I watch a lot of your videos and something I've noticed is when you get mystery boxes from sites that are affiliate Links of yours or the like and you get a pop box that is creased or may have a small tear in the corner you say it's no big deals not going to affect the pop very much at all maybe 10%. But let you get the same pops with the same damage from an individual selling you their collection that is not an affiliate of yours and you act like it's the worst thing in the world if you have a crunched box or tear in the Box. So is it only okay to receive damage pops as long as you're getting something back from the company that sent it to you? If so that's kind of scandalous.
What? You honestly can't be serious my man. There is a HUGE DIFFERENCE in spending $100 on a Funko Pop mystery box that is advertised as a damaged box vs. spending HUNDREDS of dollars on a Funko Pop collection that was sold to me as ALL pops are in near mint to mint condition. See the difference? If you don't, think harder.
We must have watched two different videos. At no point did I see him act like its the "worst thing in the world". In fact, he stated he would give some of them away for free. Didnt seem too upset about it.
These were more then a tear or crease. Most of the actual damaged pops here looked like they got punted across a room. lol I would have been a bit more upset then him as me seemed to have more of a meh attitude even offering to just use them as a giveaway.
Probably factored into the total value of the box anyway.
Personally, I think it’s an unnatural biased we all have when we buy vs sell etc… I’ve noticed this myself and have watched Clint going on 3-4yrs now, but his job is predicated on the ability to buy low and sell high….. I wouldn’t say it has any association with his affiliate links and more to do with human nature and a business mentality. Sure he may skew the same damage at times given the scenario but so what? It’s your job as either the buyer to know the market and value of said pop when assessing the condition or as the seller to do the same and also package your shit with a little care….. any of my pops over $50 are in hard-stacks and all the other are in shumi 0.6mm soft-protectors no matter the value (and I have 600+ pops lol)!

I finally got my first funko pop and I love it! I collect Coca-Cola items and got the Coca-Cola bear for $15 (CAN).... and there was no damage! It's so cool! Just wanted to thank you for your suggestions/advice on buying it. :)

how do people know what is a fake pop or counterfeit. if someone bought a collection at a swap meet or from a guy on facebook marketplace ud think the seller would be true to his word .
Maybe I’m ignorant… but if you pay 100+ dollars to ship the funkos doesn’t that kinda defeat the purpose? On top of that your selling a bulk lot, so clint isn’t paying full price for each of your pops. Idk.

So like what's the best way to ship a collection, I got one that I wanna sell of but just have no idea how much padding and bubble wrap I'll need and this is for like over 200 pops
Make sure each people has a protector and you can buy the box that has the padding then add bubble wrap around each pop and inside the box on all sides...you would be highly praised as a seller
I got the full what if? zombie collection the dr strange was a target exclusive and got iron man,falcon,scarlett witch and zombie hunter spidey buy 1 get 1 free on a 30% off day with a $20 boxlunch "bucks" (basically gift card )ended up payin $14 total thats with the rodman and cpl mando pocket pops but I never heard live action marvel zombies heard the cartoon was gonna get a season....
Damage Funko Pops sucks. This seller was horrible.

If you get something for 10 it’ll be like 16-17 bucks with shipping on your first order. Shipping drops after the first one. But if you say get a score for around 5 it’d be mostly free lol

I always give clear instructions to the seller on how to properly and safely ship a collection. What they actually do I cannot control obviously. All of us collection buyers run into this exact same scenario way to often.

Why dont you contact the seller of the collection and demand a partial refund for the damaged pops? I sure would. If i bought a collection from you, and I got a damaged pop or two...you can bet Id contact you for a partial refund or better yet send them back for a full refund.

I didn't pay for the collection until I had it in hand the price I paid out dropped due to bad packaging on the seller's part that caused damage.

i find it funny u ALWAYS order "damage" boxes from companys, then act like there always mint and sell them as so. then when u buy from people u ALWAYS complain about there damage, so u can pay the bottom dollar to the real collector that spend there time an money on there collection, and you just flip them anyway.. ur not very fair to our collecting community if u ask me
Purchasing "damaged" mystery boxes and all the pops arriving in mint condition is fantastic. Purchasing "mint" Funko Pop collections and receiving a lot of damaged pops is NOT okay. You need to learn the difference, it really doesn't take that much common sense to comprehend.

I like watching these videos even though I don't buy any pops. A suggestion for improving your videos is maybe make the editing a bit sharper. Sometimes certain parts of the videos are too repetitive and long.

You say at the beginning of the video that there is always going to be damage and yet you start to bang the side of the box yourself ! Funny. My opinión the Moon Knight series was not so good, not incredible. It was kind of boring. Worse Marvel series so far!
