Ksenja, I feel like I’m witnessing your nose evolve closer to your Mom’s as you mature. I love it! We grow up to resemble aspects of our parents as we grow into adulthood. We start to understand them more. I smile every time you end up with a perfume that has florals and lean on the fresher side lol it’s very sweet 😊
The ending music is calming too and not overly loud! I know this might not matter for some people but it's a sensory thing for me and is super welcomed I can let the full video play and not rush to pause it to save my ears. 😆
I have all 4 Jackie Aina fragrances and I love them all. Hard to get and you remind me are my favorites from the line. Jackie and her fiancé created these perfumes together, so the bottles are supposed to be modeled after her engagement ring. I hate devotion, it smells like bug spray to me. Hard to get smells like if huffelpuff from house of sillage and ice lemon poundcake from bath & bodyworks had a baby. I just love it! People keep telling me I smell like cake or lemon cookies every time I wear it.
Oh good! I might have to try it now. I wasn’t a fan of Devotion. I get nauseous every time I try to wear it, but I really like Akro Bake and Iced Lemon Poundcake, so if it’s not similar to devotion then I need to try it asap! 😊
@lucibellasandverse It does not smell like devotion at all to me. If you can get to a Sephora, I would try it on the skin to see if you really like it.
I bought Hard To Get because it has this sweet fluffiness which is done so right! Devotion smelled like a crystalized lemon which I didn't prefer. Love HTG so much more!!!!
Whoa! I just searched this and it does. It reminded me (to a small extent) of Ange Ou Demon by Givenchy. Even the font is reminiscent. I prefer bottles that have the details on the bottom. But I also just like looking at glass so idk. 😅

Hard to get has a dry down problem. It goes kinda sour on me. Like it was almost there or something. However you remind me is everyday worthy! I also love NDA for nighttime.
I love devotion so I picked up Hard to get in a travel size. I’ve worn it twice and both times have gotten a migraine. The smell is lovely but something doesn’t work with my body.
The bottles are beautiful and could be used as a m*rder we*pon in the game CLUE and I'm here for that. 😂 The font and the fragrances aren't my style but a lot of people like them and they are diverse. I think her second launch will do much better after all the feedback - both positive and negative. She made a k*lling on this first launch (sold out!) so that's a plus for her and her bank account. People will always have something to say. Just brush it off when you can. My biggest... thought (?) was why the team deleted any critical comment and would block people just for saying they didn't like it. It seemed a little excessive to me to silence people who disagreed - BUT that's her channel and her business. She can do as she pleases. Thank you for the review!

if it costs so much why not wait, stack the money needed, and put out real quality? funmi did her big one with her fragrance. can't always make excuses for people just because you're afraid of them 😅😎 the perfumes are basic and boring. and no one in our community (the black community) besides psycho stans think she worked on these for years. its giving private label.

Hard to Get is amazing…. When I say every single woman at my job asked me about my scent. I would give it another try it lasts forever. I also got NDA but I’m a bit afraid of it for spring/summer because it might be too heavy and I get migraines.
The dry down of Devotion is so good. There's something kinda screechy at first but the dry down is buttery and sweet, I love it! I like to layer it with vanilla scents.

The bottles remind me of mugler’s alien, I think they’re cool. Before she launched the perfume she also had candles in Sephora; they weren’t for me but I definitely want to get the $25 perfume sample kit
They're not even available where I live so I'm not personally invested 🤣 BUT! The bottles are fine. I think what puts people off is the way the letters are designed and placed on the bottle itself. The shape is kinda awkward for the font and style they chose, IMO. Perhaps a simple square, minimalistic bottle would look better.

I said what I said because of specific things i’ve heard on social media being said about the fragrances and being this is my platform and I can say whatever I want, I wanted to reiterate what I said. Ive spoken ALOT worse about wayyyyy larger companies that I could clearly be “jumped” for and havent given a single f because I truly don’t care about the hate. This was just smth that was on my heart that I wanted to say and so I did. 😊
And listen, we don’t all have to be good at everything. They put out a product for the public, and it’s not very good. So it’s going to get criticized, lol.
