    Yes, hair tapers towards the end, but it shouldn't be drastic. I noticed the thinning as well. Finger detangling and staying away from over usgae of combs helped. I notice at times when you use your tangle teezer, you keep swiping it through your hair over and over after it's already detangled. That can weaken hair strands over time. Just an observation out of love. Cut what you feel comfortable with.

    Girl live your life, I am a woman who had a hair type change.
    I had soft almost Indian haar till I was 19. Than I start colouring, bleaching. I cut my hair so many times. I had years of iron deficiency,.my hair change just like that,it was getting hard, course every time I washed with shampoo,went it was dry it would get so hard , course. so I relaxed my hair every 3 months so it will looks that smooth Indian hair. One day I stopped the relaxers and Finally accepted my new natural hair. I love my new hair,.My new problems is I still love colouring my hair and my hair really breaks off and I am too dump to stay away from the box dye 😂

  • @Ifeoma_Gift
    @Ifeoma_Gift 2 дня назад

    Your hair is beautiful ❤️ My hair is also very fine like yours. I recently had a blow dry for the first time and the thin ends became more noticeable.
    Like you I also contemplated a big chop some months back but i decided to trim only 2 inches off instead. Fast forward to 2 months later, my ends looked thin again. I'm convinced that with fine hair, that 'thin ends look' won't go away. I guess it's just a fine hair thing and it doesn't necessarily mean your hair is damaged. If the motive for your trim/chop is healthy ends, then go for it. But I also believe fine hair is never really thick at the ends so a medium / big chop might be unnecessary if those ends aren't really damaged.

    i think you should do a big chop or trim a few inches every 1 to 3mths. i do not agree with leaving it alone since i dont think u are trimming ur ends, i guess "properly". if u were properly trimming ur ends, then ur hair thickness would be throu out (from root to end).
    however, i do believe you have been making the right decision for ur hair. like going to doctor, finding a hiar regime that works for u, and noticing when something is not working...
    i think the thinner parts of ur hair show where you were in ur hair journey. and the hair closer to ur roots is where you are now.😊

    Big chop, but it’s really not that big. Your hair will still be long. You’ll be more satisfied with your hair if you get it over with, I think. I think you’ll enjoy having hair that’s the same thickness from end to root, too.

    Your hair at the ends are probably thin due to you having fine hair. And since hair grows at the root, it’s a lot thicker. And once the thicker growth starts to downward, your hair will probably become thicker towards the ends. Idk that’s just my opinion 😅
