Russian tank blown up while navigating Ukrainian minefield
HTML-код
- Опубликовано: 27 сен 2024
- MOMENT unsuspecting Russian tank navigating a Ukrainian minefield is blown to pieces as soldiers watch on.
The images first show two Russian tanks making their way across a ploughed field.
Although there is a road running parallel just next to them it appears to be blocked by wreckage of an earlier incident and as a result, the tanks head over the field in single file.
Suddenly, the first tank apparently hits a mine, causing a large explosion. The vehicle comes to a stop, with the second tank stopping a safe distance behind it. A third tank can be seen having joined the convoy a short distance behind the second tank.
The footage then cuts to what appears to be a Russian military vehicle having made its way close to where the tank at the head of the convoy blew up, perhaps in a bid to rescue any soldiers still alive inside it.

Dangerous to mankind
@@random-l4m1g Russists don't belong to mankind anymore.
Has anyone even seriously thought that we, Europeans, are somehow imperceptibly and slowly becoming accomplices in these terrible atrocities of the US Democrats, who are simply tearing Ukraine apart? In the end, after all this is over, the rest of the world will be very much afraid of us (if not already afraid), and the people of Ukraine, most likely, will hate us fiercely for everything we have brought them to. US Democrats put money above all else, this is common knowledge, but did we, the Europeans, allow such that our leaders completely obeyed them and began to behave the same way? It's just a disaster! We urgently need to do something ... We need to run away from them, as far as possible, if we do not want to be complicit in all these lawlessness, although they, like the most fierce mafiosi, will not let anyone out of their networks so easily. Clear example is Ukraine. It's complete awful, who we got involved with and what we are doing...
@@alantoon5708 That sounds like orc tactics. As defenders of their homeland, I doubt Ukrainians did this.

Napoleon Blown-aparte??
@@panjulemo Well it took 7 coalitions to defeat him finally, after he made the mistake of invading Russia. Before his blunder in Russia and his eventual exile, he had defeated every major nation in Europe in battle and changed the course of European history forever. What really defeated him was the lack of a navy to contest the Royal Navy, and the strategic depth of Russia. He made the mistake of believing occupying Moscow would bring Russia to the peace table (it worked with every other nation he had defeated and occupied), but the Russian Tsar ignored his plea as the Russian army had been using scorched earth tactics and Napoleon had exhausted his supply lines. I get you were joking, but it's an interesting story never the less. What he achieved before his defeat has never been replicated.
shocking to see that the 2nd tank driver diverted from the tracks of the first. This seems completely irrational. In a mine field.
Yeah upon discovering a minefield I think the last thing you would want to do is drive in a new patch of ground.

How do you know
At the end of the video, it looks like the remaining tank crews disembarked from their vehicles and high tailed it to the right and the woods. look for the tracks. EDit: Nope, I have to correct myself, those "tracks" were present before the first tank exploded.
That's one way to slowly clear a minefield.
New dictionary definition for 'Navigating': To blindly continue in a straight line regardless of surroundings or context.
that's what navigating in russian terms is^^
Nice answer🤣
What is even more amazing, was the second tank, who was a huge distance away, for some reason and following in the track marks of the leader, (which initially saved him from hitting any mines), after seeing the lead hit one, started to divert to the side of the smoking wreckage instead of carefully backing up the way he came.
Navugating: Things that go BOMB
Can you imagine the tanks in the back, and what they are thinking??? "Nope, we're going to stay right here for the rest of the war."
Until putins demands they move forward otherwise you’ll never seen your families again
especially because maybe at that distance, they might not know what hit that tank, especially if the crew were knocked out.
haHA yeah totally, If there is anyone on this planet totally unprepared and taken by surprise by explosions/people dying its people going to war and on the front lines, they were probably like "ummm this is awkward, like , uhh we were just having a nice conversation and now jimmies fun-time gun-car has blown up, umm did anyone say ""Im ready for holiday?!" heyooo!"

At this time of the year, I wouldn't drive on a field that doesn't have any plants. Highly suspicious...Farmers probably know were the mines are located and they didn't seed there.
yes because they're all farming in the middle of a warzone. honestly how dumb can you be.
You don't seed in a war zone. Field might not be yours in a few days.
hmm very smart, but maybe its the fact it becomes difficult to do farming in an active warzone even if its not part of some mine-laying farmer scheme.
Yea doubt any farmers are trying to plant when a freaking war is going on... All you'll end up doing is going broke by nothing being raised. And if something does get grown then people will just steal your food becuase of the war going on...

That was smart of him to drive on the field in order to avoid mines.
Not as stupid as you make it out - Judging by the shadows, the tank looks like it is heading in a westerly directiong, meaning the ukrainians could very likely be on his right flank. Driving on the (raised) road would expose more of him to flanking shots whereas driving parallel to the road gives at least some cover - and explains why the field was mined.
The mine successfully took out one tank but had the minefield been part of a well-planned ambush (either by infantry with anti-tank missiles, prepared artillery/rockets or even remotely operated charges/mines) more of the russians could have been eliminated.
I am quite sure the ukrainians would have liked to do so but they may have been forced away by russian artillery prior to the tank advancing.

One of the compromises of main battle tanks is the thin armor on top and below the vehicles. Because of this top-attack warheads and anti-armor mines are particularly deadly to the tanks. I remember seeing a video from Syria several years ago where one of the Assad regime's T-72 tanks ran over this same kind of anti-armor mine and it killed all three of the crew members inside. This was a T-80BV but it has pretty much the same inconsequential amount of armor underneath, I would bet the crew of this tank didn't survive either.
