Damn, I wasn't expecting a paparazzi to do this job but I'm glad that he did it. The Mario movie was announced back in 2018 and we still have so little information that I have to thank whoever asked these questions.
I wonder what he meant when he said "that’s not the tenor of the performance throughout the film". Better not be another Blue Waffle. Pretty weird movie. Look it up.

Jack Black is criticizable to me since he's a little unfitting. But what I do criticize is the TTG directors, which I believe the movie will be in 2d. Pierre Coffin with somebody else being directors could nail this tbh.
Or Lord & Miller if they know full well who Super Mario is

I'm not saying Chris Pratt's voice is phenomenal. In fact I don't like it but I need to hear more and after 50 times I'm starting to not mind it.
That doesn’t change the fact that you were being toxic about it. Do you know that Mario used to speak in a Brooklyn accent back then, before he was voiced in a high-pitched Italian accent? Anyway, Chris Pratt actually did a good job doing the high-pitched Italian accent in the plumbing commercial scene.

@@WestSeaSpirit Oh come on! it's LITERALLY 2 LINES IN THE TEASER, 2 LINES! How was that last line in the teaser where Mario says "Mushroom Kingdom, here we come" sound exactly like Chris Pratt?! It's a Brooklyn/New York accent! Mario wasn't at first italian because in the Super Show, he has a Brooklyn accent in 1989. And even in the Live-action flim.

Oh lovely what a wonderful miracle. Everyone seem to forgotten that Mario first had a Brooklyn accent in the Old-shows and the Live-Action before He had a Italian accent ONLY in the video games by Charles. Everyone that hates Chris Pratt's Mario voice and saying it doesn't fit are FREAKING DUMB. People just think that Charles is the OG Mario. Well he's NOT!
