There's something very sacred and pure about Piedmont Valley. I can't put my finger on it. The first time i traveled the pine ridge to enter Piedmont, I picked up this immense high energy, and a sense of peace and safety with a tinge of eeriness. Ive been all over Missouri, and have only felt this energy in a few other areas. It's a sense of awe, oddness, and peace i can't explain. It makes sense theres a UFO connection to it. Some of the most evil places I've felt in MO are between Salem and Carthage. Just pure evil emanating from the ground. Many towns that are wicked or evil have a freemason sign on their cities welcome sign. They are usually the most spiritually oppressed. The region surrounding Branson also has an extremely high vibration and great energy, very similar to Piedmont Valley, but does not have the eerie feeling. I believe we live in an ancient region with many UFO bases underground that have existed since the time before the flood.
My father is a retired captain for the cameron missouri police force. In the early 90s there was a sighting that happened. There were over 12 citizens that went to the police station with statements and many also drew what they saw. Yep ufos. My dad actually also saw it, it was midnight he was drunk fishing with a buddy and said all of a sudden it was like someone turned on the lights. They both witnessed it but my father knew he couldn’t tell a soul he was a cop. They would think he was crazy so kept his mouth. But here’s the thing dad knew all the the evidence would disappear and fast. So he secretly copied everything. He has all the reports. But yes the FBI or another agency came in and took everything. Every statement/papers/pictures were gone like it never freaking happened. He has the copies in his basement. Awesome right? Never felt safe for my father so i never told anyone. Side note we lived on the edge of town next to a radio tower. I was a teenager and it was summer i think July, i would go out and mow the yard for my dad when was at work. I went to the shed to get the mower i was inside and looked out. At the radio tower there were a line of blacked out suvs now parked in front of this radio tower. I have never in my 18 years of living at that home see anyone go there. There were multiple men in full black suits-even the freaking sunglasses get of the suvs. I didn’t think they saw me so i hid for almost an hour in July outside in a shed full of spiders. I mean it was in the HOT that day these men showed up right after the ufo thing. Why would all these men in suits be going to this radio tower? And at that time suvs were not as common as a car as they are now. Especially in our farming community. This has been on my mind for ever. Believe or not but they believe in you.
So I don’t know what was happening but about a couple years ago me and my stepdad went out on Clearwater lake at about 7pm to fish at night for crappie, at first the night was okay and normal, but then as the night went on we started hearing noises. We were the only ones out on the lake clearly because we were at a spot that kind of overlooks the whole lake. The first couple things we’ve heard that night was stuff underwater that sounded like something blowing up, after that we heard what seemed to be like something falling in the water, it was so loud that we thought they opened up the spillway. When that happened we nearly got knocked out of the boat, keep in mind that the sound we heard was on the other side of the lake from where we were. A couple nights later we took my mom out there at night, we heard the same noises basically and at one point we were sitting there in the boat fishing and we heard something come out of the water. Once again we almost fell out of the boat because of how extreme the waves were. Shortly after that we all agreed to head back to the boat ramp and leave. I don’t know what all of that was but it truly changed my prospective on life.
My dad saw a craft come up out of Clearwater lake and bolt off into the sky. I have property just a few miles from this lake! It is creepy as hell there, everywhere here lately. Does anyone else feel that?
Back in the late 70's early 80's my friend and I saw the classic UFO pass directly over his mom's car when she was driving us to a basketball game at West County High School in Leadwood Mo. It was a round silverish/grey disk with dimly lit portholes around the bottom. It made no noise and just simply drifted over the car and out across a field between Irondale and Franklay Mo. approximately 100ft. above the car. His mom didn't see it because her eyes were glued to the road. That image is still just as clear in my mind today as the evening we saw it.
hey man i was curious, since there are so many lead mines in the area is the drinking water safe? Have there been problems with lead poisoning when you were growing up there? THanks
About 1973 or 1974 my brother and myself were in our backyard in Boonville, MO. At about 30 feet off the ground down the fence line the was a soundless ball. It was off-white and a little bigger than a beachball. The object flew around a tree in a 180 degree turn, completely in our sight during the day. As we observed it moving, we ran away, scared inside our house. Years later, I am not sure what I saw. No reports or sightings in the area during those years made any list. I do not remember any reports of Piedmont, MO or any UFOs but it is possible at the time we did hear about it and imagined it happened to us.
my jaw just dropped when you said south of St. Louis i had some weird stuff happen to me as a child near Catawissa mo right smack dab in the middle of these places. And I didn't even know about Aliens until I got older.
There was a man named Ray who used to have encounters with over 30 races. He lived in Dogtown and South City. I can't find his videos anymore on RUclips. He used to wear a cardinal cap, older Italian looking. 30 beings including a small elf like man in a suit who flew a small copper acorn shaped vessel, all the way to elephant head and cat head beings. He would drive down highway 40 at night and meet them in a field outside of town. Apparently they liked to eat bread, so he would bring bread and sweets to them. I can't make this stuff up. Can't find his videos any longer, but he made colored drawings of them. I think he passed now.
Anyone recently move to any of the areas mentioned and have some unexplained issues on a regular basis? I have a friend who is having some major unexplained things happening to her.

A friend saw something yesterday. It was about 10 and they said they saw a light over the top of the trees in our back yard, like someone was on our roof spot lighting the tree tops, when they went outside to check it out they said it was like an impossibly bright tube of light was slowly moving in the sky, very low, lower than a helicopter. Then it moved impossibly fast away. No sound, no sonic boom. The person who told me this is still a little shook. Who can I even talk to about this or is this the beginning of a long life of paranoia?

my grandmother lived in the area most of her life, and she told me about seeing these once. when i was a kid, i thought she was full of shit, but in light of all the recent revelations, i tend to believe her.... she told me it was when she was a kid, and she said they were large orange ovals in the sky, and thet they were there for hours. and all the people on and around her farm (they lived about 15 miles east of piedmont) were on the ground praying, thinking it was the rapture. she told me she was really scared. this must have been in the 30's or 40's if she was a child
My Grandma and her family, I think she had 8 siblings, also lived on a farm just outside of Piedmont. My Aunt says Grandma and siblings saw lights in the sky over the fields at night this would have been 1920,s -1940's. Late 1960's or early 70's my Great Uncle had a neighboring farm. He and my cousin who was a teenager then saw a large yellow oval light and smaller yellow lights came out of it. Smaller lights seemed to be playing around chasing each other, then went back to the large light and it shot up out of there. I saw a UFO at the drive in when I was about 5 yrs old, a spinning disc with green, amber, white and red Lights spinning around its center.
I have seen some weird orbs near camp pulltite. I would like to think I can recognize drones based on standard physics, but now I’m no so sure about anything.

This story was eerily similar to a story my dad had told me since I was a kid. He went to West County in Leadwood and lived in Irondale. Wow

People still consistantly see unexplainable sightings here. I have seen many pictures and heard many stories to this day

1973 there, my sighting was early in the morning waiting for the school bus. Actual craft, no lights.
