@@christanis4637 i tried that, made it a little darker but still pretty light even on an opaque white disc. Im using the pro chem dies and elmers clear glue, put the entire baggie of die in maybe 2 oz of acetone
Happy thanksgiving! Can’t wait to watch and learn! Edit: blowing with the straw makes such a cool effect. I love this What did you apply at the end, some type of sealer?
Any color suggestions for the blue-green color glow plastic (i.e. Sexton Firebirds, Jen Allen Teebirds, Barsby Eagles, etc.). I love your use of black, it makes the colors pop so much more.
Great video. Just wondering what glue you use? It looks very, how should I put it, "light dens" when you blow at it. I tried to copy your dye and I really struggle to get those nice thin black lines. My black tends to spread out much more when I apply it, and when I try to shape it up by using a straw it tends to get "blur out".
Love your dye process!! I do have one question. Do you typically not like to use your turntable to rotate your beds while dyeing or was that just for this video? I use mine for dyeing but did have to 3D print a jig to raise above the needle. You clearly have a strong process and have created some beautiful art!
My purple is never that vibrant and frequently washes right off, have not had this issue with the other colors even though everything is mixed to the same ratio. Anybody know why that would be? There is plenty of sediment in the bottom of my jar so I am pretty sure it is saturated.
@@discdyeingdotcom at first it was with prochem neon royal purple, and I made sure to mix the powder with a spoonful of hot water before adding acetone as I heard the neons really need heat to function properly. But since then I’ve picked up iDyePoly lilac as well, and while it’s behaving better than the neon, it still doesn’t hold the same saturation as the rest of my colors. Maybe I should try only 1 hour under the heat lamp instead of 2-3?
As always very charismatic and fun. Happy to see your business taking off!!
Thank you!😀
One of the most colorful pops I've seen, this was spectacular!
Thank you!
Sick work, you have found a good comliment oxf colors and it looks like it makes you very happy!
Bro, you do sick work. I bought that orange and purple wraith a few weeks ago. God it's dope!
Great Video! The HAT !!!!!!!!!!!!
So awesome. You do great work man. I have one of your discs in my bag and plan on adding more.
Thank you! And thank you for the support!
Awesome. I've been waiting to see your process! Great work as usual.
that looks freaking amazing man :O
i need to try this my self
Do it!😀
Damn, they always come out awesome! I have to find out why mine are super light even after 48 hours in the glue bed
Maybe more dye in your mixture?

I use blues, and reds, also neon green if its light enough
Wow! Epic!

Is the acetone and glue bed combo okay to go down the sick afterwards? How do you usually dispose of beds after
Have you ever tried a second dip with a new disc in the same glue ?
Not with the same dye. But yes you can definitely reuse glue.

Just the way I've always done it, no reason in particular
What kind of glue are you using? Can you tell me a list I need I want to do this right now lol
Why can't I get my black lines blown back together like yours lol. Is my mix percentage wrong or something. Could it be from reusing my glue?
What if you want to hot dip a stencil you cut out? If you do the glue bed after will if cover the stencil pattern that was hot dipped?
What kind of dye is that and what are you mixing with it or just going straight dye? Awesome work man
Pro chemical and dye. We sell kits on Discdyeing.com. I mix it with acetone
@@discdyeingdotcom Hi, in what proportion please. how many grams of color and how much acetone you mix😇 thanks❤️
Nice work. I have an issue, when I use a glue bed, I cannot keep the dye on top of the glue, it sinks and blends. Amy thoughts on this? Thanks
I'd have to see your process probably. I haven't had any problems with keeping the due on top
What do you mix with powder dye
typically i use acetone but you can also use denatured alcohol for hand painting
More like Mac daddy bombs
Awesome! What are you using to blow through? Is that a big syringe? More velocity than a drinking straw?
Yessir!
So when you tape mask, it's that with transfer tape? Do you tape over everything and then cut it out with a knife?
Yep pretty much!
Did you water down your glue? Seems runnier than the Elmer's clear glue I got.
Not usually although I may start since they've raised the price significantly
Do you sell discs or anything like that? Would love to rock a dye in my bag
Absolutely! Just go to DaddyMacDyes.com

What do you mix your dyes with? I can never seem to get a good color...
Acetone
