It is ridiculous how many dramas focus on this obsessive love which leads to suicide. Yes, this happens in real life but what they should portray is people moving on after losing love, learning to make new lives. All we see is obsessive stalking, blackmail and, finally, suicide. That is not love. It is an illness.
I mean I guess people could use it as a learning lesson.
I know, right? Every drama (regardless of the country), it's the same thing. There's at least one character constantly screaming about love when what they feel is NOT love whatsoever.
Laiba never mentioned what Haider wanted or how Haider felt. It was always what she wanted, how she feels. She didn't love him. He was a shiny toy or trophy she thought belonged to her and didn't want to see given to someone else. The fact Haider is the one who didn't want her and gave his heart to someone else NEVER factored into her thinking.
If Laiba truly loved Haider and wasn't just obsessed with some fantasy of a life she thought she'd have with him, she would've thought at least once about what he wanted and how to make him happy. She never did because his happiness and desires didn't matter to her.
Agreed. But sadly a mental character forcing their socalled love on an unwilling person is a compulsory ingredient of dramas. Look at Deewanegi, Tu Mera Jhunooon. Same recipe. It's not love. It's crazy.
