You did not imitate, you expanded on the theme of the song. As an Australian, and therefore an avid ACDC listener, I did not find your bastardisation of the original to be anything other than an acceptable alteration of an already great song. 10/10 for effort, 9/10 for the song (let's face it, the original can't be bettered, but I guess I'm somewhat biased lol) Noice!!!!

That is messy but I liked it. Mixing rock/metal won't ever be easy but you didn't half do a good job. Never let anyone tell you you can't, cos then you just won't. Work on the structure. I think you just did what I do and worked it from start to finish a bit at a time and liked all the bits you did. It all works but maybe not all in one shot. Hat's off. :)

I've just listened to both again and I think it's the build up of tension in the original + the crazy lyrics that sell the song so well. Lacking the lyrics here makes it feel similar but just missing something. It's not bad - don't get me wrong, i looked up Thunderstruck Remixes for a reason, but IMO just missing too much of the original which i get can be difficult to adapt to such a different style.
