift, but an anachronistic hell, ever as likely to set us on a quantum journey into or suffering as to free us from it." He turned and faced the Prophet, his gaze lowered, his tone severe. "I had come up with a plan to forever unshackle my mind and heart from the torment of such nostalgia," he said, pausing for a moment, before continuing, "and to liberate myself from the swell of emotion that poisoned me with such sentiment. If such flawless empathy as I had been.... gifted.... could allow me to tap into the pain of all humanity, on my world, I would use it to drown out what haunted me." He spat the words with such defiance, and resentment, "Like anything, intense sensation, experienced for long enough, could build my tolerance to suffering, and dull the stubborn recollection of the loss of those I loved." Daryan broke a small, almost devious smile. "If I could not escape it, then I would kill it." The Prophet recoiled as Daryan's hand lanced out to lay on his forehead, sharing a glimpse into his past, and of the moment he spoke. Daryan had used his abilities, shared by all the Awakened, to intermingle the memories of the deaths of his parents and sister, and of the Void he perceived in death, with all the suffering of every living creature on his world. He attempted this, in vain, several times before being overcome, and slipping back to present consciousness. Then, eventually and with greater resolve, he dove deeper, accelerating the experience to a level nigh imperceptible to the Prophet's own mind. Through quantum recall, he lived this self-imposed nightmare for what seemed a thousand years, passing in mere moments in the physical world. As he bore witness to this shared moment, so rudely inflicted by his host, he watched as Daryan's eyes began to change, held open in agony as the gold light enflaming them began to dilate outward, replaced with a darkness born of the void that formed in it's wake, purple and black, and so deep as to seem bottomless. As he witnessed, in the distant past, this transformation, he could feel all Daryan's empathy bleed away, the darkness now commanding the space where once was light, wreathed so thinly by what little light remained as to seem uncanny, and almost non-existent. As the process was completed, dark energy coalesced with violent purpose, flowing into Daryan's form, before focusing on a his slowly clenching fists. As the revenant blackness seemed to reach singularity's pitch, his fists snapped shut. Daryan's eyes closed. When finally they opened again, the darkness seemed to radiate from them, the searing gold bordering them unstable, and seeming to tremble with power. However, as a subtle smile crept across his lips, it was obvious that all that had been pure in him had fled: Daryan had broken himself, emptying out what had filled him. With a gasp, coming back to the present, the Prophet collapsed, falling to his hands and knees. He fought for air, sucking it in as the oppressive grip of the experience seemed to clench his lungs and even his consciousness. He fought to steady himself, and to find calm, fear gripping him now, in realization of the resolve, motivation, and callousness possessed by the Ascended before him. "You," he choked out, "-you killed yourself, inside, to escape your love, and your pain at their passing.... why would you do that?" Daryan knelt before him, the Prophet pulling back slightly, having seen what this entity, once a man - but now, perhaps, something else entirely - had become, and for the first time feeling true dread of him. He shook his head at the Prophet, sighing, with almost comedic exasperation. "Have you not listened to anything I told you?," he chided, impatient with the mortal man's seeming misunderstanding. "There is NOTHING beyond the so-called 'Veil.' I have shed all that was not needed, that I might not be swayed from my course. Not empathy, or feeling, or emotion, or misguided sentimentality. I will SAVE humanity from its annihilation by perfecting it. Through suffering, through war, through pain, and loss.... they will become endless.". He rose, slowly, looking down upon him, and added, somewhat insulted, "You should all be thanking me." The Prophet rose, unsteady, stumbling slightly back, eager to keep his distance from Daryan. "By killing all that's good in this world, in us, you would save us? You're mad." Daryan strode toward him angrily, not touching him, but backing him up against the wall, bound there by fear as powerful as any force the Prophet had ever felt. Daryan stared straight into him, even through him, and simply said, "Madness or not, this is why your precious savior is false. I am beyond death, and beyond him, and no matter what you believe of HIM.... he cannot kill me. Nothing can."
The only thing that seperates a hero from a villain is whether tragedy is their reason to protect or their reason to destroy. And one day all heroes live long enough to realize how pointless it is to protect. And one day all villains realize how pointless it is to destroy. does that change them or their goals? yes and no after all there is fundamentally no difference between a hero and a villain. It depends on whats right and wrong. And something that you may notice...the biggest question asked by many a men... you see...nobody actually gets to decide whats right and wrong. And conversely everyone does.
Ah, the comments section. Just the right blend of cringe and edge. Credge. I love reading the comments on these types of videos, tbh. I'm currently working on a sequel to my book (dark fantasy hero's journey) that is more antihero focused. I've been trying to cope with a lot of stress and general anxiety issues lately, and I find that writing dark stories helps a bit. So yes, I'm just as much a part of the Credge as anyone else here.

I ,the reader(21 years) know only of one ...the label that encompasses both great good and great evil . The label that elicits hope and fear . The label that bears with it honor and glory ....and shame and despair . The label that carries the most beautiful dreams and the most horrific nightmares . For in this name is wickedness and cruelty . In this name is kindness and compassion. In this name there is love . In this name there is hate . For in this name *There is choice* The label befitting both a hero and a villain ... to me ... that label is . *Human* It is only a human that can walk the path of evil and pain and suffering . It is only a human that can walk the path of goodness kindness and love . Only a human has the free will to at any moment stop being a monster and choose to be better . It is only a human that at any moment can give into hate and choose to stop being virtuous and choose to be a monster. It is our choices that make us who are. Day in day out we make choices that shape us into either heroes or villains. And he who chooses neither is among the worst . There is no such thing as neutrality . Not choosing is still making a choice. For neutrality in the face of evil is evil itself . For silence only favors the oppressors. There is no running from it. We are who choose to be. Let us choose to be humane . Not the species but the act ...of Compassion. You ask what label befits a man who walked both paths . I say Human. For we all have made mistakes.We all have hurt people and ourselves. We all have caused others to suffer. We all are villains. Yet so to we all have caused growth . In others and ourselves. We all have and do care for people. We all have sacrificed for others. So my friend... I end with this. We all have caused others to cry & We all have caused others to smile... What matters is what we choose . Do we choose to be the villain who is evil ,when he has every reason NOT to be... Or Do we choose to be the hero who is good , even though he has every reason Not to be. Some would call the landscape he looked to horrible,evil. Many would even call it apocalyptic. But now,as he looked through the window of the palace that was once inhabited by his greatest foes,he saw only glory and triumph. For himself,and his empire. Snow had never touched this land before as it was so completely protected by light. By the sun. Now as he looked at the blizzard he had caused,as he stared at the snowflakes eternally mounting on the ground,he chuckled to himself at the almost poetic nature of everything that had happened. The snow was a symbol of all their protections being vanquished. They held him at bay for so long,annoyingly so. Even though he had taken half the continent,he still couldnt take on the allied free nations. Now after so long,he had suceeded. Not only in finishing his conquest of the continent,but in taking out his worst foes. The leaders of the free lands. The Guardians. They were but statues now,in her-his throne room. Victims of their own pride. Horror and fear eternally etched on their faces. Surrounding his throne like the trophies they were. The gemstones that gave them so much power were now his,and he had handed them out to others,others worthy of their might. One trophy was missing. Their leader. The Enchantress. His once best friend. And as he looked toward the never ending blizzard of his making,his resolve grew. He would find her,no matter what it took. She would not hide for much longer. Whatever obscure corner of the world she had fled to,he would catch her. And once he did,he would rip that accursed Prism out of her hands,turn her to stone and then become the Prism-bearer. A God. With its strength he would spread his Empire to all other continents,until everything and everyone was united under one banner. The banner of the Blood Moon. Then,only then would he free them of their prisons of stone. He would let them look upon the land they wanted so much to protect,the land they loved,covered in ice and snow. He would show them the entire world,the world they wanted so desperately to preserve,subjugated to his might. And once they got a good,long look he would unite the power of the gemstones and Prism that once belonged to them,the ones that granted them the power to hold him at bay for as long as they did,the ones they were so attached to,to end their miserable exsitences. And then,he would bury their bodies deep within the snow,in some far off,unknown corner of the land to never be seen by a pair of eyes ever again. To be forgotten by all. The fate that they wanted so much to befall him,would catch up to them instead. And it would be exactly what they deserved.

I’m in love with the fact this is an Anti-Hero music collection, Amaterasu being the primary weapon an anime character called Itachi uses (Alongside genjutsu) whom is an Anti-Hero / Hero in the end.
We are all the protagonist of our own story. The hero to some and the unknown villain to someone else. All resources are limited and our consumption is someone's scarcity.
Vero, the king of all gods, the ruler of mankind, the shapeshifter of destiny himself wasn’t always as strong and fearless as everyone seen him as. As a boy Vero grew up being bullied in school. Vero got picked on in every single school that he went to by different groups of bullies. Choked, slapped, thrown into the trash can, pants infront of everyone, you name it Vero has been through it. As harsh as people were to Vero, Vero never seemed to show not even as so much as a balled fist. Vero has always remained calm and kept his anger at bay not because he couldn’t protect himself but because of the fact that others wouldn’t stand a chance against him in a fight. Vero has always shown empathy for those in need, for the helpless and for people going through troubled times. Although Vero has been bullied, Vero never hated his bullies. Vero never disliked nor resented his bullies; instead, Vero had empathy for his bullies…except for this one day. Walking into the school building, Vero begun to strut down the hallway. As usual people were having conversations amongst themselves, teachers were roaming the halls and kids were running around play fighting. Vero stopping for a drink at the water fountain heard a bit of commotion coming from the boys restroom. “Get him boys, show him who’s boss.” Intrigued by this Vero begun to walk into the boys bathroom where he seen five boys surrounding another boy who appeared to be crouched down on the floor with his arms above his head shielding his head in a way. At this moment Vero begun to feel anger for the first time in his life and with a loud voice Vero shouted “Move away from the boy and leave him alone.” With a confused facial expression all five boys turned around to discover Vero standing there all alone. All five boys started laughing, making fun of Vero calling him a pip squeak, a midget, a little boy, a cry baby. With no reaction from Vero the boys went from laughing to becoming serious. These five boys started approaching Vero. Closer and closer to Vero they got till it reached a point where all five boys were surrounding Vero. Vero looking down at the ground began to question these five boys that surrounded him. “What is it that you see in yourself that causes you to bully others? Confused by his question the five boys began to start shouting at Vero calling him weak, stupid, dumb, and a good for nothing loser. Vero began to laugh with no control. Offended by his laughter, one of the boys cocked his fist back as if he was gathering up all of his strength to release it all in one blow. As the boy stood there cocking his fist back Vero slowly but surely lifted up his head and made eye contact with the boy that dare attempt to attack Vero. With eye contact as sharp as a predator about to pounce on it’s prey Vero stared the boy in his eyes. With fear striking the heart of the boy that cocked his fist back, the boy began to lower his arms. With disappointment striking the hearts of the four other boys, the other boys decided it would be a good idea to show Vero just how tough they are. Vero standing there in silence waiting for someone to hit him became even more angry. Vero begun to turn and look all boys in the eye one by one. With a gaze so powerful it could change destiny’s path itself, the boys lost their will to fight. Fleeing out of fear of death the boys quickly left the restroom. Crouching on the ground still was the young boy who had almost got beaten to a pulp had it not been for Vero. Vero walking up to the boy asked for his name. The boy lowering his arms replied to Vero thus saying “ I am him.” Confused by his answer Vero questioned him again “Who’re you? The boy looking up at Vero begun to smirk and transform into what appeared to be a giant. Wrecking the school bathroom, the once bullied boy transformed into a tall powerful giant. With sunlight now striking Vero, Vero uttered the words from his lips “You’ve made me do it.” Vero looking upwards towards the sky with arms wide open as if he were going to embrace something transformed into that of a celestial being. Eyes gleaming gold, hair appearing to be covered in flames, body appearing to be as bright as the sun stood Vero the king of all gods, the shapeshifter of humanity himself. Vero then said “this is him, this is Toruń, the creator of the universe himself.” Vero then stated to Toruń “time has come to an end for you, time has come for me to strip the light from your eyes away, time has come for me to face you and defeat you brother.” With courage Vero launched into the air ever so swiftly, Toruń seeing Vero in the air launched his arm to reach him and strike him down as if a person were trying to swat a fly. With deadly precision and agility Vero dodged Toruń’s attack. With tremendous speed came Toruń’s other arm extending to reach Vero. Without trying to dodge the attack Vero speeding up and heading straight toward Toruń’s arm came closer and closer to Toruń’s arm , within inches of contact Sûn appeared out of the blue , causing the sky to go completely black. In that moment fighting between Vero and Toruń came to a halt as they both knew they now had a bigger problem to deal with . Sûn ready to destroy them both uttered the words “Come my brothers, let us see who is strongest.”

Antiheroes aren't evil, typically they're survivors in a hostile environment. Often they're morally neutral, but with a hint of good. Think of Riddick.

We live in a world where people secretly like Monsters....but act like they hate them...
We all have that beast trapped within. It's just the matter of how long we can cage it within us before it breaks free.
Suddenly the little villain inside me is summoned after listening to this, surprisingly to start my homework. So it triggered me out of my mental breakdown., tsk.tsk.
Daryan's eyes smoldered with the dark fire of memory, though clearly as he wished to color it. The Prophet listened, as he recounted the day when his change came; he knew he was listening to the tale of a fallen savior.
"I wished to be free of the pain I had known since the day of my Awakening. The 'pristine memory' the Awakened enjoy is not a gift, but an anachronistic hell, ever as likely to set us on a quantum journey into or suffering as to free us from it." He turned and faced the Prophet, his gaze lowered, his tone severe. "I had come up with a plan to forever unshackle my mind and heart from the torment of such nostalgia," he said, pausing for a moment, before continuing, "and to liberate myself from the swell of emotion that poisoned me with such sentiment. If such flawless empathy as I had been.... gifted.... could allow me to tap into the pain of all humanity, on my world, I would use it to drown out what haunted me." He spat the words with such defiance, and resentment, "Like anything, intense sensation, experienced for long enough, could build my tolerance to suffering, and dull the stubborn recollection of the loss of those I loved."
Daryan broke a small, almost devious smile. "If I could not escape it, then I would kill it."
The Prophet recoiled as Daryan's hand lanced out to lay on his forehead, sharing a glimpse into his past, and of the moment he spoke. Daryan had used his abilities, shared by all the Awakened, to intermingle the memories of the deaths of his parents and sister, and of the Void he perceived in death, with all the suffering of every living creature on his world. He attempted this, in vain, several times before being overcome, and slipping back to present consciousness. Then, eventually and with greater resolve, he dove deeper, accelerating the experience to a level nigh imperceptible to the Prophet's own mind. Through quantum recall, he lived this self-imposed nightmare for what seemed a thousand years, passing in mere moments in the physical world.
As he bore witness to this shared moment, so rudely inflicted by his host, he watched as Daryan's eyes began to change, held open in agony as the gold light enflaming them began to dilate outward, replaced with a darkness born of the void that formed in it's wake, purple and black, and so deep as to seem bottomless. As he witnessed, in the distant past, this transformation, he could feel all Daryan's empathy bleed away, the darkness now commanding the space where once was light, wreathed so thinly by what little light remained as to seem uncanny, and almost non-existent.
As the process was completed, dark energy coalesced with violent purpose, flowing into Daryan's form, before focusing on a his slowly clenching fists. As the revenant blackness seemed to reach singularity's pitch, his fists snapped shut. Daryan's eyes closed. When finally they opened again, the darkness seemed to radiate from them, the searing gold bordering them unstable, and seeming to tremble with power. However, as a subtle smile crept across his lips, it was obvious that all that had been pure in him had fled: Daryan had broken himself, emptying out what had filled him.
With a gasp, coming back to the present, the Prophet collapsed, falling to his hands and knees. He fought for air, sucking it in as the oppressive grip of the experience seemed to clench his lungs and even his consciousness. He fought to steady himself, and to find calm, fear gripping him now, in realization of the resolve, motivation, and callousness possessed by the Ascended before him. "You," he choked out, "-you killed yourself, inside, to escape your love, and your pain at their passing.... why would you do that?"
Daryan knelt before him, the Prophet pulling back slightly, having seen what this entity, once a man - but now, perhaps, something else entirely - had become, and for the first time feeling true dread of him. He shook his head at the Prophet, sighing, with almost comedic exasperation. "Have you not listened to anything I told you?," he chided, impatient with the mortal man's seeming misunderstanding. "There is NOTHING beyond the so-called 'Veil.' I have shed all that was not needed, that I might not be swayed from my course. Not empathy, or feeling, or emotion, or misguided sentimentality. I will SAVE humanity from its annihilation by perfecting it. Through suffering, through war, through pain, and loss.... they will become endless.". He rose, slowly, looking down upon him, and added, somewhat insulted, "You should all be thanking me."
The Prophet rose, unsteady, stumbling slightly back, eager to keep his distance from Daryan. "By killing all that's good in this world, in us, you would save us? You're mad."
Daryan strode toward him angrily, not touching him, but backing him up against the wall, bound there by fear as powerful as any force the Prophet had ever felt. Daryan stared straight into him, even through him, and simply said, "Madness or not, this is why your precious savior is false. I am beyond death, and beyond him, and no matter what you believe of HIM.... he cannot kill me. Nothing can."

after all there is fundamentally no difference between a hero and a villain. It depends on whats right and wrong. And something that you may notice...the biggest question asked by many a men... you see...nobody actually gets to decide whats right and wrong. And conversely everyone does.

I love reading the comments on these types of videos, tbh. I'm currently working on a sequel to my book (dark fantasy hero's journey) that is more antihero focused. I've been trying to cope with a lot of stress and general anxiety issues lately, and I find that writing dark stories helps a bit. So yes, I'm just as much a part of the Credge as anyone else here.

Some would call the landscape he looked to horrible,evil. Many would even call it apocalyptic. But now,as he looked through the window of the palace that was once inhabited by his greatest foes,he saw only glory and triumph. For himself,and his empire. Snow had never touched this land before as it was so completely protected by light. By the sun. Now as he looked at the blizzard he had caused,as he stared at the snowflakes eternally mounting on the ground,he chuckled to himself at the almost poetic nature of everything that had happened.
The snow was a symbol of all their protections being vanquished. They held him at bay for so long,annoyingly so. Even though he had taken half the continent,he still couldnt take on the allied free nations. Now after so long,he had suceeded. Not only in finishing his conquest of the continent,but in taking out his worst foes. The leaders of the free lands. The Guardians.
They were but statues now,in her-his throne room. Victims of their own pride. Horror and fear eternally etched on their faces. Surrounding his throne like the trophies they were. The gemstones that gave them so much power were now his,and he had handed them out to others,others worthy of their might.
One trophy was missing. Their leader. The Enchantress. His once best friend. And as he looked toward the never ending blizzard of his making,his resolve grew. He would find her,no matter what it took. She would not hide for much longer. Whatever obscure corner of the world she had fled to,he would catch her. And once he did,he would rip that accursed Prism out of her hands,turn her to stone and then become the Prism-bearer. A God. With its strength he would spread his Empire to all other continents,until everything and everyone was united under one banner. The banner of the Blood Moon.
Then,only then would he free them of their prisons of stone. He would let them look upon the land they wanted so much to protect,the land they loved,covered in ice and snow. He would show them the entire world,the world they wanted so desperately to preserve,subjugated to his might. And once they got a good,long look he would unite the power of the gemstones and Prism that once belonged to them,the ones that granted them the power to hold him at bay for as long as they did,the ones they were so attached to,to end their miserable exsitences. And then,he would bury their bodies deep within the snow,in some far off,unknown corner of the land to never be seen by a pair of eyes ever again. To be forgotten by all.
The fate that they wanted so much to befall him,would catch up to them instead. And it would be exactly what they deserved.

We are all the protagonist of our own story. The hero to some and the unknown villain to someone else. All resources are limited and our consumption is someone's scarcity.
Vero, the king of all gods, the ruler of mankind, the shapeshifter of destiny himself wasn’t always as strong and fearless as everyone seen him as. As a boy Vero grew up being bullied in school. Vero got picked on in every single school that he went to by different groups of bullies. Choked, slapped, thrown into the trash can, pants infront of everyone, you name it Vero has been through it. As harsh as people were to Vero, Vero never seemed to show not even as so much as a balled fist. Vero has always remained calm and kept his anger at bay not because he couldn’t protect himself but because of the fact that others wouldn’t stand a chance against him in a fight. Vero has always shown empathy for those in need, for the helpless and for people going through troubled times. Although Vero has been bullied, Vero never hated his bullies. Vero never disliked nor resented his bullies; instead, Vero had empathy for his bullies…except for this one day. Walking into the school building, Vero begun to strut down the hallway. As usual people were having conversations amongst themselves, teachers were roaming the halls and kids were running around play fighting. Vero stopping for a drink at the water fountain heard a bit of commotion coming from the boys restroom. “Get him boys, show him who’s boss.” Intrigued by this Vero begun to walk into the boys bathroom where he seen five boys surrounding another boy who appeared to be crouched down on the floor with his arms above his head shielding his head in a way. At this moment Vero begun to feel anger for the first time in his life and with a loud voice Vero shouted “Move away from the boy and leave him alone.” With a confused facial expression all five boys turned around to discover Vero standing there all alone. All five boys started laughing, making fun of Vero calling him a pip squeak, a midget, a little boy, a cry baby. With no reaction from Vero the boys went from laughing to becoming serious. These five boys started approaching Vero. Closer and closer to Vero they got till it reached a point where all five boys were surrounding Vero. Vero looking down at the ground began to question these five boys that surrounded him. “What is it that you see in yourself that causes you to bully others? Confused by his question the five boys began to start shouting at Vero calling him weak, stupid, dumb, and a good for nothing loser. Vero began to laugh with no control. Offended by his laughter, one of the boys cocked his fist back as if he was gathering up all of his strength to release it all in one blow. As the boy stood there cocking his fist back Vero slowly but surely lifted up his head and made eye contact with the boy that dare attempt to attack Vero. With eye contact as sharp as a predator about to pounce on it’s prey Vero stared the boy in his eyes. With fear striking the heart of the boy that cocked his fist back, the boy began to lower his arms. With disappointment striking the hearts of the four other boys, the other boys decided it would be a good idea to show Vero just how tough they are. Vero standing there in silence waiting for someone to hit him became even more angry. Vero begun to turn and look all boys in the eye one by one. With a gaze so powerful it could change destiny’s path itself, the boys lost their will to fight. Fleeing out of fear of death the boys quickly left the restroom. Crouching on the ground still was the young boy who had almost got beaten to a pulp had it not been for Vero. Vero walking up to the boy asked for his name. The boy lowering his arms replied to Vero thus saying “ I am him.” Confused by his answer Vero questioned him again “Who’re you? The boy looking up at Vero begun to smirk and transform into what appeared to be a giant. Wrecking the school bathroom, the once bullied boy transformed into a tall powerful giant. With sunlight now striking Vero, Vero uttered the words from his lips “You’ve made me do it.” Vero looking upwards towards the sky with arms wide open as if he were going to embrace something transformed into that of a celestial being. Eyes gleaming gold, hair appearing to be covered in flames, body appearing to be as bright as the sun stood Vero the king of all gods, the shapeshifter of humanity himself. Vero then said “this is him, this is Toruń, the creator of the universe himself.” Vero then stated to Toruń “time has come to an end for you, time has come for me to strip the light from your eyes away, time has come for me to face you and defeat you brother.” With courage Vero launched into the air ever so swiftly, Toruń seeing Vero in the air launched his arm to reach him and strike him down as if a person were trying to swat a fly. With deadly precision and agility Vero dodged Toruń’s attack. With tremendous speed came Toruń’s other arm extending to reach Vero. Without trying to dodge the attack Vero speeding up and heading straight toward Toruń’s arm came closer and closer to Toruń’s arm , within inches of contact Sûn appeared out of the blue , causing the sky to go completely black. In that moment fighting between Vero and Toruń came to a halt as they both knew they now had a bigger problem to deal with . Sûn ready to destroy them both uttered the words “Come my brothers, let us see who is strongest.”
