Only been watching your videos for a week, but have realised that you are easy to understand and dont seem to over complicate things! Keep up the good work Ta Jon
Yet another great video. Thanks Neil. You rock. I'm a Revit professional but I've been picking up Inventor in my downtime and I'm learning so much from your videos. I've even asked my firm to supply me with a Spacemouse Enterprise and CAD Mouse. I'll let you know how that goes. LOL.
That's a lot easier than I was making it out to be. Thanks again for taking my idea and creating a video. It's exactly what I was looking for. Your awesome!!
Wonderful tutorial... You keep it simple and entertaining. Thanks for your time and efforts! The only key point of criticism would be to keep on track of your objective, meaning stay on point. Love your enthusiasm!
Yea that was kinda my thing in the early days, I was trying to make them entertaining and less stale... but I eventually realised how that can be annoying when people just want to know how something is done quickly. My newer ones are more to the point. Cheers though!
Goooooood cookin. I could probably come up with a 'better' one, with the most perfect spelling, BBC grammar, and best-practice techniques to absolute perfection - but you would use it as a sedative when you've had too much coffee and really need to get a good night's sleep for a big job interview the next morning. TFI (Neil/Neil/Kneel...dude, how do you spell your name?) PLEASE - DON"T change how you do these. The wanderings and "waffling" actually helps us learn the little details - details that experts who may critique your videos may tend to take for granted - and meets us down where we are. It is so casual, off the cuff and you keep it reel. (I know how to spel- it's a VIDEO, man. A Reel...pun.) Dude, Neil (sp.?), you rock, man. Don't go away.
The tutorial was very helpful thank you, however on using the "make a part" I could not add the parts. I would appreciate your help in increasing the text size of the dimensions in sketch mode, since the "Application Options " only allows size 9. Your help will be appreciated since at my age I need large text.
I know it won't look as good, but do you think you could turn down the resolution to 1080p just to get rid of all the problems you were facing. That is unless autodesk actually fix it
+Fraser Muir Its only whilst I'm recording content whilst I'm working out of hotels, I'm on my Alienware laptop at the moment which has a 4K screen, sometimes I get as many problems down scaling to 1080p as I do running native 4K. Also, I've been told my videos are watched by the Inventor dev team so this is a way to highlight problems to the people who fix it without having to go through hoops complaining to people who have no influence over fixing things! If they see it with their own eyes it's the most effective way of reporting issues! If the issue was so big that it spoiled the purpose of my video then obvs I wouldn't include it though!
Most probably (knowing Autodesk and other similar companies) you need to dish out for the inventor 2018 to get better support for 4k and then it's not even completely done yet and oyu have to wait till 2019... I wonder why they don't do regular patches like once a month or several times a year? :(
Wait! Any video I’ve done which is an inventor (4K) recording is always shot at 1080 then upscaled to 4K in rendering to take advantage of RUclips’s increased bitrate delivery. Although things in inventor have changed since that video so it probs needs an update
+shawn vahdat You're welcome to note something here or ask via Twitter (which I'm more likely to see) but it depends what it is, you can appreciate a lot of people ask for a lot of different tutorials and I can only do so many and need to pick topics that I can comfortably do and that will benefit a lot of people!
Heeeey there. I was hoping you could explain sometime how to do something along the lines of what this kid does early in his video here ruclips.net/video/GWUXU8oxeXQ/видео.html It would be pretty awesome to be able to just let the machine run. I apologize if you've already done this in a video I haven't seen yet.
Not bad at all BUT you must stop saying how dumb you are all the time and wasting time on this . and definitely you aren't. Just waste more time explain useful things

Cool tip. Never knew you could do that. Should come in handy :)
Perfect tutorial.
Thanks :)

TFI: Brings you a video on Inventor in 4K
TFI: 4K is useless for Inventor because!
Wait! Any video I’ve done which is an inventor (4K) recording is always shot at 1080 then upscaled to 4K in rendering to take advantage of RUclips’s increased bitrate delivery. Although things in inventor have changed since that video so it probs needs an update
THANK YOU FOR THE VIDEO MATE!!!
Good job.
Flipping Brilliant! Just enough learning to make me dangerous.
The intro😄😄😄
The plural of vice is vices! Love your tutorials btw
oh and vise is the american spelling
wow, cool!
Lmao your videos are so entertaining! 😂 Thank you, this helps so much, I was struggling with this today!
good!
Would take a request on tutorials?

+TFI CAD Tips from your videos is absent only one thing .Use of joints and dynamic simulation .keep on
love the attitude... :D
The plural for dice is die, so the plural of vice must be "vie"
Easy understand
Terimakasih,
good video! (:
"Contact Set" was the missing thing to me ;>
We pronounce vise as "vize"; as opposed to "vice", which suggests a vicious habit.
Moreover, the plural of "vise" is indeed "vises".
One day am gonna make a weapon to a game. Just so i can own my own weapon in the game if they want.
+1 vote for "unscripted"
Youre so funny😂😂

video is fine but the scripting comments are very off-putting.
