Hello Sri Manjunath. Very good upload. I would like to point out one factual error in either narration or the write-up you have written above, in calling the Thanjavur Bruhadeeshwarar the largest temple in the world. Area-wise the largest temple complex is Angkor Wat in Cambodia. But first, it is not a Hindu temple, now it is a Buddhist temple complex, and second, while it did began as a large temple for Lord Vishnu, it is now not a functioning temple. This makes, area-wise, the Srirangam Ranganatha the largest functioning temple i.e. it is the largest temple not just in India but the world in terms of sheer area and is also having an unbroken chain of worship for nearly 2000-2500 years now, after making a beginning as a small shrine. Even during the days of Muslim invasion and loot, worship did continue at the Srirangam Temple. But yes, it does have the feat of having (not the largest temple Vimana, but) the tallest vimanam over the sanctorium of any temple, anywhere. By the way have you done any picturization and video upload of the Srirangam Ranganatha temple?? It would be wonderful to see it. I think you will be very excited to see around 81 or 83 Shrines in total in the temple, which have been constructed in three different and distinct styles (though all three are within the Dravidian architectural idiom), i.e. Pallava, Pandya, Chola and a fourth style being that of the Hoysala style which can be seen in the Venugopala shrine just before entry into the main shrine through the Ranga Ranga gopura.
Also, the huge Nandi at the temple is constructed and erected during the Vijayanagara or Nayaka rule in Thanjavur. They also erected a shrine for Lord Subrahmanya.
Raja raj chola 1 built a magnificent temple. Lord shiva blessed his atma. Om namah shivaay, har har mahadev
In ancient days how these artistic structure s are made really really amazing
Really really amazing like to visit
People like you must visit this place once. Thank you very much.
